ITunes Store Stopped Working...Help Please!!!
Hi!
The itunes store had stopped working.
When I try to log into iTunes Store, The loading bar only goes half way, and I get a blank page with only the side bar that indicate the account's shortcut...
The accont is working well my lybrairies also.
Itried to reset the " intsh winsock reset and restart the PC" like i saw in pother's discussion on the same prblem, but not working , i updated itunes to 10.6 , nothing i tried helps ...
Can someone help?
Please!!!
I think there are problems with the store, I mentioned earlier today on other posts that pages in the store are blank when browsing. If you search for something you can find it, but there's no artwork or reviews.

Need a bit of help ,computer keeps saying "itunes has stopped working " and then "a problem has caused prog to stop working etc" when i follow links nothing happens and the same info comes up.Please help.
This Apple article will help you isolate the problem a little -> iTunes for Windows Vista or Windows 7: Troubleshooting unexpected quits, freezes, or launch issues
Does iTunes start in Safe Mode?
Open iTunes in Safe Mode to isolate any interfence with plug-ins or scrpits not manufactured by Apple.
Hold down the Shift and Control keys while opening iTunes. If performed correctly, you should see a dialog that says "iTunes is running in safe mode" before iTunes finishes starting up.
After clicking Continue, determine whether the issue you were experiencing persists in Safe Mode.
It would also be helpful if you can provide the Error Report from the Windows Action Center Reliabilty History. To view this go to Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Action Center > View Reliability History under Maintenance. Double click the iTunes critical event and copy it into your reply.
If you run into problems, see b noirs walkthrough in this thread -> Windows Apple Mobile Device -

Then go back into Norton and add iTunes like it is a new program, and save the settings.
This has worked for lots of folks. -
I have windows 7 and every time I try to play or add a song. It says itunes has stopped working. Please help this is frustrating.
a further message box states that Data Execution Prevention has closed the program.
Try updating your QuickTime to the most recent version. Does that clear up the DEP errors in iTunes? -
After updates, iTunes store stops working
Everytime iTunes has an update, my iTunes store stops working. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 14 times. This happened to me the last two time there was an iTunes update as well as this time with the 10.5 update. I have noticed that when I unistall, Quicktime isn't there. Could this have something to do with it?
Myself as well, have been having this same problem, around 20 minutes into any movie I open up in my itunes library, the sound stops playing. I have yet to find any fix for the problem, although I have a thought that it is probably something to do with the buffering. My songs play just fine, all day long, but any movie only plays for 20 minutes and then the sound goes out. Additionally, I had another issue that kept popping up an error message everytime I tried to open Itunes, this was finally fixed via copy paste a corruptted (spelling) .dll file. The only "workaround" for this issue, that I have found, is to open the movie in QuickTime, even though I am not really excited about the QuickTime player. If anyone finds a better solution, please drop a line. thank you in advance.

Experiencing issues such as this when connecting to the iTunes Store can be due to multiple causes and not always a simple fix. I would recommend going through each of the steps in the attached articles below. Be sure to test the results after processing each step.

PLEASE HELP ME..... MUCHO GRASSYASS!Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then take the action that isn't working the way you expect. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of which is irrelevant to solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.
Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Please don't post screenshots of log messages—post the text.
Some private information, such as your name or email address, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting. -
App Store And iTunes store Dont Work. PLEASE HELP!
Hi.
About 2 days ago, I updated My Early 2011 13 inch MacBook Pro 10.6.8 to OS X 10.8.2 Mountain Lion. At First Everything was fine, Until I turned my mac on the next day. I tried to access the App Store To Dowload Euro Truck Simulator but it took a while to load until it said "App Store Could Not Verify Connection To App Store" I was very suprised, and went online to look for some solutions but found none about this topic. So then I went onto iTunes Store and it did not work either. It Said "iTunes Store Could Not Create A Secure Connection to iTunes Store. I Am Really Desperate To Find A Solution Because I need it for school. And i need the app store to get some features like Office 2010 and stuff like that. Please Someone Help Me And If You Could Put It In The Simpolist Form Possible I Would Be Greatful. Oh and i am 13 in grade 9 so try not to put any complex things in there, but i do have a pritty goog understanding of coding just to let you know.
Cheers, Alex. Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether your problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode* and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Shut down your computer, wait 30 seconds, and then hold down the shift key while pressing the power button.
When you see the gray Apple logo, release the shift key.
If you are prompted to log in, type your password, and then hold down the shift key again as you click Log in.
*Note: If FileVault is enabled under OS X 10.7 or later, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t boot in safe mode. Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test. -
Having trouble accessing itunes store...help please
Been unable to access itunes store for 2 weeks.tried updating all latest downloads, internet connection works. taken itunes off and downloaded again...still no access to itunes store
any help?I am having the same issue... The following are the most common occurances:
1. Sometimes the progress bar will get to about 45% and then just sit there...
2. Every once and a while the store will half load but it looks like a poorly scripted website circa 1996... all text and hyperlinks (which don't work i might add.. see number 1.)
3. iTunes crashes all together when i clock on the store button.
4. Nothing happens at all... as if it wouldnt have the time to be bothered to load at all.
For the exhuberant amount of money that I and so many others are throwing at Cupertino, you would think they would have a half decent support team that reponds online... instead of tossing blue shirts onto 12-16 jokers into every store they had as if to say... come on in and lets have a go at this the hard way.
Frusterated. -
Please help. I have a new nano, but I cant access the iTunes store. When I click on the store it tells me I am accessing the store, but nothing happens. When I have clicked on the help function I am told my computer is not connected to the Internet, which is not correct - I usually have other sites running at the time.
Please help.
Thanks,
IonaTry switch off virus scanner and firewall.

I've had an iphone4 since April and recently the lock button stopped working, I was wondering since I hadn't had it for a year if it could get fixed for free
ONly way to find out is to go to your nearest Apple store and talk to the people at the genius bar.

My iTunes store will not load. It just says accessing store and freezes up! It was working fine until I upgraded to iTunes 9. I even did iTunes 9.0.1 which was supposed to fix it however it did not! I've read and tried everything related to iTunes Store in the support section and NOTHING has worked! If iTunes doesn't want my money any more that's fine with me I'll just go with Zune!
You aren't the only one...users here in Australia are having the exact same problem!
Have you tried contcting the support team via email? Maybe if a few more people do it, they will realise that it's not just me! LOL
I have told them to refer to this forum, so that they can see the amount of people having these same issues! Hopefully we will hear something soon -
Why does iTunes Store stop working when I try to view a certain category?
When I go to the iTunes store, I try to browse through the different apps. For example, I will click on "Entertainment" then on "Top Free Apps" then it will show a blank screen then my computer will say iTunes is not responding and shuts off. What can I do to fix this issue?
You don't have the typical symptoms that I associate the following issue with (normally the error kicks in just when folks visit the Store), but just in case try gn_id's suggestion from the following post:

Possible to recover photos deleted in an iOS retore?
Alright, so my boyfriend's iPhone 3GS screwed up on him earlier today, and deleted all his contacts. I told him to plug his phone into his MacBook, and accidently said "and it should restore your contacts." He misheard me, and did an actual restore.
