ITunes store will not display in my iTunes

When I go to the iTunes Store in my iTunes app on my MacBook Pro it will not display anything in the store.  The store says it loads, but the display area is just blank (white) after it loads.  iTunes will display all my other stuff ok.  I have Yosemite and the latest update of iTunes on the Mac.  Any ideas??

Hello Danny_Mac,
The article linked below can restore your MacBook Pro's ability to load the iTunes Store in iTunes.

Did you see a solution for Windows 7 and similarly Windows XP from JerryFromKrakow at: iTunes for windows - App Store's blank page - final solution
    1. Fixed the itunes blank store window.
    2. Also fixed the backup/sync problem.
    3. Even solved the AppleMobileDeviceService.exe high cpu problem.
Please reply after trying Jerry's Windows 7 fix.

  • On my Windows 7 PC, the iTunes Store will not display the Home Page or search anything

My iTunes Store does not work on my Windows 7 PC. The progress bar shows accessing Store for a few seconds, but then just a blank screen where the Home Page should be.

Try working through TS1717: iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8: Fix unexpected quits or launch issues to start with.
Otherwise, for general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

  • Itunes Store will not load again.

Here we go again. Upgraded to iTunes 10.5, now iTunes Store will not load again in iTUnes. Tried the prior answer in Aug. 17, but does not work this time. Uninstalled iTunes and Apple App. Servce and Quicktime. Reinstalled iTunes from new download. Still not working. Using on XP sp3 machine. iTunes diagnostic says nothing wrong. It connects, but nothing shows in iTunes, just a blank screen. HELP....

That's exactly like saying, "Hey, try this.  It didn't work either.  Good luck!"
It's the high-percentage play with the particular symptom set being reported. High-percentage implies that it doesn't work for some people. (Otherwise it'd be a 100% play.) So, it still makes sense for people to try it, even if it doesn't work for some people, because it does work for most people. Check other posts by wiclee using that set of instructions to get a better feel for the reliability of the advice in these circumstances. (Granted, that's a bit tricky given that only about 10-20 percent of people report back to say whether or not any advice (on any given topic) actually works.)

  • ITunes Store will not load. Upgraded, diagnostic is ok, can get radio.

I've upgraded iTunes. I've run the diagnostic and it's ok. I can get the radio stations to play, but the iTunes store will not load. It takes about 3 minutes to "access" and then I get the Apple logo in the yellow top loading bar, and "iTunes Store" in the display area. No other messages. However, when I right click the iTunes icon on my computer (Windows Vista) and run as administrator, I get access to the iTunes store, but my music library has only 15-20 songs in it. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey, I read another discussion with the same issue and did a winstock reset. I thought it didn't work so I got ****** off an shut the computer down with yet another failed solution. When i logged back in it worked. Finally. I've been with out itunes store for over a month.

  • My itunes store will not load i keep getting a blank white screen

My itunes store will not load when i click on the store a blank white screen will come up and only that

I have a MacBook Pro and it could be a really simple solution. I had the same problem after updating my iTunes. I finally got through to a guy at Apple who took the time to help me. I use Firefox everyday, but apparently the iTunes Store runs off of Safari. All I had to do was download the most recent version of Safari. Literally, that was it. So easy. • HT3204 My itunes store will not open. I get a blank page. When diagnostics ran it said secure link to itunes failed. What do I do?

Itunes store will not open. I get a blank page. When I ran diagnostics error message said secure link to itunes failed. I have internet access, have turned off my security, and I can go to explorer and get on itunes.

    Close your iTunes,
    Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
    (Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
    netsh winsock reset
    Hit "ENTER" key
    Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes, Sync and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

  • Itunes store will not load please help

I am having a lot of trubble itunes store will not load can anyone help please help

I had the big stupid NoN response from the Itunes store and spent days researching.  Begin at
    http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/troubleshooting/
    Lotsa good stuff there.
In the end I found a software conflict with Speedbit's SpeedOptimizer v2.xx   aka  SPO.exe in my taskmanager's process list.
I found that by watching Norton Firewall complain about stuff while running in ADVANCED mode.
    Happy hunting.

  • Itunes store will not load to create a new account

There are four members of my family.  Each family member has their own Windows user account, three with an itunes account.  I have been trying to create an account for my youngest son for three hours.  The itunes store will not load and gives a "not connected" message. The internet is working fine, and all three of the rest of us can access itunes and the store.  I have turned off all parental controls that could have been messing istore up.  How do I fix this?

    Close your iTunes,
    Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
    (Win XP SP2 n above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
    netsh winsock reset
    Hit "ENTER" key
    Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.

  • ITunes store will not load. Im at a loss

For about 3 days now the iTunes store will not load. It merely reaches this point:
    +One Moment Please.+
    +Connecting to the iTunes Store.+
    Loading
+If iTunes doesn't open, click the iTunes application icon in your Dock or Windows Task Bar.+
(note this message is not from Safari it is from the iTunes Store window in iTunes) I have looked at the FAQ on this site and it's best suggestion was to reset the keychain which I have done, and to check that I have the latest iTunes which I think I do. (iTunes 9.0.3 (15)) Yet it has not worked.
When I try to update my applications for my iTouch it comes up with a message box saying:
+Could not complete the iTunes Store request. The store may be busy.+
+Check your Internet connection or try again later+
As I said I have waited 3 days for the iTunes store not to be busy. I'm fairly new to macs so don't even really know how to go about diagnosing the issue or posting logs for you guys to look at if that would even help?
So your advice would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Brad

iTunes 9+ uses the Safari 4.0.3 or higher engine to connect to the iTunes Store. Check if your Safari is up to date. If you need an update, get it here (be sure to tick the Snow Leopard version): http://www.apple.com/safari/download/
Also, check in Safari > Preferences > Security and check that your cookies setting is either Always or Only from sites I visit.
If your problem still persists, look at this document for some solutions: iTunes for Mac: Possible iTunes Store errors, http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1412

  • ITunes Store will not load properly and returns too homepage in seconds

iTunes Store will not load properly and returns too homepage in seconds what do I do too fix it

I am having the same problem now, did you ever find a way to fix it?

  • After downloading latest quicktime update, itunes store will not load

Has anyone had this same problem after downloading latest quicktime update. iTunes store will not load.

This happened to me today as well post installing the latest version of itunes.   I did a search on google for the error and came across a recommendation to :
Note: Start Windows in Safe Mode to complete any of the following steps if you're unable to access Windows normally due to the msvcr80.dll error.
If, and only if, you're receiving the msvcr80.dll is missing error when you open Apple iTunes, do the following: (skip this step if your msvcr80.dll error is occurring with a different program)
Uninstall from Windows the following five programs in this order: iTunes, Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Device Support, Bonjour, and finally Apple Application Support. If you have iCloud, remove it as well.
Uninstalling these programs in Windows is done from an applet in Control Panel called Programs & Features (in Windows 8, 7, or Vista) or Add or Remove Programs (in Windows XP).
Note: Songs and playlists in iTunes will not be removed when you uninstall the iTunes program or any of the other, already-mentioned Apple programs. If you'd still like to back them up, they're usually located in the My Music folder in Windows.
Download the latest version of iTunes from Appleand note the location you're saving it to so you can find it once it's done.
Run the iTunes installation as an administrator. If you're not sure how to do that, see How Do I Open an Elevated Command Prompt? for help. That procedure shows you how to open the Command Prompt program as an administrator, but the steps are essentially the same for anything, including the iTunes installation package you just downloaded.
A general overview of removing and reinstalling iTunes can also be found here on Apple's site but the above procedure seems to work better in this particular situation.

Itunes store will not open with AVG family filter installed

A long shot, but make sure Safari is set to accept cookies either "Always" or "only from sites I visit". If you have cookies turned off completely, that may cause a problem.
