Hi guys,
I know this is probably something people ask alot but if i could just get someones help id really appreciate it.
My iTunes suddenly won't open.. for no reason i can find.
It bounces up and down in the dock as if it is going to and then just stops.
I think its iTunes 7.3
(I don't get any error message)

Olliefor the record, I second this. Mine is not opening either, though I do get the chance for a Crash report and my error says this (below). are you getting the same report? definitely try wping out itunes and reinstalling - i did it, but it didn't work. i also just had a new battery ut in, which corresponds to when this stopped working.

Got new ATV and all set up. It keeps loosing connection with iTunes on laptop and have tried everything suggested in set up guide. It works fine for a while then the iTunes account vanishes from 'computer' menu TV screen. Full Wifi signal on both devices so can't think what could be causing it to happen. Any suggestions please?
Sorry, I updated another thread I was a part of but didn't update my own thread.....ughhh!
I updated all of my ATV 2's and 3's to the latest firmware when it was released and have been problem free since. I do believe the major issue of not being able to connect after a period of inactivity has been corrected with the latest ATV firmware.
I can look at my network connection table using "netstat -an" in a CMD window and I do not see the massive number of connections I saw before the update.

Try closing all apps in Multitask Window
1. Double tap the home button to bring up the multi-tasking view
2. Swipe up on the screenshot of the app you want to exit.

Firefox will not start up ive tried everything even uninstalling it and it wont do that either

One of your add-ons might be the culprit. Try running Firefox in [[Safe Mode]]. If that solves the problem, see [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] and possibly [[Troubleshooting plugins]]

Normal browser is Safari but want to use Firefox for something that it apparently runs better on.

i have been trying to download and intsall the latest version of i tunes, however i tunes will not install because quicktime is not up to date. Running Windows 7, iTunes used to work fine but now I click on the icon and it just won't open: no error message or explanation, it's just as though it's ignoring my request to open it.
Have looked on the Internet for possible solutions and tried deleting/reinstalling it at least 3 times, all of the suggestions on the 'Support' page such as deleting the '.info' files in the program files, running as Administrator, trying it on new user accounts and attempting to run it in Safe mode, nothing works. I set my default music player to iTunes and tried playing music files but that doesn't open iTunes or play the music files. Would love if someone could help me with this!Hi,
I had a similar problem (itunes appcrash), I tried to delete everything, but by following really step by step this tutorial (link below), I managed to delete EVERY itunes file and component. Once your computer cleaned, just download back itunes. I hope it will work for u.

Reinstalling
Uninstalling then Reinstalling QuickTime
Booting into SafeMode and deleting the potention malware with 4 to 6 digit letters
Disabling Norton
Deleting the file in the SC INFO folder
If you know of any other methods let me know - my iTunes just appears then dissapears and I haven't installed anything new I just opened it when I got home from school and it did that.Found it. Solved my problem...I had a nagging feeling it might have had something to do with spyware for some reason.
