ITunes Store won't let me buy a song..
The store says, "The availability of the item changed while you were using the store. The same item may be available with a different price or elsewhere in the store."
I saw this last week, and have tried a few times to buy this song and this keeps coming up. I've tried buying the same song from a different album and it says the same thing.
Is it really the song that's not available? Or is there something else that could possibly be wrong?

What song are you trying to purchase? Can you purchase other items, like the free single of the week?
Are you running the most up to date version of iTunes? Is the date and time on your computer correct?

ok, i just got up the nerve to buy a $50 itunes card first time, now i feel like i was duped, it won't let me buy anything, i redeemed the points, look in the store and decided the first thing i wanted to get was the ipod touch upgrade, i click on it and it asks me for my apple id password, i enter it correctly click "Buy" and then asks me for the password again and this time instead of the button saying "buy" its says "billing info" now it now takes me to the page and all the info is right, im not using a card because i don't have one and i don't think i should need one because i have the itunes points which is clearly displayed beside my account name on the itunes program. now after i click done it just takes me back to the itunes store home page... so then i think maybe the update just isn't available at the moment, so then i look up the app "video safe" and try to buy it, same exactly thing happens, someone plzz help, im confused as to y i am not able to buy anything, i have the points, id like to use them

Itunes Store Won't Let Me Buy Final Cut Pro X
I am trying to buy Final Cut Pro X but every time I click on the Buy App button I get a pop-up saying that I need to contact Itunes Support, which is another story.
I wan't to begin to play with the software today prior to training but it looks as though that won't be the case. Does anyone have any thoughts on what the issue might be and how do I correct it?
GeorgeThere is no way to telephone the Itunes Store. You have to go by e-mail support. It may be an account problem but they should tell me that. I am waiting on a e-mail from them.

Itunes store won't let me buy!
I've put in my code for my ITunes store gift card, and when I try to buy an album it says I dont have write access for my Itunes media folder or a folder within it. And to change my permissions in my finder. I have no idea how to do this!!

in finder, right-click on it and +get info+. unlock the little padlock (you may have to enter your admin password) and change the permission settings for "you" to read & write. next, click on the little gear-shaped icon and +apply to enclosed items+ like so
you may also give everyone read & write access. if this doesn't help, try the same on your iTunes folder (not just the iTunes music folder).

Itunes store won't let me connect
For the past week the Itunes store won't let me connect. It says "itunes requires Safari 4.0.3 or later to be installed to use the itunes store within itunes...use software update"
I checked my software update and it says I have the latest version of Safari (I download it last week as well).

Can you make sure cookies are blocked in Safari? Then sign out and sign back into iTS. -
i forgot my security question and it won't let me buy any songs but whenever i go to manage my apple id it says i need to tell the answers to the security questions but i don't know them someone please help
You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.

Here's the story: I got a new computer (the one I'm using to post this
) , I transferred all of my music to this computer. I then installed the newer version of iTunes and I'm trying to log on to iTMS but it wont let me. It says my AOL screen name has never been used with the iTunes Store but I'vce been using it for years.
Please help I havent been able to sync my iPod to my new computer for weeks because it wont let me transfer my game puchases to my computer because I have to verify. If i just erase and sync my games will be gone. Also I want to buy songs. When I sign in and choose the option to change my default email, it takes me back out to the sign-in screen.

My itunes playlists won't let me drop any songs into them.
my itunes 9 playlists won't let me drop any songs into them. If I try to drag a song from my library and drop it, the playlist won't highlight. So strange. This just started happening. Any thoughts?
When I go into Payment Method it says "Paypal is not supported on this device. To manage or change your payment method, go to the iTune Store on your computer. Then in "Red" it says "There's a billing problem with a previous purchase. Please enter another payment method." I have went into the iTune store and have changed my payment method and also called Paypal and my account has no problem. It still keeps getting this same message when I try to purchase an app.

ITunes Store won't let me access Wish List
I have been trying all morning to purchase some music, but I keep getting a timed out error from the iTunes store. I am not able to access "Add to Wish List" from the drop down menu, nor will it let me access my own "Wish List" from the drop down under my account name. I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes completely but nothing has changed.
You are not the only one who is confused. But, yes, Virginia, there is NO way to use the Wishlist that I can find...at least according to Apple. (PLEASE correct me if I am wrong; I have been working on this for about an hour now...)

According to the directions on the KB article "go to the Quicklinks, and in the Quick Links box on the right click the My Wish List link." Not true; the link is NOT there. However, you can navigate to the Wishlist little white dropdown triangle on the far right, next to your email address (it will appear when you hover the mouse over it). Ok, there's the Wishlist; let's manage it, ok? Nope, can't do that, either; the page has no way to manage it-can't add or delete, ONLY purchase. Hmm, well, let's try the rest of the instructions. Ok, go to a song, right click the 'buy' button, and choose Wishlist from the dropdown menu...oops! That doesn't work either! Buying is, again, the only option.
Someone clearly needs to get fired, since this article was updated only 2 days ago. How do you get THE ENTIRE article wrong? Come on, Apple, you can do better than that.

ITunes store won't let me click on albums
I use iTunes 10.6.3 on my iMac and a more recent version on my laptop. I find that when I use the iTunes store on the desktop, I click on an album and it tells me:
We could not complete your iTunes Store request.
The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.
The thing is, everything else on the iTunes store works perfectly. It just won't let me go to the page of any album. What's up with that? It works fine on my laptop. Why not on my desktop?Never mind! It's worked itself out!

ITunes Store won't let me create an account
I recently got an iTunes Music Card and to use it I have to have an account with iTunes Store. But it won't let me create an account. Everytime I try to make one the Windows Installer opens and tries to install Microsoft Small Business. So when I close that suddenly there is an error and iTunes has to close. So I don't get to create an account. What do I do?

Itunes store won't let me download applications
When i go onto the itunes store and find an application i want it won't let me download it! i click on the "get app" button and i can see the button being pushed down, but nothing happens! i have tried restarting my computer and downloading itunes again...but nothing works!

If you have and are still having this problem, try going to (in iTunes) Store > Deactivate Account and deactivate your account. Then reactivate it and try your download again.
