ITunes synchronisation with iCloud in Switzerland

Hello guys
I can't synchronize my music from my iphone with my imac wirelessly, because this service isn't available yet in Switzerland.
Now, my question is, when WILL it be available?

As fellow users, none of us here know when Apple will release anything they haven't provided a specific date for. If iTunes in the Cloud isn't available in Switzerland yet - are you sure it isn't? It requires iOS 5 and iTunes 10, just to make sure you know - anyone could do would be guess, and your guess is as good as ours.
Wireless synchronization between the iPhone and your iMac doesn't require iCloud, though, unless you mean you want to do this when away from your computer.

Is there a way to create shared iTunes playlists with iCloud?

For instance, if I were to create a playlist called "Playlist X" on my Macbook Pro, is there a way for iCloud to put that same playlist in my iMac's iTunes library? And if I were to add a song to the playlist on the iMac, could it appear in the playlist on the Macbook? This would be much more convenient than having to update two different playlists manually.

Location services are a part of your iOS device (or Mac). You don't "turn on" location services with iCloud. You can visit http://www.icloud.com and use Find My iPhone to see the location of the device if you want (assuming you have enabled this from the iPhone first).

Multiple macs & different iTunes libraries with iCloud

I have multiple macs with different iTunes libraries, and I don't want to blend them. What do I need to know/do before setting up and using iCloud? I don't mind choosing one library for use with iCloud, but I don't want to disturb the other libraries - although I do want to continue to sync calendars, address book, etc. on each computer. Can I have more than one computer having the same iTunes library?

Until I tunes match comes out it does not matter. I cloud is for e mail, contacts, and calendars. Your I cloud ID MUST be an @me.com ID.

How to restore iTunes backup with iCloud overwriting everything

I'm trying to restore my iPhone 5s from a iTunes backup however my iCloud is overwriting the restore immediately. My contacts are missing from iCloud, can anyone help

Turn off your wifi, when the device comes up you have a very short window to go to settings, Wifi , turn off wifi before it will sync with iCloud; literally...you have to beat the clock.
Either that, or reset the password to your iCloud account so your device CAN'T sync with it

I used imatch to get all my music from itunes on my pc to icloud. On my iphone 5 I turned imatch on and I now have all my songs on my phone, but the play lists in itunes on my pc didn't go with the music. Is there a way to synch the playlists?

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar

Calendar entries slow and no longer synchronising with iCloud and devices

I have a MacBook Pro Retina, Maverick IOS 10.9.2 is the master. Why do new calendar entries no longer sync with other devices and why is there a coloured bubble and I have to wait for an entry to be in the the calendar for about 30 seconds time? Before, new items could be put into the calendar very fast. I have this problem since a few days. Everything else (email, contacts etc.) are synchronising well. I habe checked if there is a tick and everthing looks ok to me. Thank you for your help.

I use gmail for my calender so I sync calender to gmail and icloud. Right now, neither are showing up in calender on iphone.
I did have gmail notes syncing as well as Icloud notes, but turned that off last night in case that was causing the confusion. It hasn't resolved the notes problem.
Any ideas? It does seem a bit odd.

Merging iTunes Libraries with iCloud

I have two iMacs ( Mavericks), sharing the same customer account. Each iMac has it's
own iTunes library. I'd like to merge the two libraries so they appear the same on both iMacs.
Is that doable? Also, if that can be done, can iCloud keep iTunes synced on both Macs going
forward as I add new music?

Use iTunes match with iCloud

(I don't want to but) need to get iTunes Match so I can keep songs that have not been purchased on iTunes. Can i still use iTunes Match if my iCloud storage is only the basic one and my iTunes library is greater then my storage plan? Or do i have to upgrade and pay more money...

Does iTunes connected with iCloud work offline?

I want to know if I can listen to my music that is connected to iCloud while not connected to the internet? Or is there a way to save it onto my computer so i can listen to it offline?

How is your music connected to icloud? If you have music locally on your computer, then you can listen anytime you want.

I run both Mac and a PC and have iTunes on both, which has previously recognised my iPhone. I had updated my Mac with the new iTunes software with iCloud and updated my iPad2 just yesterday. I then wanted to do the same with my iPhone today, but my Mac wouldn't recognise the device so I tried it on my PC, which recognised the phone but told me I needed to update my iTunes and this in turn wanted to update my iPhone software. After completing all this and restarting, my iPhone now shows the iTunes icon with the USB plug pointing towards it, obviously wanting me to plug it in to my computer to re-connect with iTunes, but now neither of my computers recognise my iPhone and my PC states an 'Unknown Device'. My Mac doesn't even see it. Can anyone help as I really need to get my phone working?? Thanks

My iMac doesn't synchronise with I Cloud. I have activated iCloud and followed all previous instructions

I have the following problems with i Cloud:
1.- It seems that my iMac is not synchronising with iCloud. The Dock icon for Mail shows a number of "unread" messages that is wrong.
2.- The server at iCloud appears to be down quite often and therefore mails don't go out or in.
3.- I have problems in sending/receving mails above certain sizes, However Gmail or Yahoo accomodate them well.

On your Mac go to System Preferences>iCloud
Verify the iCloud account address at the top matches that of the iCloud address on your iPhone.
Verify on the Mac that Calendars has a check in the box.
Now (this is probably what's wrong) In iCal on your Mac click the Calendars button (top, left) and verify the Calendar name is checked that you expect to be syncing.

Can I merge my Australian iTunes Account with my UK iTunes Account?

I'm an Australian living in London and have an iTunes account in both countries.
Is it possible to merge these accounts?
What if both accounts could link to my @me.com account - or is .me not going to be around forever?
Please Apple.. solve this problem with one universal email or account. For such a brilliantly simple company, this is a problem that needs a solution!

It was 18 months ago now that I moved over so inevitably I've setup a UK iTunes.
With iCloud I now have 3 accounts - UK, Australia and @me.com!
Surely there is a way to combine all three and have one universal password?

I have added a second Iphone to my i tunes & merged the contacts from it to contacts on my mac but it won't synchronise with icloud. Previously when I added my original iphone to contacts in outlook (windows XP) all my contacts on outlook were deleted and I ended up with a copy of my empty contact folder from the iphone. What am I doing wrong?

On My Mac is a local account, it does not sync to iCloud, use the iCloud account for all contacts/calendars you wish to be available on your devices.
If you are actually using 10.6.7 and not Lion this will not work at all, iCloud services require Lion (10.7.x) or 3rd party software (Soho Organizer) in order to subscribe on Snow Leopard (10.6.x)

HT4796 how can i merge my pc itunes account with my macbook itunes

I wanna use the migration assisstant but i want it to be on my main mac profile, the migration thing says it will create a new user account (totally effin lame). My question is whats the quickest and easiest way to get my itunes over. I have 45 gb of music, 8 gb of photos, 2 gb of videos and about 6 gb of apps. I have a lot of stuff so i know it will take a while. Im considering using my dads passport harddrive and making a copy then copying it over to the macbook. However I have heard formatting is an issue when going form pc to mac. Blahhh I just want all my data on my mac, on my profile. Thanks a lot if you could help me with this

Somehow my entire itunes library got deleted ... I have the old ipod nano, which does not connect with iCloud so it has all been saved there, BUT .. I cannot load all my music that I put on and I no longer have the cd's PLEASE HELP!!!!

All the purchased music has been synced, but nothing else! All my other devices are synced with iCloud and lost the material as well ... I can't tell from your post what you have and what you don't have. Are you saying the files are no longer on your computer, no longer on your iPod, or both?
