The App Store says that I bought it under another ID but there is no other ID!
What to do?

Syncing to a new iTunes library or computer will erase your ipod. Only if you back up your iPod manually before syncing, you can restore your device from that backup again. A manual backup does not include the sync process.
Do this:
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your iPod to your new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your iPod without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
All media content will be erased during the first sync, but you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the ipod for the first time.
Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.

The ipod touch will sync with one comptuer at a time. Syncing to another will indeed erase the current content.
Redownload the song on your ipod.

Same as you would if you bought a pc; copy everything from your old computer to your new one. Then you can just sync everything from the new computer, as you did with the old one.

Hello this is happening to us also (minus the Bluetooth speaker). We can't figure out what is causing the data usage. I turned off mobile data as soon s I activated the device, and got the message that unless I am connected to WiFi.....(that is exactly what I wanted). We watched Netflix for about three hours, then the alerts started. Like you we have many devices connected and never used over 2GB now all of a sudden we have used it in a matter of hours. My husband called Verizon and got the usual doubting Thomas response. I understand that they don't know my device settings. So over the phone we check all the settings and turned off every possible culprit eating up the data and end the call. By now I have purchased another gig for the month! Assured we are NOT using mobile data, we continue on the IE path to bliss. HA! A few hours later I check the mobile data usage on the Verizon website and that darn thing is still using data. After two more phone calls and two VERY uneventful trips to the local store we were told to take out the sim card. This has stopped the data usage, but it defeats the purpose of having the data plan. I could have just stuck with my Surface. Verizon sent us a new sim card. Its been installed and I have set my homepage to Verizon mobile data usage (just kidding) but I am on that site a lot. I am surprised at the number of complaints about this device. When we called the Verizon support acted as though this was the first time they had heard about this. Thanks for your advice, I went to the apple shop today for a face to face meeting with a tech and he checked everything and could not figure out why I was having this problem so we decided to give up on that account and create a whole new one for me using a different email address.
Now I can download apps on both my iPhone and ipad2.
If anyone is reading this in Brisbane Australia go to the Chermside apple shop and ask for Wade. He was fantastic!

First, right after updating my iTunes to the latest version, my iTunes will not display album covers. It says exactly "iTunes is unable to browse album covers on this computer." It has never been an issue before, but, anyway... that is where it all started.
Then I read a bunch of Apple Support topics on the subject, and it directed me to replace my library file with a previous library file. So, I did, and now, not only will my albums not display, but my iPod Touch will not sync with my computer, the only computer I have ever used it on. It says that the ipod is synced with another library and asks me if I want to erase and sync (I have my music on my computer, but I will lose all of my apps and such).

I have purchased a from within an app. I submit my password for the app, and then my Apple ID. I then get the following messages "Regrant failure _ please log in with the same user that has bought this app" and that is followed by "cant conn with IT _

I have purchased an item from within the app PocketBible on my iPad. However when I try to download it I am asked for my app User Name and Password and then my Apple ID and password. I give both of these. I then get a message which says Regrant failure - Please log in with the same user that has bought the app. That is then followed by Pocket Bible Alert - cannot connect to iTunes Store.
Anybody got any ideas, both what the 1st alert means and how I get round the problem please.

I had the same problem. My wife had the PocketBible on her Ipad 2 and she transferred ownership to me. I had to delete the app and reinstall it from the App store(logged in with my apple ID) and its working without a problem. I do not get those error messages when I attempt to Buy/Upgrade or Add/Remove books.

It has NEVER been possible to purchase an unlocked iPhone 3G in the US. Your phone was hacked. Updating it has re-locked it to AT&T. AT&T will NOT unlock iPhones for any reason.
The phone is now useless to you. There is no legitimate way to fix this. Buy a new phone. Preferably in India.

Log out of the iTunes Store on your device:
Settings>iTunes & App Store...tap your Apple ID, then select "Sign Out"
Reset your device:
Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.
After the device has restarted, sign back in to the App Store as above.

I think I am following -- I was able to upload to my iPhoto and all photos and videos are there that is a plus! I tried to create an Event in my iPhoto and put all of my photos in that event but for some reason, now my iTunes it not recognizing that Event in my iPhoto. It is not allowing me to import just that event at the moment but I may be doing something wrong. At least all of my pics and vids are in iPhoto so that is a plus and I know they are at least saved somewhere. Just for some reason, my iTunes it not locating the event that I created with only those photos.

Also, I had no clue that my iCloud could be backed up via cellular data! However, is this a new feature with the most updated iOS?? Unforutnatly I am like 2 iOS updates behind because I don't have enough storage on my phone. because you do not have a 3rd generation device. The OS Version says so , otherwise you would be at 4.3.5 minimum and also Itunes is also always correct in determining if you have the latest OS ( if not it fetches the newest from Apple's Servers ) . And because a 2nd generation iPod stops at 4.2.1 you can't get the newest OS, because your device is old. Buy a new iPod , they have iOS5 preinstalled.
