ITunes Sign-In and Match Not Working
Hi there,
I've got an incredibly annoying issue which I would very much like to resolve with iTunes;
Every time I open iTunes I am asked for my ID/PW, and even after entering it, my whole library, all of which is in the iCloud (I'm using an SSD), is greyed out and unplayable until I deactivate/reactivate Match.
I thought this was an issue with my Mac, but I've just bought a new MBA and exactly the same thing is happening fresh from the box.
I'm running OS X 10.8.2 and iTunes 10.7.
Any ideas/tips/suggestions or fixes for this?

30 sec internet time-out is not enough for itunes servers so changing it to 2 or more minutes solves the problem.
It's very annoying and quite embarrassing that apple support doesn't know about it when you ask for help and they suggest to reinstall itunes, rebuild library (loose ratings) etc.

Itunes, ipod, photos and cotracts not working after safari crash
My Iphone is about 2 weeks old. It was working fine until 2 days ago. I was browsing when safari crashed. I restarted safari and continued surfing. Later I went into ipod to listed to some music. The songs were on the screen but the ipod game an "unable to play" message. I shut down the iphone and started it up again. This time when I try to go into ipod it just crashes back to the spring board. when I click on Itunes it does the same thing. I clicked on photos and there no photos. turned on the camera and took a couple of Pictures. I looked at the camera roll and they showed up as just outlines of blank icons. Cicking on the icons gives an all black screen. Going out of the camera then into photos shows no pictures.
I called Tech support and was told to do a restore. I then plugged the Iphone into the dock and was not recognized by itunes. Interestingly Iphoto does recognize it but not itunes.
I am baffled at this point.By any chance did you buy any music from the iTunes wifi store before this happened? I am having problem that sounds similar; but in my case the iPod function shows "no content", and all photos are gone; but notes, calendar and contacts are intact. I also cannot get iTunes to recognize my iPhone to do a sync or restore.

all i get when i turn it on is a loading screen with a picture of a charger going into an ITUNES sign? HELP nothing will work not interactive at all.aince updating to I.O.S7.0.2???

Try a Restart.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Resetting your settings
You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.
Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Apple recommends this only if you are unable to restart it.
Or if this doesn't work and nobody else on the blog doesn't have a better idea you can contact Apple.

You are not addressing Apple here. The software is not mine. When you signed up to this forum you no doubt saw that it is a USER forum and we are all users like you. Now if you can put your ranting aside and ask your question clearly you might get some kind user to volunteer a solution for you

How can I get my itunes onto my new laptop? Do I need to download itunes again or can I just copy it? My ipod classic has since been soaked in water and does not work so I cannot copy from there. Can anyone help?
You should copy everything from your old comptuer to your new one.

Disconnect the iPad, do a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. The screen will go blank and then power ON again in the normal way.] It is 'appsolutely' safe!, reconnect and follow the prompts.

I attempted to perform the itunes update on two different PCs. Itunes will no longer open and prompted me to reinstall itunes. The reinstall did not work after several attempts and I received an error: "Runtime error R6034. An application has made an attempt to load the C Runtime library incorrectly. Please contact the application's support team for more information." Has anyone else had this issue? How can I resolve it?
I've been having the same exact problem this morning, and from the looks of it a lot of other people are posting about this issue, so I don't know if it's maybe something wrong with the download but I'm just relieved that it seems to be that instead of a corruption issue with my windows installation. I'm just wondering how long this will take to be resolved.

I downloaded the newest verion of itunes. Now quicktime is not working...error 2096. I have uninstalled and reinstalled itunes. still nothing. i have read countless other people having the same issue. What is the problem?????

That one is often a compatibility mode problem. Try the following document, only be sure that none of the boxes in the compatibility mode tab are checked (not just the compatibility mode box itself):

I backed up my Iphone to itunes so i can do the new Update to IOs 7 and so now that i updated it i want to backup and restore and its not working, Please help!
An iPhone backup to a computer via iTunes stores the photos in a backup file that is only meant to be be used if needed to restore back to the phone. There is 3rd party "extractor" software available but otherwise the photos are not directly viewable.
The backup via iTunes was a good idea and your Camera Roll photos should be there and should be able to be restored to your new phone. However if it was me I wouldn't rely on that alone. I would also import the photos to a computer where you can see and verify that you have a copy. That is a good idea at any time (not just when you know you might need it). Any phone can be lost, broken, suffer hardware issues, etc at any time and lose all data on it. i restored my iphone 3gs to factory settings and now when i turn it on it says to connect it to itunes well i tried that and its not working then i tried to hold the power button for three seconds then the home button for ten seconds but still nothing please help asap

As of today, neither sample songs on the music store nor songs already downloaded will play correctly. They are stuttery and slow. I have iTunes 10.5 and have not downloaded any upgrades for anything recently. They were working last night. Thoughts or advice?
I found a solution that worked for me. Here is what I did and where I found it.
"Looks like I tracked down the problem, it worked for me so I hope this works for everyone else experiencing problems. Go to your Task Manager and locate the program APSDaemon.exe (Apple Push)..... if you see this executing terminate the program and then startup iTunes and it should come up fine. You will see afterwards that APSDaemon.exe (Apple Push) starts back up but this is fine as long as iTunes has already started.
I tried playing both music and syncing up my iPhone with no problems. Note if you shutdown iTunes again you will have to terminate the process APSDaemon.exe (Apple Push) again. Haven't had time to see what in the world Apple Push is but this appears to have corrected the problem so that you can at least use iTunes and sync any device that needs to be synced.
