Itunes store takes forever

if i click on somthing at the itunes store home it takes forever to load
but if i go to the apple.com and click on a song in that itunes store this week box and then open up itunes store it dosent take forever
just until i go to the itunes store home
i have asked my brother if the itunes store takes forever and it does the same thing as mne does then he went to the apple website and clicked on a song in that box and it did not take forever

Store takes forever to load and when it does images fail and text is not setup right?

So I thought I had troubles loading the store with itunes, but now I notice it does load just takes forever and when it does the images are broken and the text is linear, not spread correctly like the page would have set it up. I have tried all the proxy/DNS flush suggestions that the site offers, I have even reinstalled intunes. I know it is not my provider because the wife's computer loads the store just fine. My only guess is that there is something I have done to disable itunes from working right or the fact that me and the wife use same provider but are not setup as a home network, any help would be great!

My girlfriend is having the same issue w/ Vista since she updated to iTunes 9. Can't figure out the problem for the life of me and contacted support and they sent me here. Has the the number of tracks waiting remained the same over the last couple of days? If so, it would appear that the match process has stalled. I suggest that you stop process and select update iTunes match from menu.

Itunes store takes up to an hour to load front page

we just got a new mac and itunes takes up to an hour to load the front page of the store, when it finally does load if you click on tv shows (all I have done so far) it takes over an hour and by then I just gave up. Our internet connection is super fast. It says all the updates are current.

Are you connected via a router? Could be the router setting. Try connecting directly to your modem and see what happens. Worth a shot.
From there, if it doesn't help, maybe look into your security settings. Play around with your firewall and anti-virus if you have them. Maybe disable them for a bit and see if the wait decreases.

Itunes 11 takes forever to load in windows 7

Hi I am running the latest version of iTunes for windows 7 64X. The program takes up to 5 minutes or so to load, and once it does, it does not start right away. Also I am having issues with it syncing with my iPhone 4. Please let me know what I should do to fix this issue.

It starts up slowly for me as well but it doesn't take that much time to load. Have you tried defragging your drives?

As the question says... and sometimes it doesn't load at all. Very inconvenient because I nearly always have to go on from my laptop if I wanna buy something. Is this a bug or something? I don't know but it's very problematic.

iTunes Match is associated with a specific Apple Id. If you use the same Id to enable iTunes Match on your IOS device you will see the same Songs.
Once iTune Match is enabled on a device (your shared computer for example), Apple cares about not allowing another Apple Id to be associated with that same device for a period of 90 days. Thus having more than one Apple Id associated with a single device to support multiple active iTunes Match subscriptions is simply not supported.
Whilst your music would be combined, you can from a single device associate more than one library with iTunes Match - until you can access separate devices this is perhaps the best compromise.

Why won't the iTunes Store take a new credit to replace an old one.

Sometimes when you get that message it is because you did not enter your 3 digit security number found on the back of the card by the signature line, or your address as entered into the iTunes database does not match exactly the address on the billing statement of the credit card.

ITunes takes forever to load

When i first got my computer and installed iTunes, everything worked fine. then when my Norton internet security expired it really slowed down. like it takes 10 minutes to just go to the iTunes homepage, ON A GOOD DAY. Movies take forever to load

I just bought an apple tv two days ago and a new router today as mine was about 6 years old. My apple tv has no problem picking up the songs in my itunes, but takes forever to load movies from itunes. all the movies are digital copies as well. any reason this happens? is it common and how is it fixed?

Likely to be slow LAN connection - if possible try a direct ethernet connection to router to see if it makes a difference.
Have you tried with the old router?
As digital copies will usually be less than 5Mbps and standard def you don't need blistering LAN rates, but if slower than this they will need to prebuffer.
If not a connectivity issue (describe how all equipment is connected in the LAN and wi-fi type if any), then consider itunes library corruption (create a new library with a few things in to test) and also security software that may see repeated access from AppleTV as a threat and be slowing/blocking it (eg NetBarrier).

Can't sign in to Itunes Store

I've gone through all the boards and have tried nearly every suggestion, But I still can't connect. Help.
1)I've been connected to itunes for 5 years with this pc. Downloaded songs a couple months ago.
2)Nothing changed on PC. All firewalls diabled, internet options correct. Etc.
3)Diagnostics show connections fine.
4)Can sign in account on internet.

For error 50 in the iTunes Store, take a look at the articles below. It will have you look at any security software to make sure that iTunes is not blocked to access the internet. You also try to access the websites listed to check against as well.
