ITunes store - my store list now appears as a list of ikons

The look of my iTunes store view has changed. The music/movie ikons now show as a list rather than as tiles.
How do I get back to the original view?

did you authorize the computer?

Itunes store content not appearing in itunes

When I click on the iTunes Store button, nothing appears in the window. I can get to my account information, but I cannot get to any content in the iTunes store.

Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with your purchased songs. You can download your previous purchases from your account on the iTunes Store on your computer.

Did you rent the movie on your iPad? Are you trying to watch it on your iPad?
Do you have WiFi connectivity when trying to start viewing the movie?
You should have answered "yes" to all the above. If not, that is probably the source of your issue.

The try the standar fixes:
- Reset. Nothing will be lost.
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore the iPod from backup via iTues
- Restore the iPod factoery defaults/new iPod.

Purchased music from iTunes Store and now can't find it

I JUST purchased a song from the iTunes store and now I can't find it. I've purchased several songs before and have had no problems. I've tried everything that's been suggested in the Discussions posting, but nothing has worked. Is there any refund or credit since it's lost? It's very frustrating when you spend money and don't get what you paid for.

First look at your account by going to the music store and hitting your account name in the top right corner (Where you sing in and out) to see if you was charged for it
In iTUnes at the top hit Advanced>Check for purchases if the song didn't download all the way
In windows hit Start Button>Search and in the search field type in "m4p" and it will pull up all the songs you have bought AND are on your system. when searching DO NOT hit "Pics Music Videos" Instead hit "All Files and folders". in "More Advanced Features" check "Search Sub Folders"
If you was charged for the song(s), have used "Checked for purchases" and nothing downloads and you search your WHOLE harddrive (Not just Muy Music Folder) and it does not pull up the songs as being on your system, you will have to email the music store at this link http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/musicstore/download/

You may need to delete the items from your iTunes Library, then redownload them.

I purchased a 'ringtone' from the apple itunes store - as a ringtone, but it is showing up in my itunes library as music. How do I get it over to tones and as a ringtone on my iPhone 4s?

I have the same problem! Let me know if you manage to sort it out. My iPad did the same thing but to full restore from iTunes sorted that out. Have you tried that? No such luck with my iPhone.

While checking my feed in the iTunes Store recently, I have noticed that after Episode 64, the descriptions for each individual episodes are displayed as "--", and I am not seeing a link to open descriptions of these individual episodes in a new window. This appears to be a recent problem.
I am noticing no difference in XML code between Episode 64 and Episode 65, as the template is unchanged with each update to the feed. However, I have noticed that, when checking my feed through FeedValidator.org, I receive this message:
"Your feed appears to be encoded as "UTF-8", but your server is reporting "US-ASCII"
I have attempted to rectify this issue, but to no avail. I wonder if it is causing this issue to occur. Again, this appears to be recent. Last I checked the Store listing for my podcast (a few weeks ago), I was seeing descriptions for each individual episode.

Don't worry about the Feedvalidator error.
The Store is using the feed at http://talkradiomeltdown.com/podcast.xml - the Feedburner feed doesn't come into it.
Not filling in the 'itunes:subtitle' tag is what's caused the problem. When subscribing, the 'Description' column is presumably populated by the 'description' tag in the absence of the proper one, but the Store is not doing this.
Oddly enough your latest episode does have the 'itunes:subtitle' tag but it's not showing in the Store - did you add it subsequent to posting the episode? - if that's the case the Store will pick it up when you post a new episode.

Looking for iTunes Store Lists

Hello! Once upon a time, the iTunes store used to have these great lists, though I don't think they were called "lists," but they had hundreds of these compilations in every genre imaginable. Examples I recall included British Punk, Women in Rap, 60s Psychedelic ... well, as I said, there were hundreds of these and they got pretty specific (like East Coast Punk, West Coast Punk ...). Usually they had 25 kind of intro songs (they had a name for this, I don't recall); 25 deeper cuts, and 25 Deep Cuts (I'm pretty sure they called it this) and you could buy each song, each set of 25, or all 75 songs. Does this sound familiar to anyone? If so, are these still on the iTunes store? And if so, can you tell me how to access them? I can't find them no matter what I try. I loved those compilations, and am looking for some "genre" music now for a party and would love to peruse them again.

Make a new playlist in iTunes called Shopping List (or whatever you like)
Drag tracks from the store listing to that new playlist. From that playlist you can listen to the preview or add it to a shopping cart at your convenience.

Should music purchased on iTunes Store on Mac appear on iOS devices

My iMac has Mountain Lion and my iPad 2 and iPhone 4S have iOS6. All have iCloud active.
When I just purchased a song on the iTunes store on my iMac it immediately and automatically appeared on my iPhone but NOT my iPad. Why might that be? Did I not turn something on on my iPad that I did on my iPhone?

That's because "Automatic Downloads" aren't turned on in the iPad. On the iPad, open Settings > iTunes and App Stores, and turn on "Automatic Downloads", so all purchases you make will be downloaded automatically on your iPad.
Now, to download the song on the iPad, open iTunes > Purchased, and download the songs

Do you not have a backup of the computer that you can retrieve the files from?
If not, you can redownload purchases by clicking "Purchased" under Quick Links at the top right of the iTunes store.

Itunes store purchases not appearing in my purchase folder in music app

In previous phone and IOS versions I was able to see my Purchased songs from Itunes Store in my Purchased folder in the music app after I purchased them on my iPhone. Now I don't see them in the folder unless I sysc with my computer. Why? I purchased them on the iPhone so why not put them in the Purchase fodler after I buy them. I can find them within artist or album but I like to listen to purchased folder when I purchase a lot of new music at one time by different artists. I currently have iPhone 6 and the most updated version of IOS.
