ITunes store down?

I was just wondering if anyone else was having problems connecting to the iTunes store today (March 19th 2012)... I can't connect on my mac, pc or iPhone. I just keep getting the "We're sorry, we cannot complete your request on the iTunes Store at this time" error. BTW I'm in Toronto Canada, Not sure if it might just be a reigonal problem. Let me know peeps!

I'm in the US, and I'm having trouble, too. I either can't sign in, or it just gets stuck on "Accessing iTunes Store".

    I have been trying to purchase stuff for my iPad all evening, and it isn't working. Is the iTunes store down?

    You know what would be nice... a website from apple to tell us these things.  There is NOTHING wrong with admitting you are having technical issues, but to leave us blind with no phone tech support and customer service tells you they cant help and here is the best one... Customer Service does not allow their employees to have a test iphone for things.  Sorry but after 2 hours of this I am a little ****** off. FML

    You'll probably have to make sure the date and time is correct on your computer.

    Try the following solution I have been giving to a lot of Windows 7/Vista users:
    Possible solution but this is one of the rarest problems I've ever encountered with my iPhone and this fixed it for me, I had the same problem. Open Command Prompt as administator and type in 'netsh winsock reset'. Probably won't fix it but it's worth a try.

    I can't log-in to https://deimos.apple.com/WebObjects/Core.woa/SignIn/ for the past hour. Also, iTunes U itself has been acting up - downloads are VERY slow - taking 30MIN for 15MB file, and with frequent download error (=404). What is going on?
    FYI: I can log-in to the new PSM at https://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/DZStudio.woa/wa/SignIn without problem, though it is also a bit slow.

    Itunes is down in the UK as i have just logged into my itunes and it keeps saying "cannot connect to Itunes Store please check to see if your network settings are correct and that your connected to the internet"
    Now please tell me if im being a tad naive, but if im posting this then surely I am connected to the internet....So what is actually worng????
    Any answers would be greatful xxxx

    I've been trying for a WEEK to make a few purchases on iTunes, and I keep getting messages that the either there was an error in the iTunes store or that the iTunes store is unavailable.
    I've checked for updates ... I have the most current version (Windows XP).
    I've run diagnostics ... no problems.
    Suggestions anyone?

    AHA !!!! After reading some of the other topics, it seems that trying one of the solutions in there for various iTunes problems has helped ... deauthorizing and re-authorizing my 'puter.
