ITunes Store Apps (etc) Page Numbers, Wish List For My iTunes Account
Why doesn't the iTunes Store have page numbers under each page of the items (songs, e-books, apps, etc), because with over 200000 apps I will be damned if I am going to go back to the start of each apps category (for example) clicking in increments of 12 apps at a time until I get to app number 7264!!!!!! I WILL JUST STOP USING THE APPS STORE!!!
Some apps have a PRODUCTIVITY button in the left top corner that will take you back to the last apps browsing page you were on, while other apps have a BACK button in the top left corner WHICH TAKES YOU RIGHT BACK TO THE FIRST PAGE OF THE APPS CATEGORY YOU WERE BROWSING, so if you were up to app 734 (for example) you have to click through 64 apps pages JUST TO GET BACK TO THE APP YOU WERE UP TO LAST!!! INFURIATING - BEGGARS BELIEF!?!
WHY CANT I CLICK AN 'ADD TO WISH LIST' BUTTON ON EACH APP PAGE, SO I ALSO DONT HAVE TO BROWSE THROUGH ANOTHER 100 PAGES OF APPS TO FIND THE ONE I LOOKED AT IN MY LAST ISTORE SESSION??????
Hasn't anyone at apple used eBay or amazon???
Update: As of this morning the updates were GONE again, so I'm thinking this may recur on and off until all settles after the launch of new software and iDevices this week.

I have a balancer on an ITunes Gift Card But can't seem to make purchases with this balance. I saved 4 items to my wish list but when attempting to purchase/buy I am not given the option. You need to click on the price, not the downward pointing arrow next to them, that should allow you to buy them - the 'buy all' button that used to be on the wish list screen has, for some reason, been removed from the current version of iTunes, so you can only buy items individually

your gonna have to wait for a software update (or do a total reset of the phone, which you would only do if you knew that would 100% work, which it might not) sorry. i found a ton of glitches that cant be fixed without some sort of update. try this glitch: in lockscreen call any number for the emergency call number and hit call multiple times until apple logo appears. it will appear to have resprung but it will call the number you dialed. another lockscreen bypass.

ITunes Store app stuck on "Loading..."
Hello, all! I've been having this issue over the past couple of weeks and googling away to see if there's a fix, but I haven't yet found one, and it's really starting to bug me. It's becoming a nuisance for me to have to use the computer any time I'd like to buy a song.
My iPod otherwise works well with iTunes on my Windows machine...shows up, syncs, etc. It's been an issue between iOS 7.0 and 7.0.2. I did a full restore using the IPSW file when I updated to iOS 7.0. Also, I'm running iTunes 11.1, and updating to iTunes 11.1.1 right now, but I'm pretty sure that won't fix the issue. If it does, I'll be sure to update the thread.
Any time I attempt to open the iTunes Store app on my iPod, it won't work. It shows a blank screen, eventually showing a spinning indicator and "Loading..." for a few seconds, then it disappears, and then it goes back to the same screen. I cannot access the iTunes Store through the Home screen or by using a link from Facebook/whatever.
It seems others have had issues with this, but I haven't yet found a way that fixes it. I've tried it at home and with my college's way faster internet, and other apps (including the App Store and even the iBooks Store) work just fine, so there's no connectivity problem so far as I can see. It's just the iTunes Store app which absolutely will not work for some reason.

Whenever I open the iTunes store, the home pages of all of the sections (Music, App Store etc.) are BLACK. They still have clickable hyperlinks, but I can't see what I'm clicking. Any pagess accessed through the drop-down menus (even iHelp) or by randomly clicking I can't see.
Thanks but it's just my desktop that doesn't see it though. My notebook sees it everytime, even at the same exact time that my desktop doesn't see it. For example yesterday when I was typing up this post, I was typing up the post on my notebook because my desktop didn't see the router. I don't think it has anything to do with the router actually, but I wanted to see if anyone on here has encountered this issue before. Other forums have similar issues but I've tried all of the fixes I found elsewhere and they didn't work.
Any other ideas?

Cannot add apps to iTunes Wish List for my ipod
When using iTunes on my Macbook, I cannot add apps (for ipod, ipad, etc. NOT for computer) to my Wish List. When I try, a pop up error alert box says that "Your request is temporarily unable to be processed., to try again later." The odd thing is that I can add music albums to my Wish List. I am not trying to add previously bought apps, but new ones that I find that I might want later. I used to be able to do this, but not as of recently. I even updated my Itunes to see if that would help. No effect. Is it my wifi network,? Any ideas of how to remedy this?
thanks. I opened iTunes this morning and miraculously my wish list seems to be working. i see one app i had added to be downloaded. I am able to remove songs from wish list and add songs and preview all.
last i heard from the customer service person was that they referred the issue to a senior level support person. this after i sent them several screen shots of my wish list and the error about unable to add to existing wish list because ittem was already there.
I have not heard from them that my issue is resolved. I will give them a day or so to get back to me to confirm they fixed the problelm.
very strange. at least they acknowledged the problem did indeed exist as they referred me to the online user forum for possible solutions. I indicated the problem persisted as early as June 2010 and as late as Jan 2012. and I had upgraded to ver 10.5.3 as well as remove and re-install even AFTER they kept telling me they removed my wishlist. -

I am unable to view My Wish List on the ITunes Store After installing the updated ITunes. It shows an Error -1202 and says try again later. But it never works.
Hi Jen. My daughter just compleated her nursing program and is now working as a full time nurse. Focus and study hard and soon you will be there too. Now to the problem at hand. I have the same problem. I gave up on it and satisfied myself with my iPod without the upgrade. Reason being I've read so many posts of people having problems after the upgrade. But I'm sure other factors are involved. Nevertheless here is the fix most say works to solve the problem: What ever virus protection you have installed on your computer, disable it. Then try to install the update. After that enable the protection. I had Kaspersky, and it does it's job well. The thinking is, the virus protection is blocking the upgrade. Hope this works. Charlie

I have purchased Pages, Numbers and Keynote for my iMac and wish to transfer them to my iPad 3. Is this possible and if so how do I do it?
If you want to have Pages, Numbers and Keynote on the iPad then you will need to buy the app versions from the iTunes app store - the Mac version (OS X) is not compatible with the iPad (iOS), they are different operating systems.

I purchased songs from iTunes Radio on my iPhone, but now the only place they will show up is in the iTunes Store app on my phone, even after syncing to my computer a million times, the songs do not show up in my library or anywhere else. My phone is not syncing properly, I wanted to add another playlist to it that I created on my Mac. I pluged in my phone and made sure the playlist I wanted to add was checked to be on my phone when I synced.
The playlist I wanted to add was "Country." It is clearly checked. I also wanted to add the "Recently Added" playlist, which I also checked before sycing. Currently, my phone only has the "Purchased" playlist and my "All Songs" playlist on it. When I hit sync, iTunes added another playlist automatically added another playlist to the list above and checked it. It was titled "ALL SONGS 1" and had ten fewer songs in it than the playlist I had created, "ALL SONGS" had. This playlist, however does not show up on my phone after syncing, nor does "Country" or "Recently Added." (Every time I sync, another playlist is created as "ALL SONGS 2, 3, 4, etc.") One of the songs (I have not, yet checked the other songs) that I purchased from within iTunes Radio shows up in the "ALL SONGS 1" on this screen:
But does not show up anywhere else. This playlist does not show up anywhere but the two screens above. The ALL SONGS 1 or 2 playlists do not show up here:
When I search for those song in my library, it shows that I do not have them:
But if I go to the iTunes store, I get the play button and not the price of the song:

"Summertime Sadness," one of the songs I bought from iTunes Radio, does not show up in the iTunes store under purchased "All" or "Not on This iPhone"
But, it does show up under "Recent Purchases"

I have a wish list in my itunes on my computer but i can't find it in my itunes on my ipad2. I went to my movies tab and it is not there in my quick links. Where did it go? For that matter why does the itunes store/account look different on my ipad as opposed to my computer? There is a lot of links missing from my ipad2 itunes -------

Why can't iPhoto, Pages, Numbers, Keynote and iMovie access my iTunes Library files and Pages, Numbers, Keynote and iMovie access my iPhoto Library files now that I upgraded to '11?
Examples of what is going on:
1. In Pages, Numbers & Keynote, when I go to the media browser the Audio section reads "Open iTunes to populate this list" even after iTunes has been opened, .xml file has been replaced/repaired, etc AND Photo section reads "Open iPhoto to see photos from your iPhoto Library in this list" even after iPhoto Library has been replaced and new default library created.
2. In iMovie, similar thing ... when I go to add photos or music to a movie the iTunes files aren't present and the iPhoto photos are missing with similar messages as in #1.
3. In iPhoto, similar thing ... when I go to add music to a slideshow it says to "Open iTunes to populate this list".
It is shocking to me that Apple would let something as simple as a pathway link to associated library files get this messed up on an upgrade, but what's even more surprising is that with the number of people who seem to be having this particular issue (and I can tell from all the research that I've done for weeks online that there are a lot of them) that there doesn't seem to be a single clear answer to fixing it anywhere on these community support forums. Most of what I've seen is rehashed advice from outdated issues. What I need is a simple answer to how do we get these programs to look for the correct location of the photo and music files because I sure can't seem to find any logical place to do that through the programs' preferences files or the system preferences window?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Numbers '09 2.3 (554)I have the same problem on a new MacBook Pro. I have not been able to access the iTunes library from iPhoto since I got this computer. I looked in the Preferences file and deleted the com.apple.iApps.plist but there was no com.apple.iApps.lockfile so I just deleted the iAPPs.plist and rebooted the computer. Still no iTunes available in iPhoto.
All my music is in iTunes and plays. After reading the above I brought up Pages and I was able to access music and insert a track into a document.

Seriousily...no Wish List available on iTunes ios?
This is a glaring omission on Apple's part. Mobile devices are the one place we should have a wish list feature on iTunes as it is more likely the place people are consuming this content. This is a big Apple "opps"
I agree with ron-man...they are pushing the updates. I've got tons of books on iTunes, iPad, iPhone, etc., but none of them can tell me an easy way to resotre my devices. How hard would it be to have a button that says "Restore "device" (being iPhone, iPad, iTouch, etc.) with original apps, etc.? Basically put the apps and what not back on it? I don't have the extra time to go and find EACH and every app I had on it...
On another note, I'm not too sure that I want to stick with Apple products if this is what we have to go through each time it downloads a NEW UPDATE!!! I'm plenty busy without having to take extra time out of my schedule to try and fix all my apps.

Has anyone (other than the secretive Apple development people) compiled a wish list for the next and future versions of Numbers? I love the program, but there are a lot of missing pieces that form my own wish list. If anyone knows of someone who is trying to compile this kind of list, please post a link here. In the meantime, here is my hit parade of missing features (in no particular order):
1. Scripting or macros. It doesn't have to be Applescript or VBscript or any particular familiar one; just SOME way to write scripts in Numbers.
2. Named ranges that can be referenced instead of literal ranges. For instance, some way to use "my list" instead of "B13:b973" or whatever.
3. Variable substitution in conditional expressions. Here is an example of what is bothering me:
=COUNTIF($P$3:P$57,">=0")-COUNTIF($P$3:$P$57,">10")
Notice that the conditions (>=0 etc.) have to be quoted. This means that you can't use a cell reference inside the conditional, which also means that you can't systematically replicate this kind of expression (in this case, it is part of my laborious, manual histogram routine).
4. A histogram routine, hopefully one that improves on the one in Excel. OpenOffice does a better job than Excel, but it still requires manually structuring the bin expressions. Of course if you could solve the scripting and conditional issues, you would easily solve this one too...
5. An intuitive use of column headers in sorts. Excel users know that if you highlight a set of numbers which has a set of column labels above the numbers, those labels can be used as sort keys. Instead of saying to sort on column T, you say to sort on Total or whatever. A small thing, but annoying...
I have submitted these things and more to Apple, but that is a black hole; you never know whether they heard you, whether they care, etc. Anyone else have a gripe/wish list you would like to share? If there is enough interest I might try to collect and publish a prioritized list that could be submitted to Apple as a kind of friendly "class action" and might get some attention.
