Itunes store does not open in my computer. I need help...I have worked on this issue for more than 10 hours. I am about to return my new ipod touch.

I do not have access to itunes store. I tunes store was working well with my old ipod with 30GB wich i had for about 6 years. I went to the store to have the battery replaced. However, I was told that my ipod was ready to be recycle. I received 10% discount to buy an ipod touch with 60GB +. When I connected the ipod touch to my computer, i did not have access to itunes store. Also, none of my music was synced. In addition, the icon for my ipod showed that the battery was not charged even though I charged the ipod touch for more than 8 hours prior to conneting it to the computer.
I have installed the latest version for itunes 10.6.1. Still I do not have access to itunes store. I have put more than 10 hours trying to solve this issue. I have become frustrated and ready to return my purchase.
Please help

Here is what worked for me:
My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc.

  • Why Apple iTunes stores does not open ?

I am now located in India. Of late, Apple iTunes store is not opening. I tried rebooting, changing date settings etc., It did not work. Now, I am unable to even update some Apps. What do I do?

If iTunes will not launch - and I assume that is what you mean by "will not open" - try quitting the app completely and restart the iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
You said that you are in India now which I also assume means that you were using the iTunes Store in another country ... Is that correct? You will have to change the store to whatever store you bought the apps in if you want to update the apps. If iTunes will not open, the  you can't change the store right now anyway.
    Can you clarify a bit?

  • Itunes store does not open, or if it opens I cannot search anything. Win 7 home premium 64 bit.

Well, this has been going on for about a year.  Itunes store gets 60% loaded and stalls.  The new user acct fix does not work, the admin netsh winsock reset, does not work. Stoping Apple mobile device does not work. Uninstalling Bonjour, Mobile, support, admin, quicktime and Itunes and reinstalling from scratch used to fully work. However now it gets me to the store, mostly fully opening, or opening, but I cannot search anything at all, it times out on the search after a few minutes.  I spend several hundred dollars a year in the Itunes store.  Now if you don't wnat me to do that, I will go elsewhere for purchases.
Thank you.  I am running WIndows 7 home premium 64 bit, on a Asus i7 core laptop that I purchased in March 2010, 10 GB of ram, on several different smoking fast networks.

everything you stated here is exactly what i have done and have got nowhere. i have windows 7 64 bit on a hp 8 g of ram desktop. im also looking for help

  • Itunes store does not open - no error using windows vista

does anyone have any solutions that will allow me to access itunes store.
    no error comes up.
using vista and have downloaded current itunes 10.4
    thanks

    thanks. spyware scan was clean.
how do i make sure itunes is allowed through antivirus? also, regarding the files to be deleted, where are they located on PC?
The first thing I'd suggest is to get a good
antispyware checker and give it a go at your system.
Some recent spyware has been reported by other users
to shut down iTunes or prevent it from launching.
From user reports, Ewido seems to be the best at
catching it. You can download a free version of Ewido
    here.
If that doesn't cure the problem, make sure that any
antivirus/antispyware application you have is set to
allow iTunes to operate. Some antivirus/antispyware
has been known to shut down iTunes. An upgrade to
iTunes or to the utility may have triggered the
    problem.
If that still doesn't help, take a look at iTunes for Windows: Troubleshooting unexpected
    quits, freezes, or launch failures
If that still doesn't work, try deleting the iTunes
    preference files:
    C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application
    Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iTunes.pref
    and
    C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local
    Data\Application Data\Apple
    Computer\iTunes\iTunes.pref
You might have to turn on "show hidden files" to find
them. (Right click "my computer", select open, select
Tools menu -> Folder Options. Select View tab, "show
hidden files" radio button is in the center scrolling
panel.) Delete them or if you want to be able to put
them back if it doesn't help, drag them to some other
location. This will force iTunes to run the setup
assistant the next time you launch iTunes. Note that
you'll have to go back and set any preferences you've
    changed from the default.
If that still doesn't work, try this:

  • ITunes Store does not open after upgrading to 10.6

My Intel iMac running 10.6.8 will not open the iTunes store after I upgraded iTunes to 10.6.  The iTunes store page is simply white with "iTunes Store" centered on the screen.  My iPhone and iPods are not recognized but all other functions of iTunes do work.  There are no error messages.
I have downloaded a new version of iTunes to no avail.
    Any ideas?

"The procedure point CVimagebuffercreatecolorspacefromattachments could not be located in the dynamic link library CoreVideod.dll."
Taken at face value, that's indicating trouble with one of your Apple Application Support program files. (iTunes needs a properly functioning AAS in order to work correctly.)
What Windows operating syatem are you using, g? If it's Vista or 7, do you have a 32-bit version or a 64-bit version?

  • Itunes store does not open

When I click on Itunes store I get a message that says "One Moment please, connecting to the Itunes Store" but nothing happens. My firewall is not on, I have an Imac (no antivirus software), I rebooted my computer, I uninstalled and reinstalled Itunes, but nothing is happening. Other computers on the same network are able to log on to the Itunes store. HELP.

Maybe you need to update the iTunes? Or Maybe your internet is a wavery signal. I have had that happen, what I did was I quit all other applications. Relaunched the Finder, then went back to iTunes, and it worked. If that was no help try these articles.
