ITunes Store keeps crashing. I can listen to my music and update apps. But when I click to the store, it crashes. What gives?

I seem to be having only a problem with the store. So I cannot buy anything. However I can update the apps.

Try this:
1. Settings>General>Date & Time>Turn off set automatically
2. Set date one year ahead
3. Go back to iTunes and try again.
4. You will get the same error.
5. Go back to settings general date and time and turn back on 'set automatically'
Try connecting to iTune Store again.

You can probably change the ID in the "iTunes and App stores" settings on the iPad....click on the wrong account ID , select sign out, then log in with your own ID, I have not done this but I think it works.....
but I would be more inclined to to the factory reset and start afresh.

It's a long running glitch, as the hundreds of threads on this topic demonstrate.
You can wait it out and wait for Apple to fix the servers or you can go into your purchased tab and manually download each update (you'll find the app icons with little update banners on them.
Alternatively, if you sync with a computer, you can use the iTunes on your computer to download the updates then sync them onto your device.

I have an iPad 3 (that I bought when it first came out), and at the moment I'm trying to sync it with my iTunes music on my computer but when I click on the iPad, it is coming up that it's a new one?

Both my computer and iPad are connected to the same account on iTunes so that can't be the problem. Before plugging it into there, I synced it in with iCloud just to make sure I don't lose anything by mistake. Can I get some help please?

I have the same problem. It is only with tv shows and only with programs I have downloaded after the software update.
Apple support sent me the above link too....but it doesn't solve the problem...my computer is authorized and the content is in my library and will play on my Mac air, but it will not sync the tv shows, it keeps saying my computer isn't authorized for it.

I, too, am having a serious problem with my iTunes.
It shows that iTunes is taking up usage on my computer but there is no error message when I try to open it. Nothing even happens. iTunes does not come up and I am searching for a possible answer.
We recently had a power outage but we got power back Sunday and when we did iTunes stopped working. Before this incident iTunes usually worked and when it didn't a simple re-start was used to fix it. However now I have tried that several times and it is not working.

My new iTunes account that I created for work keeps telling me that my email address is not yet verified. So I send a verification email to my main (another) email address, and then when I get a verification email to that address, it says that my email address is already verified.

You can resend the verification email by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right click Resend under your Primary Email Address.

How did you sync it ? You should be able to sync music by connecting your phone to your computer and selecting it on the left-hand sidebar of your computer's iTunes (you can enable the sidebar via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC) and then using the Music tab on the right-hand side of the iTunes screen to select the music that you want on your phone, and then applying/syncing that selection - is that what you did ?

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

I use iTunes Match so I can't confirm this on my computer (my Music tab looks different), but as I recall, on the Music tab you have the option to check to sync selected playlists, artists and genres, and then check which playlists you want to sync below that. Then, like songs, you would uncheck the playlists you don't want on your phone and sync to remove them.

Media and apps are not part of the backup. They need to be re-synced from your itunes library or re-downloaded from the store.

In order for this content to not appear grayed out, you need to enable the Manually manage music option from under the iPod's Summary tab in iTunes. Keep in minding that manually managing your iPod's contents is different from having content automatically sync to your device from iTunes. See here for more information.

I keep multiple windows opened and minimized. Sometimes when I click on the task bar to Restore, it apparently "disappears" out of view past the upper left corner. From then on, it can only be seen by using Maximize. What can be done to move it back?

From then on, it can only be seen by using Maximize in the task bar. When Restore/Move/Size are clicked, the pointer just goes to the upper left corner of the screen with all combinations of clicking/dragging having no success. What causes this, and what can be done to move it back?

If a window disappear then using the system menu can make it reappear or make it possible to move that window in view. I don't know what causes it to make the window disappear in your case if it does work correctly if you start Firefox.
You can check the browser.link.open_newwindow prefs on the about:config page if you want to open all links in tabs in the current window.
