Itunes shows a fault and it has to be closed
when i try to open itunes then it says 'itunes has a fault and it needs to be closed down' i don't know what to do.
i tryd uninstalling in and reinstalling it but it still shows the same mistake...
if anybody here can help me or show a usefull topic about this problem

I have encountered the same exact problem with my itunes. I have read that you need to have quicktime installed for itunes to work: I ran the unistall for itunes and quicktime and it tells me that it has been successfully removed. Then I go to try to install the "only quicktime" option and it starts installing but cannot finish because "a newer version of quicktime is already installed and must be removed before the installation can be completed." Even with quicktime unistalled it is still showing the little quicktime icon on the bottom right side, but you can't get any response right clicking on the icon and choosing options. Any ideas on how I can get rid of this quicktime that keeps running in the background. I had itunes on this hard-drive before but needed to reinstall xp for this new computer that the hard drive is now in.

iTunes shows the music and audiobooks I've loaded to my iPod Touch, but they do not show up when I try to play them. I reconnect to iTunes and it shows the music and books as being loaded on my iPod.
Sometimes the audiobook will play, then disappear from iPod's play menu after I reconnect to iTunes and load more music. I've got plenty of free memory, and iTunes shows the files still on iPod.
....or should I just roll it back to iOS 5... never had these kinds of issues with the old OS.Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync/delete all AB and resync
To delete all ADgo to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Manage Storage>AB and try deleting them from there
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

Xp pc will not let me open the itunes store it faults and closes the store or tutorials
Dell XP will not let me reach the store or act on any tutorials. It faults and closes the shortcut to Itunes. I have the most current Qtime and just downloaded the store program.. According to the apple test for the store everything is up and running but it will not connect.

I've had the same thing happen when I tried to enter my YouTube username & password. It wouldn't accept it. I thought it was a fluke w/YouTube. Apparently not so.
So, I can't buy or rent movies/TV shows. Exactly why do I want this gadget?
How about an update on the Apple site that just recognizes these problems & promise a fix?

Itune shows 6 gigs loaded but has nothing on it

Itunes shows local song AND the Icloud/Imatch Version but wont play cloud version....
Downloaded latest Itunes.. I now see this weird behaviour on my Itunes music list .. I see the downloaded song then right below I see the Icloud version.. If i let it play it looks like it will play the version on the MAC and then the Icloud version... but it never 'finds' the icloud version to play it.. I have tried tiurning Match off and on but it still shows the same..

Hello my name is Juan and I own an iPod touch, the newest one, and I rented 2 movies the other day in itunes through the ipod and I was able to download one movie and watch it but the with the other one I havent watched...it downloaded it and watched like 3 minutes of it then I had to download it again but it had already expired but it's still in the download page in iTunes and it says error to download tap again to retry and I did but it didn't work so I don't know what to do...is there anyway I can take it out of my download page? Because its takin to much space in my iPod >_<

Itunes shows error 42032 and 4S not recognized
I bought an iphone 4s an trying to synchronize to my outlook, first, my iphone is not recognize by my pc (using Vista), a tech suggested to delete my old version of itune et re-load it again. The re-load seems to work but a message error 42032 appears ? So now nothing works? any suggestions?
I found my reply by deleting all files related to itunes (6 in total) and re-loaded again itunes and quick view. not it works!

My iTunes opens fine if it is the first time I have opened it since turning my computer on. If I close iTunes, however, it won't open again unless I restart my computer. No error message appears. Clicking on both the shortcut and file in iTunes folder does nothing. I unistalled iTunes and reinstalled it but the issue hasn't gone away. A virus scan has come up with nothing. I would appreciate any ideas that might help to fix this issue.
Having the same problem - am running Win 7 Pro 32 bit. Discovered that when you close iTunes task manager shows that iTunes.exe is still running and will not close unless you reboot. I have also found that after starting Win 7 that if I launch iTunes by inserting a CD, the CD plays and displays all tracks correctly. However, if I eject the CD and insert a different one neither Win 7 or iTunes recognises the CD. These problems seem to have started with the release of 10.5.2 - prior to that no problems at all. Have tried reinstalling and it does not make any difference.

Tried to update my ipad to OS7 through itunes but my screen has frozed on "terms and conditions" and I can neither agree nor disagree. I can't go back or forward. Cannot reload it as it says my OS is up to date.

I have updated itunes to 10.5 then without looking at the store or anything synced my phone, it then said IOS 5 was availible so I just did the "download and upgrade" option as usual. I now have the phone connected to itunes and it just´says Iphone on the left bar and when I click on that the large window just says the same, it will not let me restore my phone or access the store. The phone is just saying connect to itune, which it already is and will not allow me to my home screen. I have no idea what to do but am desperate for my phone for work. PLEASE HELP!!!
It took about an hour to upgrade my iphone. You're also left a couple of times with a blank screen on the iphone whilst it does things in the background which is a bit confusing. Suggest you wait - it starts doing things again (like reload your apps and then your photos etc) after you think it's finished. It's finished only when it says it is.....

Why has my iTunes account been disabled and why has support failed to reenable it?
On April 17, 2011, I discovered that my iTunes account had been disabled when I tried to update apps that I had purchased. Repeated emails to iTunes support have failed to reenable the account, and now several of my apps are unusable because I cannot get the necessary updates. I have not violated any terms of the agreement, and I have paid for all my purchases with a valid credit card. I cannot help wondering whether this issue is going to be resolved or if I am going to simply lose the money I have spent purchasing these various apps. I purchased the apps in good faith, and I am very disappointed in the service I have received from a company I trusted. At the very least, I have been greatly inconvenienced by the company's denying me services for which I have paid.

I received a message to update itunes on my iphone but like others on here my phone is frozen. I have learned from some posts that I am to connect to my computer and it will update but it may take several tries. I connected and my computer said I would lose all of my current information on my iphone but I could get it back. I have pictures on there that I do not want to lose. Help
No one here could possibly know if your phone is dead or not.
Let it dry for a few more days and try it.
