Itunes store cant connect to internet after i installed itunes 9

i recently installed intunes 9 and after that i cant get onto the store... i can get onto the internet but just not on itunes. i have done everything that the help thingy said to do.....please help me!

If you get it "frequently" that tells me that it does connect for you some time. Maybe one of these things will help. I have had the issue a few times and the thing that works for me is signing in and out of my account. YMMV.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>Off. Set the date one year ahead. Try to update the apps again. If you get an error message, go back to the settings. Correct the date and time (set automatically) then go back and try again.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in and then try again.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Basically, thats my problem. CANT CONNECT TO THE INTERNET! I tried everything. the flush dns thing and pop-up thing. I hev norton and the setting are fixed so it allows itunes. firewall if turned off. anything else i need to try? i really need this. i just bought a new ipod nano and i want to download songs. i can connect to internet fine and everything. I hev a dell inspiron E1505 laptop and internet is wireless. yes, i tried w/o wireless too. no use. HELP! i hev itunes 8.02 or something. the latest one.

Chyna26 , one thing that has helped a lot of folks using Norton is to take itunes out of the list of allowed programs. Save those Norton settings.
Then go back in and re-add itunes and itunes helper.
For some reason, Norton has been showing itunes as allowed, but it really isn't. So removing it and adding it back fixes the problem.
If that doesn't help, try posting your network diagnostics from itunes help.

When i click in the Itunes Store it says " Itunes could not connect to the itunes store. An unknown error occured (11333)." Then it says "Make sure your newtowrk conneciton is active and try again."

im having this problem rite now as well.. i just got my iPod touch and none of my album artworks were coming up.. turns out you need the Itune store to do that; so I go to the iTunes store and it won't connect, saying i should check my network... My internet has nothing wrong with it, I don't have any additional firewalls or anything like that, Windows Firewall is disabled, and has iTunes as an exception neways.. This is seriously annoying, I did all of the things the above link asked me to do and none of it worked... this is really an annoying problem and if someone has any info they could share it would help a BUNCH. thanks..

IPhone 3gs cant connect to internet after OS4

Ever since i updated to OS4, i cant connect to the internet except at wi-fi hotspots. i reset all settings, restored the iphone, tried airplane mode on and off and nothing has worked. any suggestions?

I had the same problem that AT&T couldn't solve after my iOS4 Upgrade on my 3gs.
An Apple Tech double checked that airplane mode was off and then went to settings, restore network settings thru the phone's menu. It reset and suddenly all my 3g cellular connection was restored and everything worked again. But V E R Y S L O W L Y!
I am still getting 4-5 bars of connectivity, my all my speed tests show my 3g data connect at about 60-120 kbps or even slower. I don't know of it's an iOS4 bug or AT&T just overwhelmed by al the new Iphones added to it's network. I'm paying for "Unlimited Data" that now comes in so slowly, some of my apps "freeze" and time out when they can't connect.
And I have no official way of downgrading to 3.1.3 without hacking my phone...which can't be discussed here and may not even really work!

What happened between June 11 (last store connection) and today? Did you upgrade itunes? If yes, you will need to allow the new version of itunes in your security software firewall.

After taking the latest security dowload for Panther my airport extreme can't reach the internet. I had a similar problem a while ago when an airport update seemed to discriminate against my 'X-Modem'. Is there a conflict in this latest security update.

Are you able to connect to the X-Modem administration interface on http://10.0.0.2 and run the diagnostics ?

Ipad 2 apps cant connect to internet after 7.0.6 update

Hi there can anyone help.
Im using an IPad 2 with wi-fi only and ever since the 7.0.6 update was available, none of my apps seem to connect to the internet (it has been like this as soon as the update became available, both before and after installing).
The browsers seem to work fine, but apps such as facebook, amazon and even the appstore come back with "cannot connect" or "network error"
Anyone have a fix for this?

I just did this network settings reset, but my problem is persistent. My iPhone 5 connected to my Airport Extreme perfectly for a long time, then starting about 3 or 4 weeks ago it will not connect. I have several other iPhone, iPads, Apple TVs and Macs in the household which all connect fine, but for some reason my phone will no longer connect, using all the same settings and login credentials.
When I enter the wireless network password, it seems to accept the password, but never actually connects. The little windmill icon just runs and runs, never resolving. It has been this way for weeks now, but only at home, I have no trouble connecting at the coffee shop, airport, or friend's houses. What's even more strange is that the iphone appears to be receiving an IP address from the router, it just will not communicate internet data.
If anyone has had any luck resolving this problem, your help would be much appreciated.

During install I get a box appear with Printers on the top and "could not complete installation" in the box. then installation finishes and said successful. I can back up my device at this point, but when I open my browser I can not bring up any page. I have had the same result with every version of link, including the new release today. I have uninstalled my old bb desktop software with revo uninstaller pro and still no luck. Laptop is running windows XP sp3, connected via wifi. I am thinking it is doing something that is telling my laptop to connect with the ethernet cable which is why it is failing. The minute I unistall Link, I can connect my browser to the internet again. Anyone have an idea what might be the issue. An update missing for some portion of windows?

Hi there. I have the same sort of problem with my MacBook. To get the internet working again I have to restart the system. Sometimes the same sort of thing (shows I'm connected but doesn't really connect) happens when I'm in the middle of using the internet. I've posted a topic ("Problem with AirPort?") about this also and I've gotten a few responses already. Maybe one of them can help you out (no luck for me so far though).

N97 cant connect to internet after firmware update

Let me start by saying that I've always been a loyal nokia supporter until the n97.
from the first day out of the box it has given me nothing but trouble!!! and i think that Nokia made a lot of mistakes with this "flagship phone"
But on to a more recent problem I've been having. i updated my firmware (via computer) to firmware v20.0.0.19 unfortunately I've completly lost the ability to go online through any form (3g /wifi) I've done everything i could think of (soft reset, hard reset) but nothing helps. I've read many threads who appear to have the same problem, only nobody has found a full prove solution (as far as i can see)
please prove me wrong. I'm at the point where it annoys me so much that i want to trow the phone out of a 5 story window

hi, sorry you're having problems, it may seem obvious but have you tried deleting all your internet access points, and then adding new access point ? May help, also I'm sure I saw another post with a similar issue also on 3, maybe worth contacting them as they are renound for tightly controling there branded phones and may be able to send you some new settings.
Hope you get it sorted it's a great phone once it's running right, and mine is on V2.1.

Something seems to be missing in my registry which means I cannot burn cd's. Also I cannot access the itunes store to download. I have re-installed itunes twice but without any luck. My Advent laptop doesn't have system recovery points so I can't restore.

The problem is in the registry and not itunes.

Look out for "japiohelp".
In short:
a) press Windows key + "R", enter "cmd", and press Ctrl+Shift+Enter (= runs as admin)
b) enter "netsh winsock reset" and pres enter
c) reboot the computer

1. Make sure Time Zone is correct.
2. Make sure that your iOS software is up to date by tapping Settings > General > Software
3. Check and verify that you're in range of a Wi-Fi router or base station.
4. Make sure that you have an active Internet connection. You can check the user guide for your device for help with connecting to the Internet.
5. Try resetting (turning off and then on again) your Wi-Fi router.
