Is there a step bt step guide on iTunes for the Media Hub.
I purchased the 410 to be devoted to iTunes ONLY.
Can anyone tell me where to get A-Z info so I can take advantage of the basic and advanced functions?

That's consistent with trouble with the Segoe UI fonts on your system.

Maybe your credit card expired.
You should try and contact the iTunes support.
If you have iTunes installed on a computer, open the application and log in.
Select iTunes Store on the left and scroll down.
Under Help, click on "Support"
That allows you to get in contact with the iTunes support team. You can explain what the problem is. They are usually very good with this kind of issues and very helpful.

How to contact Itunes support and get a person

We changed our credit card info and get the message we need to contact Itunes support to complete the transaction. I have been through the support section over and over again and cannot find out how I actually reach a person. I have called the credit card company and there is no hold on my credit card. Does anyone know how to resolve this?

There is nothing that you can do if you didn't have a backup. You have to restore the iPad in order to unlock it. If you have never backed up or synced with iTunes you are pretty much sunk.
But If you have a backup in iTunes, you can restore from the backup and then sync with iTunes (or download from iCloud) and recover everything up to the point/date of the last backup.
You can restore with any other computer, but you will lose everything on the iPad.

Make sure that you pay attention to the section at the very of the article that talks about having never synced your iPad with iTunes. You may need have to restore the iPad that way.
