ITunes Store Only Limited to 5 Podcasts?

I have about 15 podcasts on my site but it only keeps the five recent one on the iTunes store. Is there a limit as to how many podcasts someone can have on the iTunes?

This is the exact same problem that I am having and the reason that I came to the support forums!
My site is here: http://www.invertedhourglass.com where I use a basic files attached page to share the audio files directly, but I have my podcast feed here that is is only showing the latest five even though there are currently 6 episodes available! The podcast is here: http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=320987956 and i can't seem to find anything to change the settings, this is very annoying! This is all being made in garageband, iWeb and hosted on mobileme.

It depends on what country you are in - not all content types are available in all countries. A full list of what is available where is shown on this page . If you are in one of those countries where only podcasts and iTunes U are available, the unfortunately you won't be able to buy music and films from Apple (and the terms of use of the stores state that you cannot use another country's store). Are there other music purchase download sites in your country ?

Itunes store only display pictures

Hi all
Itunes store only display pictures and no information about songs, podcasts, movies, etc... also has a black back ground. I have downloaded itunes and reinstalled it but has worked. Any ideas?

UK iTunes store only has Apps and Books on the purchased tab...

UK iTunes store only has Apps and Books on the purchased tab. I've purchased alot of music recently on my iPhone and iPod and when trying to sync I got an error of -1009 so I decided to download from iCloud but it only has Apps and Books no music. Does anyone know what I can do?

Apple , The Performing Rights Association, copy right owners and music labels have no agreement or even timeframe in which remote storage of purchased music as defined by the iClound service can be offered in the UK.
Even off the record comments indicate perhaps sometime in 2012 at the earliest.
This may be an attempt to break the strangle hold of iTunes and allow further growth of Spotify or other services

Try quitting the App Store:
Tap the home button to get to the home screen. Then double tap the home button, and hold your finger over the App Store icon. Tap the red when it appears. Tap the home button again to return to the home screen.
Try resetting:
Hold the home and power buttons at the same time until the Apple boot logo appears. No data will be lost.

I had the same issue this morning downloading a pre-order of Alanis, Flavors of Entanglement . I noticed that the only thing that had changed fro me was that I had some song credits for purchasing ticketmaster tickets over the past few weeks. When I went ahead and spent my remaining credits... it downloaded with no prompting or trouble. Maybe the credits issues hangs it up?

Itunes Store Has not updated my podcast for 5 months

I have been maintaining 4 separate podcasts for about a year and I have one feed that will not update in the itunes store but if you subscribe to the feed then all of the episodes are there. I do not use any program to create the XML files, I just edit them with the required info. Any help with this would be great.

Your feed is littered with  ; these are intended to enclose comments and prevent them being shown except when viewing the feed directly for programming purposes. They are excluding large chunks of your feed from being read. How did they get there? You should look closely at the feed (which as it stands only seems to contain three viable episodes:
Numbers: Zhongwen Vol 1 Lesson 1
Dixie 400: A Flea Market in North Georgia
Jobs
and remove any of these tags you don't need. I can't check on iTunes until tomorrow morning but I would expect it not to show the other two episodes either.
Also FeedValidator comments 'Feeds should not be served with the "text/plain" media type' - I don't know whether this could be an issue: please see this note at FeedValidator:

HT5085 iTunes Store Country Limitation in iTunes Match

I have just bought a one year subscription to iTunes Match.
I am based in UAE and have access to the Apple AE iTunes Store and not to any content on the US Store.
My question is, suppose I upload a song that is available in iTunes Store US, will iTunes Match updated it for me from that Library or will the update be limited only to the local store items.

ITunes store access and downloading (including podcasts) is SLOW :(

This has been going on for a week now and it's getting quite frustrating. On my laptop, iTunes has all of a sudden decided that downloads are going to be super slow, to the point where most files are not downloaded and I get a -3259 error of some sort. I am running iTunes 7.5 and Windows XP. I had been using 7.5 for a while until this problem started. My desktop computer is also running XP and 7.5 and I have no problems downloading through iTunes at the usual speed.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes with no success. I even installed a new copy of Itunes and moved the iTunes pref file and the library and xml files and iTunes downloads were still slow. I have not installed or uninstalled any programs recently.
The podcasts downloads are quick, but only if I download them directly from the site hosting the file. If I use iTunes, the downloads are painfully slow and most of the time do not finish!
I have even attempted to plug in the DSL line into my laptop directly and iTunes was still slow with downloads. Also, it takes a couple of minutes to access the homepage of the iTunes store.
I really don't know if there is anything else I can do? This is really annoying since I had to use my other computer to download a TV show and then transfer it to my laptop with a thumb drive. Any ideas, anyone?

I was never able to figure out the cause of my problem, but I was able to resolve it somewhat. I created another user account and iTunes was back to normal. I then just moved my iTunes library file to the new user account (and I spent a few hours getting all the other stuff changed - such as email in Outlook, etc).
So I'm back to normal, so if anyone else has this problem, try a different user account on the same computer.

ITunes has stopped working (iTunes store only) Help!

Not sure what happened, but just week, I keep getting the message 'iTunes has stopped working.'
I just downloaded and installed iTunes 10.5.
It seems to only be a problem when I try to access the iTunes Store.
I checked from problems, and found this message:
Keep in mind I have NO idea what any of this means. I'm not the most computer savvy person around.

I have the same problem. I have tried to re-install Quicktime but it won't allow me. When I go to the Control Panel to the Programs to delete it, it shows the icon but it won't uninstall it as it says that it isn't there saying that the resource isn't available. When I download Quicktime from scratch and try to install it again, it says that it can't install as there is a newer version installed (it says 7.3.3 as the one installed and its also the one I'm trying to install). I've followed previous articles in trying to delete every trace of quicktime and itunes (to include the temp files and common files) and still it says that its gone but won't reinstall saying that there's a newer version already installed and it can't proceed. I've totally deleted all traces of all Apple items (per an apple article) and reinstalled everything but the Quicktime is still being a pain and not working. Any help given would be greatly appreciated.

Itunes Store does not show lastest podcast but it downloaded

So i am pretty much and stuck on this issue. I have seen a couple of other post but no answers. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.
The issue is the Itunes store does not show the last episode by it can still be downloaded and played.
The latest episode the Itunes store shows is 10/17/10 however it has been updated weekly.

I have used a couple of feed validaters and nothing seems wrong to me. Can anyone find an issue i have not looked at? Should i just try to contact Apple Support?

The iTunes Store caches the feed and checks periodically to see if it's been updated, so there is a delay before new episodes appear: however it's usually around 2 days, not almost a month. When subscribing the iTunes application reads the feed directly, so there is no delay.
Something is preventing the Store from updating the feed. This can happen if there is some oddity in the feed which throws the Store but not the application - usually a strange character of some sort. I looked for something like that in the first episode not to appear in the Store, but there is nothing odd there: you've used dots in the filename of your mp3 file and this isn't a good idea, but in fact doesn't seem to be causing a problem since some earlier episodes do the same thing. Ideally you shouldn't use dots in a URL.
The filename for the episode of 28 November includes the code %3A - this is the code for a colon - you definitely shouldn't have a colon in a filename. However since this episode comes later than several others which haven't appeared it may not be fatal - but it's not a good idea.
The other oddity is that you have two 'title' tags in the top section of your feed, both empty. You did have a title once, as it shows in the Store, but you've removed it at some point so that the feed is not titled. I don't know whether this is sufficient to prevent the Store from updating, but you should definitely replace the title - I see you are using Podcast Maker, so you need to enter the title there and republish - and see whether that helps.

I can find my Podcast in the Itunes store but not in the Podcast list.

If I search for my podcast in the Itunes store it shows up. So, I click subscribe, and everything looks like its working. When I check the Podcast section of my library I don't see it. I'm hoping the issue is just with the itunes on my computer. Any ideas?

It works perfectly well for me: I can't suggest why it isn't for you. When you click the 'Subscribe' link in the Store page you should see a 'Downloads' item appear in the sidebar below 'Purchased' showing the progress of downloading the top episode, and above all that in the top section of the sidebar under 'Podcasts' you should see the podcast.
If you don't: try going to the 'Advanced' menu, choosing 'Subscribe to podcast' and entering the URL of your feed and see what happens.

Itunes store only downloaded half a song

i downloaded a song song from iTunes the other day, when i try to play it, it only plays the first 15 seconds and then moves on to the next song. it does the same thing when i play it on my iPod. why is this happening and how can i fix it? thankyou.

This happened to me. What you need to do is move the song and any backups to the recycle bin. Then go to Itunes store and click 'Purchased' under Quick Links. Go to the song you want and there will be a cloud next to it. Click it and it will redownload. It should download the full song this time.
This happened to me yesterday when I bought a Volbeat album and again today when my brother bought a Rise Against album. I hope Apple fixes this. I just read about a question like this from back in 2007, so it's been going on for a while.

Hi I struggled with a similar problem for a while. I was ready to launch the pc out the window. Mine started with the latest upgrade and as I am no tech freak I could not work it out. Finally solved it today!! Only had the problem on my kids ipods who have their own Windows user for their itunes library. It was the parental controls that was screwing mine up. Has never happened on any other upgrade before only this latest 10.5.3 one. Disabled the parental controls restarted and everything working as normal. Sorry if this doesn't help you and you're a grown adult with no need for parental controls but hey ho if it helps someone.........x
