ITunes streaming problem, everything else works fine.

I'm having a curious issue that's proven problematic to troubleshoot.  I'm hoping someone else has already run into this issue and can possibly provide some feedback.
Recently, and randomly, our AppleTV has refused to stream movies out of our iTunes Library.  It'll primarily sit at the loading screen until it times out, and on rare occasion it'll start a movie and then proceed to hang.  The curiosity of this is that iTunes and our movie library is the only service on AppleTV to experience this failure.  Netflix and Hulu both stream perfectly at high resolution without any issue what so ever.
I'm located in Green Bay, WI, and haven't had any issues with my ISP and streaming (for the most part) I also checked my router for anything in particular, and couldn't find anything that would indicate a service blockage related to Apple.
God help me if my two young girls can't watch Frozen, curious if anyone has had a similar issue.

I have been having the same issue with my Apple TV Gen3 boxes.  My Gen 2 devices work fine.
I did find out that if I restart (settings>general>restart) the Apple TV, that it works until I let the Apple TV go to sleep.
I average rebooting my Apple TV Gen3 devices at least once a day.

    Something may be corrupt in your iTunes installation. The backup problem may or may not be related. The first step is reboot your system, disable your antivirus and firewall and try again. The next thing to try is completely removing iTunes and reinstalling: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925.
    Also, if you used TinyUmbrella or Recboot as unauthorized apps to help with the update they corrupted your network settings on your computer. You will have to edit your hosts file and remove all references to Apple servers.

    The only other thing I can suggest is to use the Repair option for iTunes.
    Download the iTunes programme (do not uninstall your current iTunes) and then "install" the new copy. At some stage you should see an option to "install" or "Repair". Take the Repair option.
    Once you've done that, if you still have a problem, I don't know what else to suggest, except to search through the discussions to see if anyone else has had the problem and managed to fix it.

    Have you tried disconnecting and re-connecting to your network ?. And when you say rebooted do you mean a reset ? If not then try that : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
    You could also try closing those apps completely. From the home screen (i.e. not with any of those apps 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the iTunes, App Store and iBooks apps to close them, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.

    i have no Audio, sounds or volume afte the update/upgrade to Windows 10. This is NOT the case yesterday when I did not have Windows 10 updated/upgraded into my Sony Vaio Laptop. Everything else works fine, it's taking a usb logitech mouse among other things. My Audio jack will not function so earbuds will not do the trick. I have found a old PS3 usb headseat seems to work, following that logic a usb speaker set would do the same. If you have a HD Cable you can link your laptop to a HD TV and use the TV's speakers.     Then my last suggestion is to Reset it, while connected to the BMW Audio.
    Toggle the Hold switch, make sure you dont see the red mark when you do the  next step
    Reset the iPod -> Press Menu and Center button simultaneously for about 10 secs or till the Apple Logo comes ON
    Then release the buttons
    Select your preferred language.

    Something to chek, open a document, press CMMAND P, this will bring up the print screen, you can click on the arrow to expand the options
    Then click on the presets and make sure that the preset you want is selected.
    From the preset drop menu you can select Plain paper best or fast draft, which should then be color.

    Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with the iTunes Store on your iPad 2.  For the issue you are experiencing, I recommend signing out and back into the iTunes Store on your iPad 2:
    Changing your Apple ID account
    Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores, then tap the Apple ID signed in.
    Sign out of the current Apple ID account and then sign in with another account or create a new Apple ID.
    The last step states to sign in with another account, but for the situation you described, I recommend just signing in with your same Apple ID.

  • ITunes store has no pictures, but everything else works fine

    Suddenly after almost 1 year of using iTunes with no problems I logged on and found that no pictures display in the online store. I am connected and everything works fine...in other words, I can select an artist or song or movie and the page will change accordingly. I can play samples and all text is visible...just no pictures or graphics of any kind. I am at the latest software revision. What's the deal?

    In my case I also lost the scroll bars and the menus were out of alignment. Tried trashing plist with no success. Then tried Quicktime reinstall after trashing the quicktime plist. Problem solved! Obviously a Quicktime problem. Cheers

  • Firefox worked fine until upgraded to Windows 7 - would processor speed be the problem - everything else is fine.

    I have Firefox 28 which worked fine when I had Windows XP. Upgraded to WIndows 7 (updated all my drivers, etc). Now Firefox has times when it will not respond. Have tried most suggested fixes I could find on here and on-line. Nothing fixes it. It worked fine before the upgrade. This may sound like a dumb question to computer savy people, but would the older dual core processor be having a problem now that I am running Windows 7? Everything works great on the computer except for Firefox and Internet Explorer. I download Google Chrome and so far have not had an issue when using it. I don't care for it and would like to go back to Firefox, but the fixes don't fix it. I have uninstalled and re-installed and disabled plug-ins and removed and added and updated plug-ins, ran various virus/spyware scans, reset, downgraded to an older version, upgraded again, and a ton of other fixes. I wish I could figure out what changed from Windows XP to Windows 7 that would affect both browsers.

    I doubt that the processor is the problem here. It might be that something went wrong with your browsing profile during the operating system upgrade.
    One thing you can try is to reset your profile: in the "Help" menu, there is an entry "Troubleshooting Information". Clicking on that takes you to a page containing technical information about your machine and browser configuration. Additionally, it has a "Reset Firefox" button in the upper-right corner. Clicking on that starts a process that allows you to create a new, clean profile that contains your browsing history and bookmarks, but does away with potentially-problematic settings in your profile. (Don't worry, your original profile will be left untouched and you can return to it later.)
    In many cases, this process solves issues people have with their browser misbehaving, so I hope it works for you, too.

  • YVM302 error, everything else working fine

    Hi there, my fairly new HUMAX YouView box started playing up last night, we had no Freeview tv channels for about an hour with error message YVM302 being displayed.  I rebooted twice, and it suddenly sprung back into life again.   Tonight, I have rebooted, retuned, all to no avail, we have no Freeview channels at all.   Everything else is working fine, and the aerial cable works fine when plugged directly into the TV, so why is the YouView box telling me there is no signal from the aerial?

    Hi Rod,  the re-boot worked for me the previous night so thinking about it I'm not sure it was the update yesterday as the box started displaying the weak/no signal message the night before.   I left it switched off at the mains overnight last night, started it up again just now and it still hasn't found any channels.  Re-tuning speeds through and comes up with zero channels found.
    Guess it will be a calll to BT this morning.  At least the TV still works through the aerial, and we can still watch On Demand and BT Vision through the box, but really that isn't the point is it!

    Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).<br />
