Itunes stops working when I try to upload CD

Itunes stops working when I go to type in info on audio cd file prior to download

Ah... interesting. I do have errors in the event log for the Bonjour service for all of the times that I have tried to connect (8 for every time I try to connect). They are on the Vista machine and it says : XXX: ERROR: read_msg errno 10054 (An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.)
The XXX is different number for each of the 8 and includes: 488, 480,476, 472, 468, 464, 460, and 452.
It also has an application error for itunes:
Faulting application iTunes.exe, version 9.2.1.5, time stamp 0x4c47745b, faulting module iTunes.dll, version 9.2.1.5, time stamp 0x4c477437, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x0040efa0, process id 0x12b0, application start time 0x01cb2f69002ea6c0.
So I tried to restart and start Bonjour and that didn't help. I have rebooted and that didn't help either.

Since i have the 10.6 / 10.7 / 11 iTune's version when i try to see my movies, from my library, or movie trailers from iTunes Store, the program stops working... I don't have idea about this problem, what happened?

ITunes stops working when I try to import missing music files

I don't know why, but every time I try to import missing music files into iTunes, a pop up suddenly comes up saying iTunes has stopped working. Does anybody know if it may just be a bug in the program or anything like that? Because of this, I am now having to manually reimport the missing files which takes forever!! Please help!!.

ITunes keeps crashing when I try to watch movies

Since the latest iTunes & Quicktime update, I am unable to watch any of the movies I have downloaded on iTunes. I've completely deleted both iTunes and Quicktime and reinstalled the latest versions of both. When I click to play a video, the movie will not play and I get an error dialogue box that indicates iTunes has stopped working - windows isn't able to detect an error.
I've contacted iTunes/Apple support and they tell me it's a system issue, but there aren't any other problems with my computer. I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate. Any ideas or suggestions would be really helpful!

My itunes stops working when i try to add a music file to the library. how do i fix this?

when I open iTunes and try to add a music file to my library from my computer, I slecet the song and click open and then it just comes up with the error message saying that iTunes has stopped woking and closes the program... ive tried everything- uninstalling and reinstalling the program and even disabling my antivirus software. I have no other ideas about how to fix this?

If you are still having this problem, the fix below takes care of it. It was posted in another conversation by Sony Singh. I did it, rebooted, and all works!!
Copy QTMovieWin.dll from: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
to: C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes

Why does iTunes stop working when I try to type the album name in to submit cd track names?

I have a cd that I'm trying to separate, but whenever I try to type the album name in the submit CD track names box, iTunes freezes, then quits working. Why is it doing this and what can I do to stop it?

Does it happen for any slideshow? Or only for one slideshow with certain images?
Does iPhoto also freeze for a new iPhoto library, if you create a new library with some test images?
If iPhoto only freezes for a certain slideshow, check, if it is one of the photos or videos, that is making the slideshow freeze. Create a new slideshow and add the images one by one, to fnd the one, that cannot be played. Remove it.
If iPhoto only freezes with all slideshows in your current library, repair your iPhoto library. It may have been migrated with permission issues. How did you restore the library, after you wiped your mac and clean-installed?
To repair the library using the First Aid Tools, see Old Toad's post here: Rebuild iPhoto Library, Version 11, see "Fix 1". In your case, I'd start with Repair Permission, the Repair database. Apply the other fixes, if need be.
Post back, if the repair does not help.

I found the file but when I added it to the list for the Data Execution Program to ignore , I received a message that the Program.x86/itunes file must have the DEP on in order to run. Anyone else having this problem ?

ITunes Stops Working when I Sync- Help!

I've posted this on the iPhone forum also, but I thought someone here might could help. iTunes the last couple of days stops working when I try to sync my iPhone. It give me a message to update to the lastest version of iTunes,,, I have the lastest version.... Any suggestions would be appreciated...

Itunes stops working when copying apps during Sync

Hi I am using Itunes 12.01.26 on a Windows 7 PC
My library is saved on a nas server and the network drive is mapped.
I have an ipod 5 and Iphone 5s
Up until october this configuration has works a treat however since about October I have had difficulting in Syncing.
I cannot sync my music - everything i try fails so as a last resort i have tried to restore my devices.
Itunes stops working when it gets to the stage of copying the apps.
I have read a suggested solution to move the library to the local C drive but this does not seem to be reasonable solution particularly as my library is large.

Same problem here with Win 7 64 bit & iphone 4. It all started a few weeks ago with itunes upgrade 10.4.8. After about 20 hours wasted time, uninstalling and re-insstalling all Apple products in the suggested order as suggested on another forum. Still had the same problem. Will sync fine until I check the "videos" tic box. Itunes stops working in the step of "optimizing photos" (????). If I go back and uncheck "videos" tic box, iphone4 will sync just fine. BUT now all my videos previously on my iphone are on the PC. I would like them back on my phone!
I gave up and went to the Apple Store to visit with a Genius. Took my PC and everything with me. It was not from lack of trying, she did all the same stuff I did and checked everything over. Could not fix it. She said it appeared everything on my PC was set corrrectly and the problem was probably with itunes. Said she always waits a little while when updates come out to make sure there are not bugs before putting them on her stuff. Lesson learned.
I hope with Steve Jobs gone, this is not the future of Apple
