ITunes showing I have photos on my iPad and I don't-help me please!
HI, need a bit of help.
My iTunes shows in the summary of what data I've consumed where on my iPad Air 2 that I have got 362 photos which is using 6.07MB.
I've recently cleared my iPad of all it's photos so why it's still saying I've got any photos on there at all I am unsure about.
Is there anything I could do to make my iPad and iTunes see I don't have 6GB of photos!!

I have the new ipad with retina display and it had that new smaller charger as you probably already know, well I've only had this ipad for about three months and I've already gone through two chargers for the same problem which is When I plug it in it does not charge unless I unplug it and plug it in about 40 times and then it starts to charge! Since your iPad is quite new, why are you "re-buying" chargers? Are you not using the charger that came in the box -- the original Apple charger? If you were doing that, and did not mishandle the charger (e.g., tug on the cord to pull the charger out of the wall socket), Apple would take care of the charger under its warranty.
So I suspect you're either mishandling the charger (not likely), or using some third party charger (more likely).
If it's the original Apple charger, and you're not mishandling it, contact Apple for assistance. -
I have the 2nd Gen iPad and imported my photos from my computer to my iPad awhile back. Now I'd like to sync it to new MacBook Pro and my albums are not showing up? Anyone know how to fix this?
You'll have to transfer them from the pc to the mac.

I have photos on my iPad that I want to delete. The problem is I don't have access to the computer used to sync them. It was my ex husbands computer and iTunes account. Is there any other way to delete them?
Not sure is any of these methods will work.

After the most recent iOS update there is a problem with phantom photos.
Perhaps you have phantom photos, that are invisible in the Recently Deleted album and thus cannot be deleted. Then resetting the date will help. Changing the date makes the invisible photos in "Recently deleted" visible again:

I managed to get rid of the phantom usage. Restoring iPhone and resetting the phone settings/data do not work for me.
I had to move the Date on my phone earlier by 1,2,3 months and found the phantom photos in the Recently Deleted Folder. Next, I deleted the photos manually from the Recently Deleted Folder and the usage got freed up from my iPhone. -
I have just downloaded an app to my computer through itunes. It shows up as downloaded to my ipad, which I don't have. I want it on my computer. I follow all the instructions and always come to a deadend. Help! Thanks!

How can i get my itunes library on my fiances' iphone 5? I have an iphone 4s, ipad and a Mac book pro. I thought I could have my music on up to ten different devises? I signed in on his phone and my music is in his itunes account but it is not in his music file.
I regret to say that you need a new computer. That G5, as good as it still is, simply cannot run the required software to be used with the latest iPhones and other software.

I have just connected my computer to my iPad to import photos to my iPad and have imported the wrong ones and wish to delete them. Does anyone know how I do this please. I am a novice at this as I have ony just acquired my iPad,
Photos that were synced from your computer using iTunes can only be deleted by de-selecting them from the folder from where they were synced - and then re-syncing.
Connect the iPad to the computer and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Photos Tab on the right.
Uncheck all of the albums that you want to remove under the Sync Photos From heading
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
If you are using iTunes 11 and you can't see the sidebar go to View>Show Sidebar from the menu at the top. -
ITunes shows 2,700 photos on my iPhone, but there's only 161 on the phone.
My iPhone's disc space is suddenly full. iTunes shows I have 7gb of photos (2,700)on my iPhone when I connect it, but my phone really only has 161.
I recently updated to iOS 4.0.1 on iPhone 3GS and iTunes 9.2.0.61 on Windows Vista. I was previously using iOS 3.1.3 and iTunes 9.0.xxx (not sure of which 9.0 version) and I had been using an App called Goodreader. I would transfer my files via USB with an .exe file called GoodreaderUSB to my iPhone. Now I can't since iTunes has been cracking down on that, and Goodreader uses iTunes to USB transfer with their new version and iTunes 9.2.xxx. I have a feeling my old USB transfers are all still in my phone, just unaccessible but iTunes is showing them as photos as far as disc space goes. This could be completely unrelated to Goodreader, but I have a strong suspicion it's the problem.
I've attempted multiple backups and syncs and I'm only syncing 84 photos (part of the 161 on my phone).
I also just realized it's showing 5.8gb of apps, when I did the math quick and only have 2gb of apps.
My iPhone also shows that I have used this much disc space when I run the app "System Activity Monitor."
Anyone know how to resolve this problem?

However, accessing this location was a violation of Apple’s iPhone SDK Agreement, because the app had to access files outside its own private storage space, which is forbidden by Apple.
Because of this, your only choice to fix this. at this point, may be to restore your phone as a "new" device in itunes and NOT from backup. Follow this by syncing your content back to your phone. Unfortunately, ALL saved data on your phone will be lost. -

Last night I found an app called photo transfer. It's free in the app store, and then you'll pay $1.99 to have it on your ipad, iphone, etc. The phototranferapp.com site tells you haw to use for android.
(We haven't used it yet, but I've read so much here about people worrying about losing their pictures (because they're concerned that the pictures will be removed from all devices if they just delete, this can even help them.
Please note we have not bought it yet. And please read the reviews in the itunes store before you decide. From what I read, a few are still concerned about the deleting issue, but transfering pictures out of your ipad to make space with this app will only transfer them, not delete them.

I have just got an iPad and I want the music to be transferred through my iPod touch using iCloud but I didn't get the music from iTunes so I don't think it will let me do it. Do you have any tips that could help me?
Only photos taken with the iPad, copied onto it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites etc can be deleted directly on the iPad - either via the trashcan icon in the top right corner if viewing the photo in full screen, or via the icon of the box with the arrow coming out of it in thumbnail view.
Photos that were synced from a computer are deleted by moving/removing/de-selecting them from where they were synced from and then re-syncing. If you want to remove them all then normally you could just sync an empty folder (in terms of photos) to the iPad, but as you don't want to sync at the moment you can't do that.
You can reset the iPad back to factory settings and start from scratch with it : Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content And Settings -

I have the following situation:
I've upgraded to Mountain Lion recently, and I decided to install a fresh copy (hence, backed up all the important data on my Mac)
However, after switching on the PhotoStream on the freshly installed iPhoto, I'm only able to see several of my photos. I'm sure that I saw many of my photos (e.g. from 2011) in my iPhoto's PhotoStream section, and I never copied them anywehre else (but still used to see them there).
Does it mean that if I never copied some of my older photos to my real HDD or to other drives, they are lost forever?

my ipad is in recovery mode that failed,it shows the progress bar but is frozen. Itunes shows the wrong name for the Ipad but the correct account.
You're gonna have to restore the iPhone from your last backup with iTunes. You did do a backup before you attempted to update the software didn't you?

how do i find which Apple ID is associated with music in my iTunes? When I sync with my iPad and iPhone it tells me I have music, apps etc from more than five IDs. I am asked for PW for a number of now extinct accounts.
Go to Settings/icloud. The Apple ID at the top of the screen is the only one you need to be concerned about. That one MUST be a working ID, and you must know the password for it, or you will be unable to use the phone if it ever crashes, you want to update it, or you want to sell it.
