Itunes says there is a problem with my audio configuration. HELP Please

i recently updated my itunes to 7.02 and first few days it was Ok.but now it's not even turning on , it just flashes a message saying there is a problem with my audio configuration. other media players are working perfectly but i only download music from itunes and i cannot survive without my music. please help!!!!!!!!!!!!

Uninstalling Quicktime and then doing a repair install of iTunes may help.
First completely uninstall Quicktime (not iTunes) using the method in this link:
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93698
Then go to add/remove programs>Change or remove progams and select iTunes.
Click on Change/Remove, then click repair.
