Itunes showing up in all black
when i open my itunes it comes up ALL BLACK!!!!
i sign in and out but nothing works

You need to authorize the new computer that youre working with. First hover over the store button at the top of the screen and then select the authorize this computer button then a popup will appear where you have to put in your Apple ID and Password. Hopefully this works for you

IPhone 4s images show up as all black in iPhoto
I have tried downloading photos taken on the phone to my computer through the USB as well as enabled photostream to automatically download them but a number of my pictures show up as black boxes when in iPhoto. On the phone's camera roll they are there and viewable but blank black frames in iPhoto. I am not shooting with the HDR feature and some pictures do show up and others don't. I've deleted the photos from iPhoto and tried redownloading them a few times and nothing works , How can I resolve this?

W.Select the library in iPhoto Library Manager and click the Options button on the right
Select "Read & Write" in the "Owner" pop-up menu and click the "Apply Permissions Now" button. This will make your library folder readable and writable. Then click "Done".
Note that if the library in question is owned by another user on the machine, you may not be able to successfully reset the permissions for the library. In that case, you'll need to log in as the user that owns the library and try again.
Open the library in iPhoto and see if it now can read your album data
If you have an iPhoto library that is corrupt and causing iPhoto to crash or otherwise be unusable, iPhoto Library Manager provides the ability to rebuild your library based on the information found in its AlbumData.xml file. Select the library you want to rebuild and choose the "Rebuild Library" command from the File menu. After choosing a location to store the rebuilt library, iPhoto Library Manager will proceed to try rebuilding the library as best as it can based on the available data.
There are some cases in which the data for the library is either damaged or incomplete that will cause a rebuild to fail.

Error 1604
This error is often related to USB timing. Try changing USB ports, using a different dock connector to USB cable, and other available USB troubleshooting steps (troubleshooting USB connections. If you are using a dock, bypass it and connect directly to the white Apple USB dock connector cable. If the issue persists on a known-good computer, the device may need service.
If the issue is not resolved by USB isolation troubleshooting, and another computer is not available, try these steps to resolve the issue:
Connect the device to iTunes, confirm that the device is in Recovery Mode. If it's not in Recovery Mode,put it into Recovery Mode.
Restore and wait for the error.
When prompted, click OK.
Close and reopen iTunes while the device remains connected.
The device should now be recognized in Recovery Mode again.
Try to restore again.
If the steps above do not resolve the issue, try restoring using a known-good USB cable, computer, and network connection.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I took a layered .PSD and animated the layers using standard keyframes over a stationary white background layer. I have done many projects like this, and for some reason this one will not export. Keeps showing up as all black... and when i try to play through it, it will not play at the normal speed but plays

If you want to convert this video to MP4, you can do it with Adobe Media Encoder which is installed free with Captivate 5. Inside the Adobe Media Encoder, you need to select H.264 as the format. The select one of the suitable preset to get MP4 output.

Does anybody know why my ipod touch 3rd generations screen does not work show anything? The screen is all black like it is switched off, but my ipod synchronises to my iTunes library. It is fully charged. Please Help!!!

Itunes doesn't list all of my recent podcasts. My show is Black Tribbles and it only shows episodes through March 2013, however we do at least two shows a week and they aren't listed. The feed works because the show update to my computer. Help please.

When subscribed to in iTunes the recent episodes show, but the Store hasn't updated for some time.
There appears to be an issue with the feed. In the episode 'WRESTLING MARCH MADNESS: Final Bracket & Championship' of 31st March you will find in the 'description' tag the following line:
4. KURT ANGLE
At the end of this line is an invisible character which seems to be wrecking the feed - although it works OK when suscribing in iTunes it won't load in a browser (and I also found the feed very slow to load, which won't help matters with the Store)
This sort of thing usually happens when you paste text in from a word processing application and manage to include one of the invisible control characters. I don't know how easy it will be do do it in Podomatic but you should delete that entire line and retype it to remove this charter.
You should keep an eye on the time it takes the feed to be accessed - if there is a long enough delay (and it was quite some seconds when I tried) the Store may well timeout and fail to read it. At the moment it's showing a cached version from the last time it was able to read it. -
Does anybody know why my ipod touch 3rd generations screen does not show anything? The screen is all black constantly. iPad is not responding. It ONLY shows an iTunes icon and a USB cable in the middle of an all black screen. I have tried to reset it manually and via iTunes (not responsive), linked it to iTunes (not recognized), etc. Nothing works. This happened after an iTunes updated, after I was asked to "restore" my iPad to factory settings.
Thanks, King_Penguin. Yes, I tryied putting the iPad into recovery mode. It freezes in the black screen with the iTunes and USB cable. When I followed the instructions and then started iTunes, I received the following message: "A required iTunes component is not installed. Please repair or reinstall iTunes (-424040)".
I have unistalled iTunes three times already and donloaded and installed three new versions. No luck.

Ipod shows black artwork while itunes shows correct picture
Hi! I've pasted the artwork to several whole albums on my ipod and itunes shows them correctly when i click on "Get Info" but when I eject the ipod - the ipod shows somehow just black covers; I've tried different artworks but for those several albums the artwork remains always black ...
What else can I do?

BFPlug in the iPod, uncheck the box to show artwork on the iPod then sync the iPod (all artwork will be removed from the iPod).
When it is done, reselect that check box and sync the iPod again (all artwork added to iPod).
This often times clears up display issue with artwork on the iPod.

When I plug in iPhone (5.1.1) to computer, playlists show up on the iPhone (when plugged in), that do not appear when it is not plugged in. And I can't erase them. I have iTunes match, and deleted all my music on the iPhone, but that had no effect on the phantom playlist that shows up on the PC when I plug in the iPhone to the PC. I cannot manually move songs or playlists from the PC to the iPhone
Help greatly appreciated.Unplug your Iphone out of your computer and replug it back in. It took me several times before I could do this

I downloaded CD's to my itunes library. I have itunes match. All my itunes purchased music is on my ipad and iphone cloud. For some reason, while the cloud appears in my library, the CD's that I downloaded (popular ones that itunes recognize) are not showing up on my ipad2 and my iphone4s. When I purchase songs from itunes directly they show up on all i devices (with the cloud icon). In my itunes library all the new downloads from CD's have the icloud icon. However, none of these downloads are showing up on my ipad and iphone as stated above. All my settings are correct. I am sure I am missing something, but not sure what....if anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it. thanks.

IPod Nano isn't showing up at all in iTunes.
My ipod hasn't been showing up at all in itunes. I've tried it on a few different computers including the one I got all my music off of in the past but all it does is charges like it's hooked up to a wall charger.

I've upgraded to OS 10.8.2 and my Bowers and Wilkins MM-1 Speakers were working fine until today, and now they won't play any sound at all, even though iTunes shows the audio is playing. I've tried both the headphone jack and the USB port. Please help! I don't want to have to be stuck using my internal speakers!

Thanks. I haven't mixed down the audio or checked the number of tracks in Prefs. Good points.
As far as a mixdown goes, I'll definitely give it a try, though I wonder whether or not the tracks will be recognized during mix down recording - given that you can't hear either of those segments in playback. Just have to try.
Re the preferred number of allowed tracks - I'll go check as soon as I send this off, but I'm not sure that applies in this case, since the two Channels containing the segments that are pinked out are not in additional tracks. I should have mentioned that other audio clips and segments on the same Channels in the SAME tracks ARE heard in playback. As are two additional track in the 2nd Sequence. It's only when the two sequences are joined that the pink tinted segments can't be heard. Within the sequence the same audio cuts playback as they should. Thanks again &
