ITunes stays hidden

My apologies if this issue has already been brought up....
I am on a first-gen MacBook running 10.5.2, and iTunes 7.6.2. iTunes periodically will not open. The program is running, according to the indicator light on the Dock and the iTunes menu bar shows, but the window will not open. Music will still play if I use Quicksilver. I have tried quitting and force quitting, but even after I open it back, I still can't get a window... The only thing that I have found to fix it is to restart or log out and log in again.
If if makes any difference in anything, I frequently connect a 30gb 5th-gen iPod and an iPhone.

EVDRE u0096 Column Keys staying hidden on multiple expansions

I have an EVDRE that has two membersets and two Column Key Ranges. I also have the Hide Column Key option selected. When the first expansion member list either increases or decreases upon re-expand and the original second Column Key Range stays hidden.
Before Expansion

RowKeyRange     sheet1!T33:V64,sheet1!T73:V85
ColumnKeyRange sheet1!W28:IV32,sheet1!W69:IV72
After Expansion
PageKeyRange    sheet1!C4:sheet1!C20
RowKeyRange     sheet1!T33:V107,sheet1!T116:V128
ColumnKeyRange   sheet1!W28:IV32,sheet1!W112:IV115
The second column key range is below the first data range. When members are added or removed from the first memberlist, the original second column key range's rows W69:IV72 remain hidden and the new second column key range's rows W112:IV115 are also hidden. Except now the original column key rows now contain data not column keys.
I need to know how to make the original second Column Key Range unhide with every re-expansion.

If I understand the issue you have written, the following information may assist you in a solution.
How the key of a cell is built
The full key (current view) of a cell is ultimately controlled by EvDRE overlaying onto each cell the definitions of a current view as defined by any combination of the following settings:
1)     The system current view, as defined in the Current View bar
2)     The workbook current view, as parked in the workbook options, if set.
3)     The page current view, as defined in the PageKeyRange, if existing.
4)     The column current view, as defined in the ColumnKeyRange
5)      The row current view, as defined in the RowKeyRange
6)     The cell current view, as defined in the CellKeyRange
These definitions, if in conflict, take precedence from the lowest to the highest in the above list (The cell key, if existing, wins on the row key, that wins on the column key, that wins on the page key, etc.).
So, I think that if you keep the column key range of the 2nd set on the same rows as the 1st set as a relative reference, you should have a positive result, since the 2nd set of ranges create the point of intersection data retrival. Otherwise, you may need to consider using 2 evdre statements. If fact, if the data from the columns is in different catgories, or time members, you may want to consider this approach to develop a faster query.

MS Project Enterprise Custom Toolbars are not staying hidden

In MS Project Enterprise 2007 I have created some custom toolbars. When I hide a custom toolbar and then close project and reopen project they are back to being visible. I thought that there may have been an issue with the global.mpt file so
I have deleted the Global.mpt file and let it be recreated and it does not help. Is there any way to get the custom toolbars to stay hidden when a user hides them and gets out and then logs back in or what has happened to make them keep reappearing?
I have hidden them with VBA and they reappear also. I know I can do it with VBA each time but not every user wants the toolbar hidden and it would make sense to me that if I hide a toolbar I do not want it to automatically come back each time I start
Project. Oddly if it is a standard toolbar it will stay hidden. It concerns me that maybe we created the toolbars incorrectly but I am not sure what we may have done that would cause this issue.
Also this does not just happen on my PC, others I have asked also have the issue. Is there something special about custom toolbars that would be causing the issue?

Trying to Hide a Shared Calendar (It Won't Stay Hidden)

This happens in the icloud.com interface. I try and remove the checkmark beside several of my calendars, leaving only one visible. All stay hidden except the one that is shared to me by another iCloud member. That calendar keeps unhiding itself and showing in the calendar display.
What am I doing wrong?
I am in the page using Firefox on a PC, but this behavior seems to happen in other browsers too.

Story allows for project level sharing. But once the project is shared, all the scripts within the project are shared with the user.
You can share the project with your partner either as co-author or writer depending on the control you want.
The writer has limited permissions and cannot perform the following actions:
See drafts of episodes authored by other writers
Create or view reports and schedules
See the lists assigned to the current project
Share, archive, or rename a project shared with them
See edit notifications for documents created by other users. In particular, users in this role will see the following notifications:

Beginning playback from keyboard while iTunes is hidden

If you begin playback using the Play/Pause button on your keyboard while iTunes is hidden, the current track and all its related info will not show up in the bit at the top. Clicking on other tracks does not seem to fix the problem. Anyone else experiencing this?

I found out it was my keyboard's software. If you have a different keyboard it may still be the cause.
This worked for me nicely. I can close itunes whenever I want now.

Hello, i have a question on my iphone 4s. I went to a party a few days ago and it had gotten stolen. The next day my friend said that he had found it and it was jaibroken? The phone was on 1 % when i had recieved it. It then died and i plugged it in to the charger. When i plugged it in the apple logo appeared as if it was starting but, it wasnt. The apple logo appeared for about ten seconds and then the screen went black. After that, the connect to itunes screen popped up and will not go away. So now when i take it off of the charger the screen just stays black and wont turn on? I tried connecting it to itunes and restoring it. But it wont even show my phone any more on the side of itunes. I tried restoring it and an error had occured (2001). I have looked up on youtube how to fix this problem and non of them have helped or worked. Its my only phone and i cant even text my girlfriend which bothers me terribly!! Please help me ASAP!!

Fix? Clicking on iTunes makes hidden application appear (usually Adobe Bridge)

Here's what happens: iTunes is playing in the background while I'm working in some application... say, Photoshop. To keep things tidied up, I have other open applications hidden. But if I click on iTunes in the dock to give it focus, or click on the iTunes mini-player (which is set to Always On Top), an unrelated hidden application (usually Adobe Bridge) comes out of Hide mode and takes the vocus. It happens for a while, then stops. I haven't found a pattern.
This bizarre issue has been happening for a long time, through a number of iTunes versions, including the current one.
Any reason why? Any fix?
I'm still using Snow Leaopard, which is a requirement for a while longer.

Playing back music on Itunes stays on 0.00 and counter does not move

Hi When I try to play any music in Itunes the counter stays at zero 0.00 and does not move along. My operating system is XP Pro. This has happened several times in the past and quite frustrating (only a reboot normally fixes it but there has to be a reason why this keeps happening). Music and video plays fine on other media players (same as users in the thread attached). My wife's Itunes also does it and she is running Vista on her laptop. By the way I have the latest Itunes updates/versions etc and have also tried restoring to earlier backups - all without success. It was playing fine the other day with exactly the same updates just not today. Thank you for any help.

Apps that are listed in the app store as free will be free to download (if you have a credit card on your iTunes account then you may get a temporary holding charge on it which should disappear within a few days : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3702). If you don't want to be able to buy any 'extras' within any app after you've downloaded it then turn off In-App Purchases on your devices - on an iPad it's under Settings > General > Restrictions, and I assume it's similar for other devices.

ITunes Store - Hidden Purchases (In Account Details)

I have just updated my details on my itunes and i have been looking through everything to make sure everything is up-to-date and all correct.
I have noticed that i can go into my account and see that there is a section called "iTunes In The Cloud" and in this section there is all my hidden apps that i have downloaded since day one.
Im wondering how its possible to have this as i have never joined or set up iCloud and for any of my apple products and im also wondering how i can delete all these apps as it only gives me a choice to "unhide" them and not delete them.
Are these on my itunes account for ever now ?

Reformatting computer, will itunes stay on manual?

I need to reformat my computer.
Currently my ipod/itunes is on manual mode because I don't have any of my songs stored on my computer, they are only stored on my ipod.
When i reinstall itunes after the reformat, and plug in my ipod, will it stay on manual mode and keep my music on the ipod? or will it switch to default automatic and delete everything from my ipod once itunes is reinstalled?
I want to back up my files to my ipod as well before I reformat.
Please help me, I wasn't sure where to post this and I really need to reformat my computer.

Itunes stays stuck at 0:00

Opened Itunes, clicked on a song, and then nothing happened. Everything was up and running, but every song I tried stayed stuck at 0:00. The audio on the computer is still working, though. I've restarted Itunes and my computer, then uninstalled and reinstalled Itunes, then did a system restore and uninstalled and reinstalled both Itunes and QuickTime. These are all the solutions I have seen so far to fix this problem, but nothing has worked. I have a Dell Inspiron that runs Vista.

I found that my USB connected external speakers were causing the problem. I unplugged them, relaunched itunes (can't remember if i rebooted) and then my music was playing fine. I then plugged the USB speakers back in and they also worked fine.
