ITunes store - 2 iphones password HELP!
OK i'll paint a quick picture.. My wife and I both have iPhones hers a 3gs & mine a iPhone 4. we both have our phones synced to the same computer, different itunes accounts. When I try to update my apps in the app store via my iPhone... It asks for my wifes password??? Even though i am signed into MY account! When I download an app via my iPhone whether it be free or not, it asks me for MY password. it is really doing my head in. have only seemed to have this problem since i upgraded to iPhone 4 from 3gs. pleeeeease someone shed some light on this one for me. cheers.

Try this:
Just go to Edit > Preferences > Parental Control and tick iTunes Store, Allow access to iTunes U and click OK. Try going to the store. Then go back to Preferences and untick iTunes Store.

I'm having the same problem as well. I use keychain access often to remind me of my passwords and was happy (initially) to see one for "iphone backup". When I entered it I got the same error message:
"The password you entered to unlock your iPhone backup file was incorrect. Please try again."
Really frustrating.
I searched many ways online, finally I tried "iPhone Backup Unlocker" to help me unlock encrypted backup password efficiently! -

First problem first
As your iTunes is up to date, remove the SC Info folder. -
My iTunes Store on iPhone comes up with an error [newNullResponse] always when I click the music tab. The movies and tv shows tab works fine. I have tried everything from restarting my phone to turning my account off and on.
Try a different cable and a different charger. If neither fixes it you probably need a new battery. Apple will replace it for $80 in the US; I don't know what the charge is in other locations.

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then the steps half-way down this page should let you reset them : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps half-way down the HT5312 link above to add a rescue email address for potential future use -

Settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID: > sign out then sign in the correct Apple ID. -

More than likely its your router. You need to make sure that the router's firewall, if enabled(most are by default), permits connection to these domains as trusted:

No. Once downloaded to an iOS device it cannot be transferred to another iOS device or computer, & can only be watched on that iOS device.

When looking for an artist on iTunes store for Mac, the search returns no result.
When looking for the same artist (Paddy Milner in the Music store), I can find this artist in iTunes store for iPhone.
I tried another artist (Alice Russell), same thing.
Is there something happening with iTunes store for Mac?After upgrading to iTunes 12 on WinXP it did not connect to Gracenote.
I found this solution.
Solution:
Exit iTunes
Press the WinLogoKey+R
Type in %appdata% and press return
Double click on Apple Computer
Double click on iTunes
Take a back up of the file iTunesPrefs.xml as a precaution (copy to some safe area)
Delete the file iTunesPrefs.xml
Start iTunes again
