ITunes Sync with IOS 7.0.2

I had to delete all of my music to make space on my iPhone 5. I have the latest IOS 7.0.2 and iTunes 11.1.1.11. I can not get my phone to sync my music. I did a restore on the phone, hoping it would allow me to put my music back on. It did not work and getting my apps back on were a chore. It would sync like 3 then cancel the sync by itself. I would restart the sync then it would do another 3 or 4 then stop. I was able to download all of my apps onto my phone through the app store. I go to sync my music with my phone and it says I have enough space and goes through the back up determing what to sync etc. It never puts my music on my phone and it never leaves the finishing sync last step part of the sync. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated! p.s. unfortunately I am running Windows 7

  • Where are imported photos saved, during a iTunes sync with IOS devices?

When i sync my iPhone/iPad, on one of the steps it says importing photos.
Are these photos being transfered form my iPad to my PC, or the other way around?

They are being synced from your computer to your iPad - you can specify which photos that you want to sync to your iPad via the Photos tab : syncing photos.
If you want to copy photos taken with the iPad, copied onto it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites to your computer then it's done outside of iTunes : photos to computer.

iTunes 11.1.1 running on MacBook Air will not sync with ios 7.02 - "waiting for changes to be applied". I have been having this issue since upgrading to 11.1. I thought the upgrade to 11.1.1 will take care of it

Anyone having this same problem? I need my iPad to sync! efclvkjhbsdfvlkj
Yes, my iPhone 5 running ios 7 will not sync in *any* way with itunes now.  I can neither add nor remove content via itunes.  I just tried to delete 100% of my music from my iphone, it hung forever on "Waiting for changes to be applied" and then when it was finally done... no changes had been applied.
I can't add, remove, change, delete or in any way of any kind sync my iphone with itunes any longer.
I'm becoming the person who refuses to update to the new Apple OS.  I used to get very excited about new OS updates.  That all ended around Mountain Lion.  Yesterday when I saw that Mavericks was out I wasn't excited.  Instead I felt a sense of dread, and for good reason.  Every time they release an OS in the last few years it's just a cluster-F.

  • ITunes sync with Outlook 2013 preparing to sync runs forever

iTunes sync with Outlook 2013 preparing to sync runs forever, what is the problem?

I have updated addresses and names in the iPhone. When I sync with Outlook it takes the updated name portion, but does not pick up the address from the iPhone. The Whitepages app (pretty handy app) will update my iPhone contact list, but I cannot then transfer that information over to my Outlook contact list. This all needs to work together. Solutions?

    Answer Jbieber16:
Normally, when I sync my HTC (Pocket PC) with my notebook, I just plug USB cord to HTC (micro USB head) and notebook (regular USB head).  Microsoft Mobile Device Center will automatically start and then sync data between HTC and notebook (sync Microsoft Outlook data, musics, photo, and Microsoft Office files in designated folder).
When sync completed, Microsoft Outlook's contacts, calendar, notes, emails as well as musics, photo, and Microsoft Office files in HTC and Notebook will be identical and updated.
Without USB cord, it can be synced via Bluetooth (cordless).
Note: I posted this question because some of my friends using iPhone told me that "data of Microsoft Outlook will partially sync to iPhone via iTune, not all data".  So I check before sync Microsoft Outlook data with my new iPad2.

  • ITunes Match - Sync with iOS device

I am thinking about buying iTunes Match, but i first wanna make clear some things up...
    here are my questions:
    1. Will I ever have to sync my iPhone again with my computer (over WIFI or Cable) or will my iPhone automatically download the music! Or will i have to individually download the music on to my phone? Because now if I load a new CD in my iTunes i just plug my phone into my MacBook and after that all my selected playlists will be updated and ready to listen to (without any internet conection obviousely), how will this be with iTunes Match?
e.g.: I have this new cool tune that I import and put into my list "my favorite songs"! Will this song immediately be on the same list on my phone? online or offline?
    2. What do I have to do if i wanna delete an album on my computer? But I mean delete it forever, also out of the cloud! how do i do this, and will these tunes also dissapear on my iPhone (like they do now as soon as I sync my iOS device with my Mac)? Will I have this music present in my cloud forever?
    Thank you for your help!
    Cheers
    Yannick B.

    Hello Yannick B.
Once you have enabled iTunes Match and then add music from a CD, it will automatically add those to iTunes Match for you or you can go to a drop down menu Store > Update iTunes Match to add the tracks. If you have iTunes Match enabled on your iPhone, you will see the changes rather quickly once uploaded.
If you want to delete music from iTunes Match, just delete the tracks and a prompt will ask if you want to delete from iCloud. That should answer those questions for you.

  • ITunes Match not syncing with iOS 8.1

    Hello,
It appears tome that iOS8.1 has introduced a new issue with iTunes Match.
If you enable it on the iPhone it will sync properly the first time but after that it will stop syncing.
If I add any new songs, edit songs or albums infos, perform any action, I won't see any of this in my iPhone with iOS 8.1
I even don't have lyrics for songs, which I had with 8.0.2
Do any of you experience the same issue?

I've had this issue since iOS 8. From what I can tell, this issue is isolated to iOS 8; not an iTunes issue or a specific iOS device issue.
Here's my evidence to support that:
    1. I have never, ever had this issue with iTunes Match, and I've used the service since it was introduced. The issue started when I first updated to iOS 8 on my iPhone 5.
    2. I then purchased an iPhone 6 Plus. Issue persists
    3. I then decided to switch out my 6 Plus for a 6. Issue persists.
    4. Here's the kicker: I kept my 3rd generation iPad on iOS 7.1.2. If I add music to iTunes Match, it immediately appears on my iPad.
I've tried several workarounds in an attempt to fix it: Airplane Mode toggle, reboot, restore/setup as new.
I've only found one solution, and it works every time. Turn off iTunes Match on my iPhone, turn it back on, and voila, my newly added music will appear. Very inconvenient though, as this process deletes any of the songs I previously downloaded to my iPhone via iTunes Match.

  • Macbook Pro 10.5.8 won't allow upgrade of iTunes to sync with iOS 7

Macbook Pro Mac OS X 10.5.8, won't allow upgrade of iTunes 11 to link in with iOS 7 iPhone update.
Do I need to upgrade to Snow Leopard operating system? Or Mountain Leopard operating system?
    Help please!

You need to upgrade your version of OS X. Whether it is to Snow Leopard, Lion or Mt Lion (Not Mountain Snow Leopard) for the newest iTunes to work with iOS 7 I'm not sure. I don't own an iPhone and if I did I wouldn't be installing iOS 7 on it.
Oh and let me add you must first upgrade your Mac to Snow Leopard to be able to upgrade it to any of the newer version of OS X. Both Lion and Mt Lion are only availble from the Mac App Store which can only be accessed from Snow Leopard 10.6.7, or above 10.6.8, or from both Lion and Mt Lion.
So no matter which newer version of OS X you end up with you'll need to first upgrade to Snow Leopard.

  • ITunes sync with iPhoto Problem

    Hi everybody,
i'm experiencing a tedious issue with iTunes and the iPhoto syncronization with i-devices.
I'm running iTunes 10.4 , iPhoto 9.1.5 and i have an iPhone 4 and an iPad both running iOS 4.3.5.
When i sync my iPhone with iTunes i usually chose only 3 separated iPhoto events and no problems occurs in copying the photos on the device.
When i sync my iPad instead i get the following problem:
the same as with the iPhone i choose a limited number of iPhoto events to sync with the iPad but the photos count shown in the iTunes screen is a lot different then the real number of the photos in the iPhoto events. To be clear:
Event 1 contains 300 photos in iPhoto
In the syncing screen of iTunes for the iPad Event 1 contains only 3 photo.
As a result only 3 photo are transferred to the iPad.
I tried to repair and rebuild the iPhoto library (alt+cmd+start iphoto) selecting all the options except the rebuild database from backup option. Nothing changed.
I tried to reset iphoto syncing with the iPad doing as follow:
    connect iPad
    select "don'y sync photos"
choose "Erase all photo from the Device"
    disconnect
    Reboot both devices
    reconnect iPad
    choose sync again.
    Nothing changed again
At last i tried to erase the content of the "ipod photo cache" folder as suggested in other threads in this forums but when i reconnected the iPad and tried to resync nothing changed.
Beaside that i tried even to control and repair permissions on the entire HD with Disc Utility but again i had no differences with the problem.
Does anybody experienced the same problem? There is any known solution? Anything else i could try?
Thanks everybody in advance for any support given.
    Giuliano.

I am having a similar issue.  My iPhone 4, my wife's iPhone 3GS and my iPad 2 will start to sync with iTunes on my MacBook (running Lion) and when it begins to import photos from iPhoto, I get a (-50) error and the sync quits. Some events sync just fine but others trigger the error message.
I have deleted the iPod Photo Cache, reinstalled iTunes, reinstalled iPhoto, repaired and rebuilt my iPhoto library, restored my iPhone to factory settings, repaired permissions on my MacBook and anything else I could think of or found in previous postings.  Nothing has worked.
Please help!  This is incredibly frustrating and no one at Apple has been able to help.  Thank you!

  • Date changes in Aperture not syncing with IOS 7 iPhone iPad

Hi, there are a certain number of photos in my Aperture library which are showing the correct date or have had the date and time adjusted but when synced to iPhone or iPad the dates are completely wrong. It seems to be fairly random, any clues?
    Thanks

I recently experienced the same problem wth images that had adjusted dates in Aperture. Though I can't offer an explanation as to what went wrong, I did manage to solve it.
In iTunes deselect any synced photo albums which contain images that are displaying incorrect dates in iOS7 - sync your iOS device (the albums and images will be removed). Now select the photo albums again in iTunes, resync your device - the images will be added again with the correct dates (well that was my experience. Best of luck).

  • IPhoto sync with iOS Devices does not work

    I have an 2007 iMac with OS X 10.9.1, iTunes 11.1.3 and iPhoto 9.5.1.
I have an iPad 2 with iOS 7.0.4 and iPhone 4 with iOS 7.0.4.
Around the update to OS X 10.9 I have the problem that I can't sync my iPhoto pictures with my iOS devices anymore.
Beforehand I had no problem. But I can't tell exactly when this problem pop up the first time. (iOS 7, OSX 10.9, iTunes or iPhoto update???)
The problem is: I can sync all my content with my iOS devices per iTunes without any problemsbut not the fotos from the iPhoto library.
If I go to the Foto sync page in iTunes I see all my iPhoto Albums, Events, ... I can select and desect all these items. But if I sync this items I see that in the used memory bar no pictures are shown, the foto count do not show any number and on the iOS device all pictures are removed.
To fix this problem I have tried some options.
I have disabled the foto sync in iTunes, close iTunes, close iPhoto, remove the iPod cache from the iPhoto library, recreated the iPhoto database, obened iPhot and iTunes again, connectd the iOS device and try to sync some albums from the iPhoto libray again. But no pictuers are synced.
I have created a new iPhoto library and added some fotos to the new library, created some albums. Then I tried to sync the iOS device with this library. The first sync wored. :-). But then I disconnected the iOS device and later I connected it again and synced another time and all fotos are gone again.
The only way I can sync my fotos is to switch to folder sync instead of iPhoto library sync. This work, but this is a very bad option!
What can I do to fix this problem?

Open the iPhoto Libraray with the Finder as shown in this screenshot
and locate the folder titled iPod Photo Cache and move it to the Desktop.
Close iPhoto, lanuch and try again.

  • Why won't iTunes sync with Iphone 4s after upgrade?

I recently upgraded to iTunes 10.7.0.21, now my iPhone 4s will not sync via iCloud or my computer.  When I plug the phone in, it starts a sync session like normal but it will not complete the sync.  I get an error message that says "iTunes could not sync information to the iPhone "Scotty's" because a connection could not be established to the iPhone.  Yet, the phone shows up in iTunes.

I'm having the same issue.  iTunes sees my iPhone 4 and I can access the contents via itunes, but the sync won't work - it starts to sync, then states, "waiting for sync to start," then after a few minutes ends up with an error, stating, "The iPhone "XXXX" could not be synced because the sync session failed to start."  This happens whether I try to sync with iCloud or my computer.
I tried rebooting the iPhone, rerstarting the computer (Mac Pro with 10.8.1), switching out the cable - all to no effect.
I downloaded iOS 6, but I didn't want to install it until I can successfully perform a backup with my computer - just in canse iOS 6 install fails.
    Any ideas or suggestions?

  • ITunes sync with different Apple IDs

I've got iTunes on my Mac, with my personal Apple ID and content purchased with it, and sync a couple personal iOS devices with it.  All is good.
Now here's the complication.  My wife's business has a couple iPads that are currently synced with a Windows machine at her office.  I need an easier way to maintain them, though, and would like to sync them with my personal machine instead.  But they have content purchased with the Apple ID I set up for my wife's business...  is it possible to sync all these devices and their content with the same machine, despite having two different Apple IDs involved?  Or am I stuck using one machine for my personal stuff and a different machine for the business stuff?
    Thanks in advance!

    yes.
a single iTunes can be authorized for up to five Apple ID's. this should work:
    1) ensure iTunes is authorized for both Apple ID's
    2) connect the devices (one after the other) and right-click or control-click them in the iTunes Devices list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
    3) sync the device
iTunes will wipe the iPads but, since you transferred the purchases in the previous step, your content will be in iTunes and you can re-populate the iPad with it.
once this is done, the iPads will be associated with your Mac's iTunes library.

  • ITunes Sync with iPad restores deleted apps

I've thought I've locked this down, but I guess I am not understanding settings or such things. I have an iPad2 updated to latest iOS, and iTunes also with most recent update. I do not sync wirelessly. When I plug my iPad into my PC it automatically starts to sync with no problems. The part that I am trying to avoid is that it automatically reinstalls anything that I've manually deleted off the iPad whether it be apps, songs, documents, etc. . .
I am looking for iTunes to back these sorts of things up and to add changes on the iPad to the PC side of things, but NOT for iTunes to automatically restore things that have been removed from the iPad since the last sync. I've deleted a bunch of apps that I don't use and take up too much space. Same with songs and documents, but today when I plugged it into my PC, iTunes restored everything until I had out of space errors. That being said it created new pages to add all the restored apps to and now I have to go through and delete all those again. My fear is that after all the work I put into make these changes is that next sync it will repeat the same problem. Like I said earier, I thought I had made the proper setting changes, but apparently not.
    Any help is appreciated,
    Thanks!

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer/files/docs/music/pics/etc.
Use this to put everything back on the hard drive.
The ipad syncs with one library. When you installed a new hard drive, the it became a new library. The ipads content will be erased and replaced with content from the new library. That is the way it works. Another reason why you should use your backup copy to put everything back on your new hard drive.
