ITunes shortcuts buttons not working in Windows 7

The 3 buttons (previous song, pause and next song) that appear on the little window of the iTunes (when you put the mouse over the iTunes symbol) on the Windows 7 aren't working. I reinstalled the iTunes but still not working. Could anybody help me?

ITunes and iCloud not Working with Windows 7 64 bit ???

I just got a new computer running Windows 7 64 bit. I installed iTunes 10.5.2.11 (64 bit). First error was 'The file "iTunes Library.itl" cannot be read because it as created by a newer verion of iTunes.' I closed iTunes and renamed iTunes Library.itl to iTunes Library.itl-old. Of course when I restarted iTunes, I didn't have a library but that was just a minor problem. iTunes created a new file named Library.itl.
Now when I start iTunes it says 'A required iTunes component is not installed. Please repair or reinstall iTunes. (-4204).' There's an OK button so I click OK. That error goes away and then the next error is 'This iPod cannot be used because the required software is not installed. Run the iTunes installer to remove Tunes, then install the 64 bit version of iTunes.'
So I've uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled itunes about a dozen times. I downloaded it again to amke sure it was the latest version. Same errors every time. I uninstalled all my Apple stuff and reinstalled it. Same errors. Also, iCloud doesn't work. Error is "Application not found."
So ***? iTunes won't recognize my iPod touch or my iPad 2. Tried two different cables. Suggestions???

ITunes Home Sharing not working in Windows 8 with Apple TV

My Home Sharing does not work on Apple TV 2 - I am running the latest version of itunes, apple tv software, all windows updates installed, all firewall ports required are open, anti-virus is allowing things through, I have reset and restarted my apple tv, pc and routers, unticked IPv6 - still nothing - please help!

Problem solved, however not the way I would have preferred...
Turns out that I needed to disconnect the hardwired ethernet connection between my router and the Apple TV.
I my setup consisted of a traditional hardwired Linksys router, and a matching Linksys access point.
Both my computers were on the wireless network setup by the access point, and were able to communicate between each other just fine.
However, for whatever reason neither one would communicate with the AppleTV while it was hardwired to the router. Once I unplugged it, and assigned it to the same wireless network as the computers were on, it was able to see both computers without any problems...
Not too upset, seeing as how the AppleTV is only about a foot from the access point and router - so there are no signal strength issues. However, I would have preferred to keep the AppleTV on the hardwired connection...
Hope this comes in handy for anyone else with this problem...

Brightness shortcut keys not working in Windows 8 or 8.1

I'm no longer able to use the brightness shortcut keys after I've installed the Lenovo power management tool in Windows 8 on a Ideapad U300s.
When the Lenovo power management tool is NOT installed on the system, pressing the shortcut keys brings up the Windows UI in the upper left hand corner of the screen and the display bridghness is adjusted accordingly.
However, as soon as the Lenov PM software is installed, the Windows brightness indicator shows up ONCE and I can no longer adjust the brightness with the shortcut buttons.

At the moment, there aren't any Boot Camp drivers ready for Windows 8, so it's normal that you have problems. Wait until Apple updates Boot Camp drivers, normally with a OS X update

Button not working on Windows IE7

Hi, I'm having trouble with this site

contact form does not work on a windows PC using a IE7 browser or
Firefox browser. It does however work fine on a Mac using any

ITunes Library Buttons Not Working

I have been using iTunes for a long time and have never seen this issue before, but now, when I open itunes, I can not use any of the links / buttons under the Library section on the left. I can open the iTunes store and navigate around just find, but when I click on any of the Library buttons, it attempts to load something but nothing actually loads.
For example, clicking on Music will load the Genius right sidebar (doesn't load the entire thing, but displays the gray box) but thats it. Nothing in the main area. When I click on Movies, I see the top tab buttons "Movies, Genre & Unwatched" but nothing in the body. Its like its completely hosed.
I've gone about fully uninstalling iTunes (and I mean FULLY) and re-installing, but I get the exact same results. Any thoughts on this one?

Trash the iTunes Library file in your iTunes folder and put back the backup copy... check the name is correct 'iTunes Library'
Put all your backed up music in the iTunes Music folder.
Start iTunes and it should all work... as a check set the preferences > advanced > general tab NOT to copy any files when adding to Library and DO keep iTunes Music folder orgaized... OK any changes.
From the file menu select 'add to library' and choose the iTunes Music folder.

Quick Launch buttons not working on Window 8.1

I have installed window 8.1 but quick launch buttons, which used to work with combination of FN key, for example fn+F3 key for brightness, fn+F8 for volume, fn+F6 key to lock the computer etc are not working. What is the solution?

I have available a pretty extensive list and I cannot find a Quick Launch Driver for Windows 8.1. Might be one; I don't see it.
I use a completely different arrangement of Custom Toolbars from what most people use so I am not at all sure what constitutes a Quick Launch.

ITunes store button not working

Help. The store button in iTunes is not working
When I press it nothing happens and if I follow a link to download a song it tells me the link is not valid.
This only seems to be an issue for the iTunes store, app store working fine.
Have tried all the usual things of restarting, resetting and logging out and back in again but problem persists
Using an iPad 2 with iOS 5 which is fully up to date. This has only happened since the upgrade to iOS 5

Not sure about the layout on PC but try this.
(1) Starting at home screen (click the house icon top, middle). (2) Top right, click on Library button. (3) Next screen, top left, click the icon that says Music. It will pull up a menu where you can select Apps (also movies, tv, etc).
At the bottom right you should see your update button for your apps and telling you the count of those.

Itunes wifi sync not working on windows 8!!

Does itunes wifi sync works on windows 8? Because i already have enabled wifi sunc but after i disconnect the cable from the ilhone it doesnt aloud me to do sync via wifi. Does anyone know how to make it work properly on windows 8?

Interesting. I still haven't had any problems with iTunes 10.7 under Windows 8 Pro, including adding music files purchased from a 3rd party source (Amazon) and buying an album through iTunes. iTunes successfully matched the Amazon-purchased MP3's, and I was able download the iTunes AAC's to replace them. The only thing not typical about my set-up that I can think of is that I have iTunes installed on my B: drive--both the program files and the iTunes Media folder--not on my C: drive (an SSD). My library sounds about the same size as yours (~4,000 songs).
(My only Windows 8 problem has been with DVD playback and the Windows 8 Store Netflix and Hulu apps. It looks like the new AMD graphics card drivers don't seem to be passing HDCP tests under Windows 8. There are simple work-arounds--watching Netflix or Hulu in a web browser--so at this point, I'm just waiting.)

Brightness buttons not working in Windows 10

Hi I have an HP 255 G3 Notebook running Windows 10 64-bit. The brightness buttons (f2 and f3) are not working for brightness adjustments. Nothing happens when the buttons are pressed. The othe buttons are working fine (for example volume adjustment f7 and f8). Any ideas on how I can make the buttons work? Kind regards Joey

I have an AMD lap top and AMD'S latest graphics driver disables the brightness keys for some reason so i went to device manager (windows button + X ------> Display Adapter-------> click on grapics card------> driver tab------> update driver)after i did that windows searched for driver and updated and right after that the brightness keys worked! Browse button not working in Windows Phone while tyring to upload an image to Pictures library in Sharepoint 2013 online site .

I am trying to upload an image to SharePoint 2013 online site's Pictures Library from the Windows phone. When I click on Browse button, nothing happens. Although the same browse button in working in the chrome and allowing to select an image from the
phone library.

Macbook Shortcut buttons not working

I don't know what happened today, but my shortcut buttons (F1 - F4) that usually control the screen brightness and volume stopped working - pressing them by themselves won't change the volume, but if I hold down the function button and press the buttons though, then I can still change the brightness and volume. Does anyone know how to change it back to the buttons work without having to hold down function?

Go into system preferences, go to keyboard and mouse, under the keyboard section, make sure to un-check the box to use Fn keys for shortcuts.

It IS a firewall problem. Most likely.
A lot of people on these forums kept assuring us "it's your firewall settings" that's causing the problem, while others resentfully responded back with "but I turned mine off, that's not the problem"
Well, yes, it most likely is the problem. I was in the same situation. iTMS wouldn't open for me and so i turned my firewall settings off on Norton, and it still wouldn't work. I didn't think I needed to bother with changing my firewall settings to add itunes since I wasn't even running it my firewall anymore.
But out of desperation I decided to open Norton Internet Security, click on my firewall settings by pressing "configure" and then click "permit all" for iTunes.
And it actually worked. For me. At least. But hey, I was cussing Apple for days until I tried this ...
Dell Dimension 9100 Windows XP

I was getting the exact same thing with my 2nd generation Shuffle after I installed Itunes 8.1 to my computer. Couldnt load my Ipod at all.
I was reading over in http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1244785&tstart=0 and tried what the guy suggested. I created a playlist of the songs I wanted to load to my Ipod, then clicked on my Ipod. I set the Ipod to autofill from the playlist I set up, then hit the Autofill button. I unplugged my USB mouse, waited 2 seconds, then plugged my mouse back in. Miraculously the playlist began to get loaded onto my Ipod and I can use it again. Unfortunately I have to do this every time I want to add or remove something from the Ipod, but hopefully Apple will fix this sometime soon (hint, hint!).

Website payment and shopping cart buttons not working on Windows Phone browser

A customer shopping on our site notified me that the "add to cart" and "view cart" buttons were taking him to the PayPal main site and not the shopping cart. I tried a Windows Phone at the Verizon store and found the same issue. I have tested the site on multiple Windows desktop browsers, on Android, Linux and iPad and have never seen this issue. What is going on with IE on Windows Phone?

I had this problem too, but I found a post burried on the web that said to add " p06- " (without quotes) before the imap and smpt server names and that worked:

Everything stays checked, SSL for both, authentication and use same username and password checked.

SL510 volume buttons not working on windows 8 64

I have updated my SL510(2847-7LG) to Windows 8 64Bit.
- HotKeyFeatures 3.84.2000
- Human Interface Device Access Service is running
Sadly if I press the mute Button nothing happened.
the volume Buttons working well.
So I found the following behavior:
If I press the Mute Button and then one of the volume Buttons(increase/decrease) the System will be Muted.
But the Mute Button itself doesn't work.
I tryed reinstall the Hotkeyfeatures several times but the Problem persists.
Would be great if someone could help me fixing this Issue.

I have the same issue with SL500 ..Although link readme says the driver is meant for win 8 64 bit, it fails to install. "This program does not support this system" - it is what I get when running the setup.
