ITunes stopped working! What is the solution?

I Tunes stopped working! This is the message that I receive when I try to open the iTunes. I deleted the software and downloaded again on my PC ( Windows 7).
Connecting the iPhone 4 does not open the iTuness automatically.

Ok. This is how I solved the issue. You need to uninstall all components of Itunes softare ( including Quick Time, Bonjoure, Apple Support, basically whatever is labelled as Apple Inc. in the control pnaels> Uninstall programm).
Reinstall the Itunes again. THis solved my problem. I hope it works for all of you.

You need to remove third party plugin and try launching. You should find it in plugins folder either here C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 10\Plug-Ins or C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 10\Locales\en_US\Plug-Ins
Else try skipping the loading of thirdparty plugins like below:
   1. Close Elements.
   2. Launch the Photoshop Elements Welcome Screen and hold down ctrl/cmd + shift as you click Editor/Edit.
   3. Continue to hold the keys until you see a message to skip loading of 3rd party plugins..Click yes and check.

I have already copied my photographs to the a library manager but when I tried to reuse iphoto and import the photos back into iphoto, it would not let me.
You can't "copy" your photos to the "library manager", there is just no way to any such thing.
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

ITunes stopped working while in the middle of playing a song

Have patience with me, I'm new here. :o) I will try to do my best to explain the problem.
I was listening to a playlist on my computer when it stopped playing in the middle of a song. Now I can't play any music in iTunes. I wasn't using the computer for anything at the time, except to listen to music. I wasn't even sitting at the computer at the time, but the internet was on.
I thought maybe the speakers came unplugged or something but that is not the case. The plug is still plugged in and I can still hear sounds and music in my games.
I shut down iTunes and reopened it, but this didn't help. I shut down the computer and rebooted it, but this didn't help either. I have the latest version of iTunes, and I've never had a problem before.
Can somebody please help me fix this, or maybe throw some ideas at me about what could be causing this?

if you shake your ipod and it goes to a new song you are using the shake to shuffle mode, i would turn it off if it is giving you problems. you go to settings, play back, and click on shake so it says off. hope this helps.

HT1329 Hi! My old laptop (on which I had my itunes library) was stolen. I now have a new laptop, but when I plug in my ipod, it won't allow me to download/synch the songs on the ipod to the new laptop/itunes library. What is the solution to this?

Note: this is a Windows (not Mac), in case that makes any difference. When it gives me the option to synch, it informs me that all my old songs currently on my ipod will be erased - which, since I only had them on my old laptop, i don't want to have happen.

iDevices are not and have never been designed as backup devices. Use the backup of the computer to put everything back on the new laptop.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup of your media and other important files, you may be able to get iTunes purchases off the device by the following:
Connect the device but do not sync.
Right click on the device and select Transfer Purchase.
Right click on the device and select Backup.
The above should change the library association and move all iTunes purchases. At this point you should be able to sync the device. Non-iTunes purchases will be lost.

Been using my iPad3 with Reliance in Mumbai for nearly 3 months now. It works great other than the problem with the whole "request handset config" mess.
The ONLY way to resolve is (in my expereince) is to hit cancel as soon as u see it. It will ALWAYS come on when you reboot ipad or "Reset Network Setting". Other than that, it may pop up now or then randomly. If you are luck y enough to spot it when it comes on randomly, hit CANCEL again and things will continue to work fine.
If you missed it, it will go the Sim failure and invalid sim.
In which case you go to settings and "Reset Netwrok Settings", once it reboots and requests handset etc, hit cancel and go on using. Its inconveniant, but if you learn to live with it, it works awesome!
But i rescently got Airtel, they are pretty good too, no such glitches and it supports personal hotspot also on the iPad3 (Reliance does not).

Firefox 3.6.15, Windows 7, clicking on New Tab does not work -- what's the solution?

When I click directly on the + tab at the right of the tabs ("Open a new tab") nothing happens. When I R-click the mouse while hovering over the + tab and select New Tab, nothing happens. In other words, I cannot use the multi-tab capability of Firefox...any ideas on how to fix this?

Try uninstalling the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.

I just got a new HP Win 7 64x Intel i7 computer, installed the latest 64x iTunes etc and tried to move my iPad over. It will synch everything except for photos and videos; it gives the error "iTunes stopped working, program will close" when I try to synch my photos. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall etc. to no avail, it just keeps doing the same thing.
I went back to my old computer 32x machine and successfully re synched and put my photos back on. This seems to indicate that the problem is either with iTunes compatibility with the version of Win 7 on my HP computer or with the iPad compatibility.
Anyone find the solution to this bug?

Lets start with fixing one issue at a time. First, lets try and get iTunes from crashing on you by checking out the article below. It will walk you through opening up in Safe Mode, trying to open iTunes in another user, and even remove iTunes and its associating software and reinstalling it.
