Itunes store bought music wont sync post crash of Iphone
Crash occurred due to last IOS update. One option on Itunes says it will erase all music on iphone and use everything in library. appreciate your help. Itunes seems more complex than necessary.
Were they bought in iTunes on the computer, or on the phone? If purchased on the computer, connect the phone to the computer, select Music tab, select what music you want to sync to the phone, click on Sync. See this support document http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1351

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now. -
Movies i bought from the itunes store and they wont sync to my ipod
I had bought an ipod for my daughters birthday n i had purchased several movies from the itunes store and they downloaded n they show up in my library n wheni check them to sync to her ipod....it shows a pop up block that says that it cannot be copied to this ipod cause it is not supportrd by this ipod. my baby is really wanting to use it n I downloaded the itunes 10 & updated her ipod software to 4.3.3 i think that i did all the necessary updated and downloads now what do i do...i've been on this comp eversince 11:00am this morning and it is still now 1:29am....i dont know....if anyone has any suggestions..they r welcomed
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:

Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item. -
ITunes store bought music forces his way into iPhone
Hi all,
I've got an issue that I hope it's an easy fix for your genius out there.
I've bought a CD from the iTunes store, now every single time I plug in my iPhone onto my PC, open iTunes, it tries to sync it but fails. Meaning the music isn't inthe iPhone, when I click on SONGS under the DEVICES it'S shaded gray as opposed to Black like all the other songs.
I did select manage Manually manage music and videos under the SUMMARY tab and am able to delete it (the shaded said CD) but once iTunes is restarted, issue presents itself again.
Got me an iTunes Match account and deleted said CD from Library and iCloud thinking this would resolved the issue, but nope, this there.
I don't want that Music in my iPhone nor do I want it to be shaded in gray when I plug in my iPhone.
For what it's worth, issue was there with iOS 6 and still present with iOS 7

ITunes Store bought music eventually stops playing
Anyone else had this problem? I was hoping by re-downloading all my music it would fix it but that seems to have done nothing.
For example: Two days ago I downloaded two Toby Keith songs from the iTunes store. I didn't do anything to my phone (including turning it off), when the next day suddenly the songs won't play. Every other song plays fine, except the two Toby Keith songs. At first I thought it was my car stereo, but it wouldn't play on the iPhone either. Plays fine on iTunes.
The only fix is to delete the song and re-download it. I would have normally thought it was the song download, but rewind to a few weeks ago, and my entire Hollywood Undead Swan Songs CD (also bought from iTunes) wouldn't play. It was at this point I deleted all my music and resynced it.
I tried resetting phone, resetting settings, deleting all music and starting again, and it even did it through a restore.
Is this a bug? Is it a bad phone?Perhaps try resetting your iTunes Store Cache.
Go "Edit > Preferences". In the Advanced tab, click the "Reset cache" button shown in the following screenshot:
... and then click OK.
Restart your iTunes, and head back to the Store. Are you getting full previews now? -
Restored it from a backup and now there's no music on it. In the music tab it iTunes says: Thomas iPhone has access to music on iCloud. Songs can be fetched via WIFI or a mobile network. The pnly thing I can chose to sync are voice memos.
What can I do?If you want all the songs from an artist on your phone you can to to the artist view, tap on the artist, scroll to the bottom of the list and you will see a Download All button. This works for playlists and albums too (scroll to the bottom and tap the Download All button). I suppose if you wanted all your music on your phone you could create a smart playlist in iTunes on your computer that would contain all your music, upload it to iTunes match (Store>Update iTunes Match), and then you would get a Download All button at the bottom of this playlist on your phone to download all your songs.

What a pain -on a mac- never had aproblem- loaded a new shuffle with music - will not let me sync itunes store bought songs- will not let me authorize the computer. I have a ipod as well. Is this a block when loading a second device? OR?
In iTunes, do Store->View my AppleID
Click "Deuthorize ALL"
Then, on any computers you still have, do Store->Authorize this computer. If there are less than 5, you will have no problem.
You can only do "deauthorize all" once a year, so in the future, if you ever throw a computer away, remember do to "Store->Deauthorize this computer" first. -
How can I download my TV episodes to my Macbook Pro. I bought them from my iPad2, and I looked for them with the same AppleID on iTunes Store and they wont download to my iTunes.
What country are you in ? Depending upon what country that you are in then you might be able to redownload them on your Mac's iTunes via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the iTunes store homepage
If you're not in a country where TV programmes can be redownloaded then connect the iPad to your Mac's iTunes and use the File > Devices > Transfer Purchases to copy them over from your iPad -
I had my Iphone in sync with iTunes in my desktop PC. I had purchased musics from iTunes Store and musics I did transfer from original CDs (legacy ones). I no longer have my CDs once I did donate it to a public library. How can I recover my whole music assests on Iphone to my iTunes in my notebook PC ? At this time I only know how to transfer Apple Store purchased items.
iTunes will only import music purchased from the iTunes store. If you need to import music to iTunes from your phone that wasn't purchased from iTunes you will need to use 3rd party software to do so, such as Touch Copy.

Only iTunes purchased music can hava a cloud icon and then only if the music was purchased with the account listed in Settings>iTunes and App Store on the iPod.
Was the iPod previous synced to another iTunes library/computer?
Have you successfully synced from this iTunes library/computer before?
If so have you done anything like update iTunes on the computer since it last successfully synced?
Do the songs play in iTunes?
Does any media now sync to the iPod?
Do you have the right boxes checked to sync?

I don't do auto-sync. Too much music on my PC for that. I manually copy and/or delete.
And I did delete the iTunes-acquired albums from the phone and then copied them back on:

i tied to sync my ipod to the itunes but, the apps wont sync it just says the apps will be replaced with the ones on the itunes library,but there isnt any apps on there, i deleted all the apps after i use to use the library for my old iphone helpp, the ipod used to be synced with a another i tunes libary that i have deleted now

You can only sync with one ITunes library. It you switch iTunes library iTunes will erase the iPod and replace it contents with what is in the library of the new computer. -

i downloaded apps from the itunes store and tried to sync them to my ipod touch but its not syncing.i even restarted my ipod several times but it doesnt seem to work....i tried to delete and re-install the apps but that too doesnt seem to work... and while syncing,the apps are shown in my ipod and after the ipod is synced the apps disappear... dunno wat to do .................please help........
Do you have Restrictions set that prevent adding the apps? (Settings>General>Restrictions).
