ITunes Store graphics showing up only as broken chain.

All of the graphics on my iTunes Store are showing up as broken chains and the buttons (Subscribe, Buy Now, etc.) are red "x"s. I installed the new iTunes, thinking this was the problem, but it still isn't showing up as anything.

You need to go to your software update and update to the latest version of Quicktime. I had the same issue and once I updated to the latest version of Quicktime, the graphics all showed up again and it worked fine.

  • Changed feed and deleted old account.  iTunes Store still showing deleted content?

I was a former use of Podomatic and published my RSS feed to iTunes in order to publish my podcasts.  I am now publishing to iTunes direct from my webserver via software "Feed For All" that I purchased.  iTunes approved the changed URL RSS feed and it's working fine in the iTunes store.  All that is available via the Feed for All URL is being published by iTunes, so that's not the problem.  The problem lays in that I deleted my Podomatic account approximately 7 days ago, and iTunes Store still shows the Podomatic content ... i.e., unplayable and not working podcasts as well as the avatar from my Podomatic account.
How long does it take for iTunes to strip out the old Podomatic stuff?
    Thank you.
    Rachael

His content will only be where he put it.
Has he copied his content from his old comptuer to the new one?

I have found a fix after doing additional research through this forum. Tech Note #328730 addresses this problem and it works for Photoshop Album 3.2 even though it was written for release 1.0.
Here is a link that will take you directly to the Tech Note:
    http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=328730
When using this fix the Tech Note indicates:
"Imported image data and tags are lost when you re-create the My Catalog.psa file, so you need to reimport images and reapply any tags"
however it did retain the captions (at least it did for me).

Yet the iTunes library shows the current icon:
Device I can test on are also showing the "current" icon.

    > Your new image is far too large at 2.5MB - it must be less than 500kB, so the Store is ignoring it.
OK... I'll give that a try. Didn't look that closely at the filesize, it would be nice if the written specs mentioned the filesize limitations.
    > You should also make sure that it has a different filename from the previous image or the Store won't have any way of knowing it's been updated.
The name of the filename is automatically changed by the CMS when an image in the system is updated/replaced. (The long string of hex digits is actually a guid based on a hash of the visible bitmap.

I'm assuming that you are in Germany as you posted in German, in which case you won't be able to re-download TV shows. If you haven't got copies of them anywhere then you can try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will grant you a re-download : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

  • Itunes store not showing up on apple tv?

after several weeks of working fine, the itunes store now does not show up on apple tv. any ideas why? and how can i get it back?

Same here.  It's been working just fine for months and suddenly last night (01/05/12) I no longer have any access to iTunes Store or Netflix from the main menu. My only choices are Internet, Computers, and Settings. And according to the settings, it still indicates that I am still signed-in to iTunes.

  • Apple iTunes Store - Tv Shows Availability in non-US countries

    Hello to everyone.
I live in Kazakhstan, and am a proud owner of 120 GB iPod. But, unfortunately, in Kazakhstan's iTunes Store it's impossible to buy ANY music/movies/tv shows. Just iPhone/iPod Touch Apps. I don't want to have pirated copies of all those TV shows I like. And, I prefer watching to untranslated, original US TV shows. For example, I've decided to buy Victorious' 1'st pilot episode. Everything went fine before the login procedure. Because after that iTunes said me that TV shows are not available in KZ.
The only 'real' method, as I think, is to change my country to US in my Apple ID and to write some fake billing address. I don't want to do so.
Please, anyone, gimme some information on it.
    Thanks.

The only 'real' method, as I think, is to change my country to US in my Apple ID and to write some fake billing address. I don't want to do so.
A fake billing address would not work. You need a real credit card with a real billing address to verify your country of residence for copyright purposes.
Until Apple sorts out the iTunes store for Kazakhstan, there is only the App store available.

  • German iTunes Store - Link to 2.0 is broken

    Hello everyone,
I tried all night long to download software update 2.0. iTunes tell me if I would like to switch to the iTunes Store and when I do so, the moving bar comes for a few seconds and then i am on the page of my ipod touch again.
The link on apple.com also has the same effect.
Am I the only one ore does someone share the same problem?

Yes... all around the world people have (at least once, 'cept for Steve Jobs ) experienced this problem. Lets see how much money I have actually spent on this iPod:
    $399 iPod Touch 16GB
    $30-40 iTunes (at least)
    $20 for the software update
$50 for the composite v/a connector
    $30 in screen protectors
    $40-50 on cases
    $50 Apple universal dock
$70 for a decent pair of headphones(The Apple in-ear ones broke, gave my friend a shuffle for the refund)
$60 in preperation to buy those rediculiously expensive apps
    Lets add that all up...
Total:$770(thats almost a flippin laptop!) and yet apple STILL stabs me in the back...however, i am not as concerned at the price compared to the time of wait... Apple should have prepared for this. Bottom line. They had the time to, they should have, they didn't. Dont forget the fact that Apple had released the App Store, Who many bought apps for already for their iPod Touch, only to find out that they didnt release the 2.0 update. iTunes is most likely the problem, due to the fact that 7.7 would show the "Upgrade" button, until you downloaded an app.
BOTTOM LINE: Apple should have prepared for this. If you want to check out some nice apps for free, i suggest you look at the Apps Titled: Remote, Pocket Express, and more.

  • ITunes Store not showing the latest episodes

For some reason the latest 7 or so episodes are not showing up on the actual iTunes store page but if you are subscribed to the show in iTunes it is still pushing all the current episodes but they are just not showing up on the actual store page. At the moment it is showing only episodes up to episode 15 but there are actually 22 episodes but for some reason only the store page is not showing them but yet the RSS/XML file and iTunes is downloading them and showing them.
    Feed URL: http://munchtech.tv/thesocialshow.xml
    iTunes Store URL: http://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/social-media-weekly/id406365422
    Thanks for your help,
         Aaron

I'm afraid I can't offer any explanation for this. The feed seems to be perfectly OK, the episodes I checked downloaded OK, but the Store plainly hasn't checked the feed since shortly after March 5th. This sort of odd thing does happen very occasionally - sometimes it sorts itself out eventually. There isn't really anything you can do about the feed to help matters, as far as I can see. You could try approaching iTunes Support, but be warned that you will probably just get a form answer which doesn't address the problem. Go to http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ - click on 'Other iTunes Store Features' in the list and then on 'Podcasts'. You will see a link to either 'Express Lane', which will guide you eventually to some contact options, or you may see a link to email them.

  • ITunes store is currently unavailable only for most recently purchased content

I have a new issue: when attempting to access the three most recent TV series that I purchased, I get the error, "iTunes store is currently unavailable. Please try again later." This has been occurring consistently for the last three days, even after completely resetting the Apple TV and re-logging into my iTunes account. I can access newest series on my iPad and iTunes but Apple TV will not play them, only give me the error. It will, however, play anything I purchased prior to the three most recent purchases. Maddening!

I've been experiencing the same problem for the last several days. When clicking on certain TV shows (not specifically most recently purchased) through the purchased tab it goes straight to this error. The workaround by searching for the show works fine but is still a pain in the arse.
It's really annoying when you try and do the right thing by paying for content (often far more expensive than even physical mediums that aren't DRM'd up the wazoo) and we can't even watch it because of server problems.
Possibly more annoying is how crummy Apple service has become. I called to report the problem, they tell me to fill out a webform, they respond telling me to call. Seriously? Just fix your **** servers.

  • HT201272 I have purchased a movie and elected to download later; when I go to the iTunes store, it shows where it is purchased yet when I go to the movie it ask for it to be purchased, will I be charged twice for the movie I have not downloaded yet?

I purchased the movie "Black Nativity" at midnight and selected to download later; it shows that the movie has been charged in my account for billing, however; I when I go to download the movie, it ask for it to be purchased versus download.  I would like to know if I will be charged again for the movie upon selecting  purchase movie?  I would like some direction as for how to download the movie that I already purchased.

Clicking on its purchase price again may result in you being charged again. Does the Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option download it
Or does it show under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage for downloading

    Hello g.havo23,
After reviewing your post, I have located an article that can help in this situation. It contains a number of troubleshooting steps and helpful advice concerning iTunes Store issues:
Can't connect to the iTunes Store

If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store, a software conflict or your Internet service provider (ISP) may be blocking your access.
Update iTunes and Safari to the latest version.
If you have a firewall, your settings may be preventing you from connecting to the iTunes Store. Follow these steps to configure your firewall.
You may need to reset your keychain. Connection issues are occasionally caused by keychain issues. Learn how to use Keychain First Aid to resolve any issues with your keychain.
If you're receiving a specific error message, follow these steps.
If the issue still persists, contact your Internet service provider and confirm that these ports and servers are enabled over your network.
