ITunes Sign-in Requirement Loop [Macbookpro on Yosemite] [Radio, Match, & Download]

When I try to use my iTunes for any of the three items, it prompts me to sign in again & again.
- Radio, Match, & music/ app Download
I tried deleting iTunes & reinstalling it, updating it to latest iTunes on Yosemite (had same issue with older iTunes & on Maverick)
I love iTunes Match but if I cannot access it, I will cancel my subscription. Please help me fix this.
Thank you,
Keith Smith

If you don't sign out of iTunes or turn off match, you should not need to sign in each time. Do you routinely clear cookies from Safari? If so, this could be your problem as iTunes cookies that keep sign in info are kept there.

  • "Sign in Required" Loop

    Hi!
I stopped my subscription of my Creative Cloud and started it again a few days later, because of the new price for educational people. After that, I can not use Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. because I get an "Sign In Required" Loop. Every time I want to start Photoshop the window opens and wants me to sign in. I click "Sign In", it says "Thank You" and I continue and the window appears again. I already tried the "(Not your Adobe ID?)" link and it didn't help.
Is there any solution or has anyone the same problem?

I had a similar problem. Every time I opened a CC App, I was asked to sign in. I followed instructions on several forums, but nothing worked.
Yesterday I got in touch with Adobe Help and together we spent over two hours trying to resolve the problem. I have to say Khongyairong (the guy I was dealing with) was very helpful but we ran out of time as I had to go out.
Today, I decided to remove every single trace of Adobe from my Mac. I followed these steps and all now works as it should!
Please note the order – uninstall apps first, then run cleaner, then manually remove any left over files.
Warning: You will delete all Adobe files from your computer. If you are using any Adobe products other than Creative Cloud please make sure you check every file before deleting it – if it's not related to CC don't delete it! You might want to make a snapshot of your system that you can restore to before doing this. If there is more than 1 user on the Mac make sure they don't have Adobe products that could be effected by the following process.
Use the Uninstallers for each App you have (uninstallers can be found in Applications/Adobe *App Name*/Uninstall Adobe *App Name*
Check Applications/Utilities for any other Adobe Uninstallers and run them
Use Creative Cloud Cleaner to remove everything else (I was given the download from Khongyairong so don't have the link)
Select 'All' from the dropdown menu, top-right.
    Click 'Clean All'
At this point I restarted my Mac but it may not be necessary.
Go to /Library/Application Support and delete the entire Adobe folder (I also deleted the Macromedia folder too, but I think this is just for Flash Player)
Go to /Library/Caches and delete all folders and files with 'Adobe' in the name
Go to (User) ~/LibraryApplication Support and delete the entire Adobe folder
Go to /Users/Shared/Library/Application Support and delete the entire Adobe folder (if you have more than one user set up make sure they are not using Adobe products that will not function correctly if you delete this folder)
At this point I searched my entire computer for any other files or folders with Adobe in the name and deleted them
There was also a Photoshop folder in one of the Librarys (can't remember which but check in both) I deleted that too
I emptied the trash and restarted here and would recommend the same
At this point I could have started installing the software again, but I took some extra steps which involved 3rd party software. I use Onyx which is a very good tool to clean up OS X system. You can use this or something similar to do the following:
Reset home folder permissions and ACLs
    Clear system and user caches
During the Onyx processes I was promted to restart my Mac a couple of times. Once all that was completed my Mac was booting up a fraction quicker than before (which was a nice bonus).
    Fresh installs
I then went to creative.adobe.com, signed in and downladed Creative Cloud Desktop App – nothing else.
I installed CC desktop, signed in and initially downloaded 1 app (in my case Photoshop), opened it and waited... no window requesting sign in!!!!
I double checked, by quiting and reopening Photoshop – all seemed good!
I was then able to install other CC Apps (one by one just be sure) from the Creative Cloud App and every one of them works withut being promted to sign in!
Hope this works for you, I've seen this issue a lot and was very happy to have a solution to share it with others!

  • Trapped in infinite 'Sign in required' loop

Since 2-3 days I can't download anything from iTunes Store. I'm trapped in an infinite 'Sign in required' repetition. I always sign in and click 'buy' and the 'Sign in required' pop-up opens again ... this is really frustrating!!

  • Re: "Sign in Required" Loop

I had the same problem on a PC. After a couple hours with Adobe TS I called Dell TS support and we solved the problem. Had a rouge program in Firefox that was trying to reconfigure my proxy settings. Deleted it. Went into my control panel and deleted some programs that were downloaded in the last couple days. Downloaded Malwarebytes Anti-malware software, ran it to double check my Microsoft Security essentials and all is well.

Go to Firefox - Tools - Options - Advanced - Settings. Check if if No proxy is checked. If there is a proxy make note of its name, delete it and check No proxy. I'm not up on Mac's so if there is a freeware virus checked on the web I'd run it. Hope this helps you.

  • Premiere Elements 12 endless loop of "Sign in Required' popup

I received a license  (Volume Licensing serial number) for Adobe Photoshop and installed. Whenever I try to use the editor, I get in an endless loop of "Sign in Required' popup. I sign in with my Adobe ID, and then nothing happens.  Chatted with Adobe with no resolution.  Our IT folks thought it might be a firewall issue, but it is not.  Been struggling with this for over a month, and need to use the product.
Any ideas on how to resolve this?
    Thanks.

Do you have enough funds in your bank account?
otherwise iTunes sometimes black lists card if there are too many fradulent purchases
Reason why they might black list a card is possibly you call in for alot of fradulent purchases
One more reason can be because iTunes does actually limit the amount you can change payment methods

Refusal of a card is based on information provided matching what is on file from your credit card provider. If it is refused, it generally means something is not matching. That can inclue the name, the address or other information. It has to be exact to match. If you check your credit card bill to make sure you are spelling the name correctly, the address is listed correctly, and yes, ST is different than Street, and it still does not work, contact iTunes support. http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html

  • Sign In Required message when buying song on iPod?

I wanted to buy a song on my iPod via iTunes, as I have done many, many times before. But it won't let me; every time I tap the price to buy it, it prompts me to sign in as usual, which I do; and then it gives me this message:
"Sign-in required: Tap continue and sign in to view billing information."
Even though I just signed in. There is not a continue button, there is only an OK button, which, if I tap it, just takes me back to the iTunes search results. All my billing information is correct, nothing has changed since I last bought a song on my iPod, and I also have about $20 of iTunes gift card balance in my account, so there should not be any billing issues. And I just bought a song on it 4-5 days ago with no problem, and I really haven't used it much this week so nothing should have changed.
Anybody have an idea of what is going on?!?

Hmm... and you don't have this issue when trying to purchase the song on your computer correct?
Maybe try resetting all of your iPod's Settings. To do this head to *Settings -> General -> Reset* and tap *Reset all Settings*. From there, if still no luck, it might be a good idea to go and restore your iPod via iTunes.

  • HT201210 My iPod constantly shows the 'connect to iTunes' sign, how to fix this?

My iPod is showing the 'connect to iTunes' sign, even when I connect to iTunes and do everything it says to do. I have repeated this process several times and still no change. • ITunes Sign In To Use This Computer / iTunes crashes / iTunes restarts

I have been having this problem on and off for a very long time now, through at least one major update of the iTunes software. I recently purchased an album from the iTunes store and the problem has returned. I've searched the forums for advice and got a lot of very weird advice. None of it helped.
The problem is: when I start my MacBook Pro (12 months old, all OS patches installed 10.7.3), iTunes 10.6 starts then request that I "Sign In To Use This Computer for Automatic Downloads." iTunes does not recognize my password; displays a slightly different dialog screen that says "Sign In Required," then back to "Sign In To Use This Computer for Automatic Downloads," which repeats and repeats then switches to the other dialog "Sign In Required," then back to "Sign In To Use This Computer for Automatic Downloads," et cetera. If you cancel out, which it accepts after hitting cancel three times, then navigate to the iTunes Store, the iTunes Store starts to load, then iTunes crashes, asks you if you want to send a report to Apple (I've personally sent at least a 100 of these already), then iTunes restarts. You can't kill it - if you force quit, it restarts immediately.
Any suggestions other than Authorizing / Deauthorizing / Deleting the SC Info Folder?

I have this same problem iMac Lion 10.7.3, iTunes 10.6.1(7). Any ideas what I can do to stop it?
