ITunes store in German after v7.0 upgrade?

Just upgraded to v7.0 and my iTunes store headers are displayed in German.
Selected language in iTunes preferences is English.
How do I change the iTunes store language?

scroll down to the bottom of the front page of your iTunes Store. do you see a little thing saying "Mein Store: Deutschland"?
if so, click on that and select "United Kingdom". are you back seeing English headers again?

    I have recently upgraded to iTunes ver 9.0.1.8. Having done so when I access the iTunes store the text within the store is completely unreadable. The main banner advert is readable, the text within each thumbnail is readable, but beyond that, total jibberish. It is the same within each store application. Please can someone help?

    I'm having the a similar problem on my work computer as in order to download upgrades I have to sign on as an administrator and then sign back on with my normal account. The upgrade works fine when I'm signed on as an administrator but when I sign back into my normal account the view is scrambled...anyone have any ideas about that? I've never had this problem before, just download the upgrade in the admin account, click on the 'agree' button when the licence agreement pops up and then sign on to my normal account, open iTunes, click the agree button and then work away with the upgraded programme but this time when I log back into my standard username, the programme won't run properly...I have restarted, checked for updates again and it just says that my version is updated but still wont appear properly on the screen...it's downloaded podcast updates and synced my ipod but the screen wont come up...very strange...any ideas?

    Remember, any purchased item from the itunes store is forever associated with the Apple ID used to buy it.  So when you get prompted for an ID/password and it doesn't accept it, then you are using the wrong ID.
    Go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores, be sure it's logged into the ID you have set on the iphone (since that one seems to be connecting with the right ID).  If you've done this, then you might wait a bit to see if the "cannot connect to .. store" message has to do with internet connections.

    You will not get recharged if you download them from the Purchased section of the iTunes Store and you are signed in with the Apple ID they were originally purchased with.

The incident is extremely annoying and I am dissapointed with Apple's services. With Apple being a fortune 500 company, why would it resort to ripping off a customer.

    If you were instructed to call them, then that's what you should do. They will probably need to verify your identity before helping you with the security question.

  • ITunes Store rendering problem after upgrade...

    I just upgraded my iTunes to 10.2.2.12 and have found a problem.
    When I type in a band name in the search bar, the results are displayed in iTunes without the theme.
    I get a long list of text and image results without the iTunes theme for the page.

    Try restarting the PC and then heading into your Uninstall a program control panel and doing a repair install of your Apple Application Support. (Apple Application Support contains a lot of the program files that iTunes uses to render the Store.)
    Does the store display properly after the repair install?

    Apparently when I updated my software this morning it logged me off my Wifi for some reason (even though the wifi icon at the top of the screen indicated it was using it), I logged back in and could connect.

    If you can't find them on any of your homescreens or app folders, and you can't find them via the spotlight search screen (drag down the centre of the home screen down), then are they hidden by Settings > General > Restrictions > Installing Apps, iTunes and Safari being set 'off' ?
    If not then have you tried a reset to see if you can find them after the iPad has restarted ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

  • ITunes won't open after I declined upgrade

    I opened iTunes and was in the iTunes store when the upgrade window popped up. I clicked to continue without downloading and iTunes shut down. Now I cannot get the application to open. I tried the tabs pinned to my taskbar, the desktop and the start menu. I also tried plugging in my iPod hoping it would kick-start the program; my computer recognized the device but will not play or open iTunes.
    Did I somehow uninstall the program by declining the upgrade???

    I can not access my iTunes store I have a blank white screen and when I try to upgrade to 10.5 I get an error message about not being connected to the internet is anyone else having a problem similar to this?

    I had a upgrade for Angry Birds Seasons today and want to purchase something.  Every time I try it says "cannot connect to iTunes store".  I connect to our MacBook to upgrade iTunes and that didn't work...it's been restarted due to the upgrade.  My wifi is working fine.  Any suggestions?

    I can't in-game purchase the Mighty Eagle (same error popup as you) in the latest update of Angry Birds Seasons, either. I also upgraded the App tonight. But I suspect it might be a problem with the game update and not my phone, network, or the iTunes store as everything else is working fine, including direct connections to the iTunes store to make direct purchases.

  • ITunes Store not updating after ping by number

    I've read a few posts about the iTunes store not loading additional podcasts. I pinged it after an update last night and ahven't seen an update yet. So I have pinged it again and each time I get the successful ping message.
    Is there a delay time that I should wait when doing the ping for an immediate update?
    I should show about 10 podcasts but show only three in the store. I can download all 10 if I subscribe to my feed though.

    Ping is a network program to verify IP address availability. Has nothing to do with iTunes.
    Don't under stand the problem. If subscribing to the feed gets you all the available episodes then what is your issue.

  • ITunes Store in German/y

    My ITunes store seems to default to the German language. I've no idea why. English is set in Preferences, and everywhere else in ITunes it is English but for some reason the store seems to locate itself in Deutschland. I've closed and re-opened. I've updated to as current as it gets and still German. Grrrr.
    Can anyone help?

    Did you change the store selection at the bottom of the Home iTS page?
    From the 'My Store' select the 'United States' from the drop down menu.
