Itunes store not responding

When clicking on itunes store in itunes i get a blank sceen that reads "itunes store". I can't browse or search. Diagnostics passed.

    I recently purchased a Macbook Air, I've set up everything but my iTunes keeps coming up with an error when I try to re-download my purchased music from my iTunes account.
    I go into my iTunes account and then into 'Purchased' so I can download these into the iTunes and it comes up with this:
    "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occured (-45054)"
    Can anyone help me with this? This music that I have downloaded from iTunes, I have not got a CD copy because I didn't think I'd every need it but now I run into this problem.
    Also how am I suppose to get the menu bar to show on iTunes?, the iTunes help says to press alt button but it doesn't do anything

    Looks like I am not the only one. I just purchased an album and cannot download it. I can check for my purchased music, but it keeps timing out when I am downloading my music. If this takes as long as others on here have experienced I will stop the payment for the album at the bank and file a complaint with the attorney generals office. If they can demand their money up front then I can demand decent customer service!!!!

    Loaded new IOS 6 and ITunes Store won't open. Help.

    Try this:
    Go to Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>Off. Set the date one year ahead. Try to [update the apps again or press the button from Passbook]. If you get an error message, go back to the settings. Correct the date and time (set automatically) then go back and try [again].

    So I cannot redeem any itunes giftcards on itunes. It tells me the store is not available at this time. I am wondering what is up with that? How do I fix it?

    I spent £139 on the new nano 6 weeks ago, and then they screw us all over with a beta version of a redesigned iTunes!
    Never again!
    If this isn't resolved before I suffer any more trauma... I'm feeling such pangs of hatred right now!

    Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

  • ITunes is not responding after transferring files to iPod Touch

    I upgraded iTunes to iTunes 8.2.0.23 last week. I have a first generation iPod Touch (8 GB) running v. 2.2.1. Since upgrading iTunes, after copying new files onto my iPod Touch, both iTunes and the Touch indicate "Syncing in progress" for several minutes after the files have been copied. Eventually, the Touch's screen will stop displaying the syncing message and turn itself off but iTunes stays on "Syncing in progress". I am unable to eject the Touch (although I know I don't have to). In fact iTunes is completely locked up. When I go to the Windows Task Manager, it shows that iTunes is not responding. I end the task there and it closes iTunes. This happens every time I add new files to the Touch.
    I've read in various discussion pages about similar problems occuring but they all involve Version 3.0 Touch's or iPhones. Perhaps this is something particular with iTunes 8.2.0.23. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    The issue was, I store my music on my Windows Home Server and had my iTunes library connected to it over the network. When I transferred my music locally to my computer, the issue stopped. So, I guess the answer is, don't sync your iTunes library from a Windows Home Server.

  • I have done everything I can in all discussions. Itunes store not working.  I have Windows 7 , 64 bit.

    I have read all the replies to the "Itunes store not working".  I have done everything I can to use any of the solutions.  This is my 5th day.  I give up.  Need some help.  As I can see there seems to be a lot of those problems.

    I spent some time on the phone this morning with Apple. Here's a link they sent me: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923
    It's more than just uninstalling Itunes; there are 5 other apps that have to be uninstalled and in specific order. This particular Knowledge Base article applies to Windows Vista or Windows 7. For other Windows versions you'd have to look up the article for Windows XP.

    Thanks so much but none of that helped.  It was driving me crazy because it would back up another external drive.  I just changed the name of the drive from iPhoto/iTunes Library to Media Libraries and IT WORKED!! I guess for some reason it didn't like the drive being called iPhoto or iTunes ???? I don't understand but I have tried so many solutions and exchanging things out but the name change did it????!!!

    What is the problem? We cant help if you dont tell us what the problem is.
    Do you get an error message? Do you plug the devices in and nothing happens? Is content not syncing?

    I have rebooted
    I have DFUed.
    I have also the same issue with iTunes on pc, with -50 error.
    Is this an apple server error?!

    Thom_d, you mean your 4s work smoothly? my 4s also 32gb look to be more laggy especially playing asphalt8, infinity blade2, etc... the graphic will stop for few second while you racing.. Are you sure you didn't encounter this kind of problem? About battery life, it only last for 5hours without 3g services(only using wifi). Pretty shock saw what you mention above.

    I have been reviewing threads on this topic going back for years.
    without any solution.
    Is there anyone from APPLE monitoring this board?
    Everytime I do an upgrade to iTUNES there is another issue.
    At this point I am able to play all of my current libray but cannot acesss the iTUNES store.
    It appears to be logged in but a blank screen.
    All I did was upgrade.
    I would think that apple wants me to buy more music and movies and tv shows but I can't !!!!!!!!!!!
    Anyone have a solution ?  Sorry to be blunt but these boards are full of people Telling me that they have the same problem   - that is not helpful.
