Itunes stops working right after launch

As of yesterday, when i open itunes , a few seconds after opening it stops working and shuts off
I cant do anything to fix I have tried uninstall and reinstall, restroe points, and previous versions,
nothing has worked, please help

If you've already tried a complete uninstall and reinstall try opening iTunes in safe mode (hold down CTRL+SHIFT as you start iTunes) then going to Edit > Preferences > Store and turning off Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases. You may find iTunes will now start normally.

    Can someone please help.  My IPhoneS stopped working right after I did the latest update which was yesterday.  Now, the phone does not work at all.  When turned on, the screen shows a picture of USB cable pointing to the ITunes logo.  I have tried just about everything, and cannot get it working. It's like it is frozon.  My ITunes does not recognize my device.  Cannot dial out either. I desperately need to get it working.  Can someone please help me.

    The update did not do anything.
    AT&T cannot and will not do anything, they do not provide support for iPhones, Apple does.
    The issue is not with the iPhone or iOS if you've reset network settings and tried forgetting the Wi-Fi Network, it is specific to the network.
    Check the settings on the router, try disabling the security settings first... that will clarify the issue is not with the device but rather the Network.

    Did the battery run out of power?  If not, try doing a Reset to "reboot" the iPod

    I just received some horrifying news from Adobe about my production suite.  I just FINALLY learned today that what I've been trying to do for over a week now - CAN'T be done because of compatability issues involving updates of both Adobe & Microsucks Winders!!!  I sincerely hope this is not your problem.  Mine is ALMOST HOPELESS!!  Being in this HOPELESS Obamma economy,,,, leaves NO STIMULUS in which to currently upgrade everything that needs upgraded for me to fully use my INVESTMENT in Adobe Suite - sad, horrible and SICKENING!!!

  • Audio stops working right after login

    Hi everyone, I have a macbook pro 13inch mid 2009 running mac osx 10.7 lion. Few weeks ago the audio stopped working but after few moments and 2 reboots it started to work fine again. Now are 2 days that the problem came back. I tried to reboot multiple times, to reset the nvram and pram, to use headphones (they dont work either) and to kill the process coreaudiod. Still nothing! I know that it is not a hardware problem since the sounds stops working just right after I login (the sound at the start works and on the login screen the audio controllers still emit the sound), the only sound that seems work after the login is the sound of the trash folder when I empty it (weird isnt it?). I know that a osx reinstallation would probably solve the problem but I dont have time for that right now and I dont want to risk to lose some file. Does any of you have any solution?

    System Preferenes > Sound > Output > Internal Speakers
    Make sure that Mute is not enabled.

    Choose the method for:
    "Resetting SMC on portables with a battery you should not remove on your own".
    If you see red light in the headphone port, plug the headphone
    in and out of the port 5 or 6 times to flip the microswitch inside.
    Sound output may be stuck in the digital mode.

    I have not been able to access / watch anything stored on my iTunes on my laptop. every time I click on it I get the following message: ITUNES HAS STOPPED WORKING a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. windows will close the program and notify if a solution is available.
    Can anyone help?  I've tried the QTMovieWin.dll advice but its still not working?

    Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
    It sounds like you have already done some great troubleshooting. Did you remove not only iTunes but all of its components in Windows as well when you reinstalled? When you remove and reinstall iTunes, all components must be removed in order to ensure it works properly when reinstalled. If you have already done this, please let me know. So I became happy that I can now upgrade my iphone. But the events turned to be different.When I connected to iTunes, iTunes stopped working and my iphone did not appear in the iTunes. I uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes after cleaning previous registry of all relatedd components like Quicktime, Bejour,Apple software updates and mobile softwares. I also used msconfig to troubleshoot conflicts in software of Windows 7 ultimate but still my iTunes is not working, when I connect the iphone. If I do not connect the iphone, iTunes is working alright. Can any friend give me some advice how to proceed. I do not like comments like Jailbreaking is illegal and should not have been done. Please advice me what should I do right now. Thanking you all and expecting some valuable suggestions from this expert community.
