  • ITunes store looks like plain HTML

Well, I thought it would be a good idea to buy some Family Guy, but wait! There's a spanner in the works! The front page of the iTunes Store looks OK, but when I use the Spotlight search to search for "family guy" it just appears like plain HTML... I have updated from iTunes 10.1.1 to 10.2.2 to no avail and have tried re-installing Safari to no avail. Please help!

Quadruple post, but the issue seems to have been resolved by updating Safari. Weird...
Interesting. That suggests your Apple Application Support didn't update properly when you updated to iTunes 10.2.2.12. Apple Application Support is where single copies of program files that are used by multiple different Apple programs are stored. The ones used by both iTunes and Safari include webkit.dll and icuuc40.dll, and there's newer versions of each in the latest Apple Application Support version 1.5.1, which is included in the latest iTunes and Safari installers. So perhaps the AAS update only went through properly when you did your Safari update (even though it should have happened when you did your iTunes update).
Or maybe something else happened. At any rate, I'm glad you've got things working now.

When I open up my itunes the itunes store looks like it is loading but will not open

I imagine this is a bit late for you, but to anyone else running into this problem, try the trick mentioned by VFSchreiber in this thread:
Re: Why won't my iTunes movie rental play or download?
This worked for me when I ran into the same issue (can scroll through rented movie but can't play it).  Just switch iTunes to the MiniPlayer (in the Window menu) and then back to the normal player.  Apparently, you may need to do this a few times. It sounds odd (and I didn't really expect it to work), but it fixed the problem for me.

  • ITunes Store looks funny in Mountain Lion

Since installing Mountain Lion, the iTunes store displays wrong - the large area at the top of the screen - which should display cycling artwork for current albums, movies, etc. is blank.   Everything else looks fine.   Attaching a screen cap.

NEVER MIND - another restart fixed it.

  • ITunes Store Looks Weird? (Picture Included)

Everything looks weird in my iTunes Store and here's a photo of it. You might not be able to see it, but it seems everything is disorganized in iTunes. I tried to re-install this but nothing happened, it was stil all the same. Any solutions to this? Thanks in advance.

  • ITunes Store looks fuzzy or even blurry

The images and text look blurry or fuzzy but i can't figure out why it's like that. Everything else in iTunes doesn't look blurry or anything. Even before upgrading it look that way. Here is a picture if it works right http://yfrog.com/neitunesstoreisblurryorfup Thank you for your time.

  • Why is the Mexican iTunes Store so empty?

I just found thar many VERY -and I mean VERY- popular songs are not available in this store, and I want to know why! And why can't then I just change my location? because it seems like, very unfair.

The rights owners (mostly media companies) decide what can be sold where and to whom.  Presumably Apple can do limited negotiation but in the end they have to take what is offered.

  • How can I prevent iTunes 10.5.2.11 64bit on Win7 64bit hanging while "Accessing iTunes Store"

Recently iTunes has started to hang on open on my win7 64 bit system.  It attempts to access the itunes store before I can do anything else, and simply hangs.  I can't proceed past this point, so can't configue any options such as deauthorising then reauthorising the computer, for example.  I have completed some basic troubleshooting steps e.g. disable firewall software temporarily, confirm network access from this and other systems, remove and reinstall itunes, perform repair installations, etc. But to no avail.  It seeems to be a pretty common problem, with the commonly offered resolution of the deauth / auth I mention above.  Does anyone have a fix?  Or, is there a way to configure itunes preferences outside of itunes?  Perhaps I can deauth / auth there to see if it will resolve the issue?  (I can't deauthorise all my computers as I have recently performed this previously, i.e. inside the (three month) window0. I may have to call apple support for assistace to resolve this, but trying to avoid this as there is often a bit of a lag there.
    Thanks for reading.

If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset and are running any kind of net monitoring software like Bsecure, Net Nanny, AVG Family Safety, Safe Eyes, Covenant Eyes, Norton Online Security etc... I would suggest that you try uninstalling said software and reinstalling iTunes 10.5 to see if that corrects the issue.
Refer to article TS4123. Follow the step to identify which software in your system is the culprit and uninstall it.

  • Blank iTunes Store Screen

    Hi,
I had upgraded to iTunes 8.1 but had a number of problems so I went back to version 8.02. Everything is back to normal except the iTunes Store - when I call it up I just get an empty screen with the grey controls at the top and the grey window at the bottom. There's nothing being displayed whether I'm logged in or not. Anybody got an idea on how to get the iTunes Store to display the store contents? Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem. The iTunes store looks like it is going to come up and then the screen is white. I can't click on anything in the store. It's been like this for over a week.

  • In the iTunes Store, why can't I sort songs by popularity anymore?

I downloaded the most recent version of iTunes on my PC.  I can't tell which version of iTunes it is (how do I find this?).  In my previous version, I could go to the iTunes Store, look up an artist, and sort his/her songs by popularity.  I can no longer do this in the latest version of iTunes.  How do I sort by popularity now?

    Hey Scot Walker,
Thanks for the question. If you are viewing all albums by an artist, you do have the option to sort by release date. This option is located in the top right corner of the page (it defaults to Bestsellers):
Note that you will need to click “See All >” from the Artists’ homepage.

Just installed the latest upgrade for iTunes. Cannot open iTunes store?

    Hey there Ray Neilson,
It sounds like you are able to open iTunes but cannot access the store. I recommend the troubleshooting from the article named:
Can't connect to the iTunes Store
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1368
    Troubleshoot issues in Windows
If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store for more than a day (and other customers on our discussion boards aren't experiencing similar issues) a software or Internet service provider (ISP) configuration issue may be blocking your access to the iTunes Store. Try disabling any proxies built-in to Windows. You should avoid proxies because they can cause issues.
If you're receiving a specific error message, follow these steps.
If the issue still persists, contact your Internet service provider and confirm that these ports and servers are enabled over your network.
Note: The hosts file may be blocking the iTunes Store.Microsoft's article How do I reset the hosts file back to the default? has instructions and a FixIt to have Windows try to reset the hosts defaults for you.Note: Some workplaces may put internal resources in the hosts file and may block iTunes Store. The FixIt doesn't work for Windows 8.To create a copy of your hosts file and replace it with an empty hosts file, follow the instructions below:
You can find the hosts file at: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC.
Select the hosts file. There should now be a duplicate of the hosts file named "Copy of hosts" (Windows XP) or "hosts-copy" (Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8).
Drag the original hosts file to your desktop.
Right-click the duplicate file and choose Open. You may be prompted to choose the program you want to use to open this file. Double-click Notepad.
When Notepad opens, choose Edit > Select All.
    Choose Edit > Delete.
    Choose File > Save.
    Close Notepad.
Right-click the duplicate file, and choose Rename.
Type "hosts" (without quotation marks) and press Enter.
Restart your computer and try connecting to the iTunes Store.
If you still can't connect to the iTunes Store, your security software or firewall may be blocking the ability of iTunes to communicate with the Internet. Learn how to resolve security software issues.
