Itunes tells me "disk burner or software not found" when trying to burn a CD.

After running a diagnostics test I cant figure out the issue myself, and didnt know where else to turn. Here are the results of the test.

Keep getting Disc Burner or software not found when trying to burn a CD

I am not able to burn a playlist to a CD and get an error at the top of Itunes window "Disc Burner or Software Not Found". I have been able to burn CDs in the past with this same computer but had some issues with songs in itunes. Support had me uninstall Itunes and reinstall. I have also uninstalled the device in the device manager and re-installed it. I really don't know what to try except to ask for help here. I would appreciate any direction I can get. I have a Dell desktop XPS running on Windows 8.

Could you post your diagnostics for us please?
In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:
... and click "Next".
When you get through to the final screen:

The last failed audio CD burn had error code 4251(0x0000109b). It happened on drive E: HL-DT-ST DVD-RW GSA-H60L on CDR media at speed 40X.

I am receiving the message "disc burner or software not found" when trying to burn a playlist to a blank disc.

I ran the diagnostics test and the program was unable to detect a prerecorded cd. This is a fairly new problem and I am not sure what to do.

I get "disc burner or software not found" when I try to burn a playlist.

I am now getting "disc burner or software not found" when I try to burn a playlist from iTunes version 10.6.1.7 on Windows 7 PC. I've not added any new burner software or made any software changes of any kind. I have NERO 8 and I checked the "burn rights" is set for "everyone".

Errors 3000-3999 (3004, 3013, 3014, 3018, 3164, 3194, and so on): Error codes in the 3000 range generally mean that iTunes cannot contact the update server (gs.apple.com) on ports 80 or 443.
Update to the latest version of iTunes.
Verify the computer's date and time are accurate.
Check that your security or firewall software is not interfering with ports 80 or 443, or with the server gs.apple.com.
Follow Troubleshooting security software. Often, uninstalling third-party security software will resolve these errors.
An entry in your hosts file may be redirecting requests to gs.apple.com (see "Unable to contact the iOS software update server gs.apple.com" above).
Internet proxy settings can cause this issue. If you are using a proxy, try without using one.
Test restoring while connected to a known-good network.

With the Error 2, let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you?

Apple Application Support not found when trying to open iTunes

iTunes not opening. Error 2 message keeps popping up saying that Apple Application Support is not found. (Dont' know where it went!!!) It's asking me to uninstall and reinstall iTunes. B4 I do, will I lose my library and have to start over?

I am using RAD (new to web dev) for some reason my app is unable to find .jsp's when they are not in the web content folder. I have a predefined package for my jsp's and when I run my servlet I get
Error 404: SRVE0190E: File not found: /WEB-INF/classes/app/view/search.jsp
now if I amend my URL in the servlet to "/search.jsp" and move the jsp to the web content folder, it works. I just don't understand why it cannot find the file when I put it in the package I created and link to it, but finds it just fine in the webcontent folder. Is there some unwritten rule JSP's MUST be in the webcontent folder? Because when i do that, then I have issues with my image links for the GUI (get red X's for all my images regardless of the fact they are linked properly.) Basically if I put my jsps where I want, look fine in design and preview, but the jsp isnt found when executed, if I move them to the web content folder the images no longer work but the jsps run. I am getting rather frustrated. Any help is appreciated.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

Are you using cleanup software like CCleaner or other software that may corrupt the cache?
You can try to delete the entire cache folder. 
You can find the location of the cache folder on the about:cache page (open via the location bar, like a web page).
You can check the browser.cache.disk.enable pref on the about:config page to verify that the disk cache is enabled (should be true).

hotsyncing to palm desktop without problems.
I want at least iCal synced with the treo680..
..but the 'Enable Palm Syncing' tells me that the HotSync
software is not properly installed and
the iSync conduit doesnt appear in 'Conduit Setings'

This is actually a very common problem, most often caused by a user electing to perform an archive and install of Mac OS X. The issue involves one of Palm permissions, which must be corrected using one of these two approaches:
Take a look at the permissions of the folders listed below. Your permissions for the folders listed below should appear as described below the pathname to that folder:
For the Macintosh HD:Applications:Palm folder:

Again, pay particular attention to the spaces and to the \ characters, as both are critical to the syntax of these commands. Remember to place your actual shortusername in the string where the <shortusername> placeholder is shown, as in the sample above. [Do not include the < and > characters around your actual shortusername.]
Once you have successfully modified your configuration using one of these two methods, you can 'install' the iSync Palm Conduit by selecting the Enable Palm OS Syncing… option under the Devices menu of iSync. Doing so will result in contacts being synchronized with the Address Book, and calendars and to do items being synchronized with iCal. It is possible to synchronize non-conflicting data types on one hand with the Address Book and the Palm Desktop, or on the other with iCal and the Palm Desktop, if you wish. But that option requires special configuration steps, and is not suitable for most individuals. If you decide you want to pursue those options, let me know and I will explain how it can be done. Except under very special circumstances, however, I don't recommend it.
By enabling the use of iSync, you will defeat the standard Palm contact, event and task conduits—which would otherwise conflict with the iSync Palm Conduit—and the memos conduits, which do not conflict. You can re-enable Palm memos synchronization with the Palm Desktop if you wish to do so, simply by dragging the Memo Conduit and Memos Conduit back into the active Conduits folder. You will find them in either the Disabled Conduits folder, or—if there is one—in an iSync Disabled Conduits folder.
A better option long term is to invest in the Missing Sync for Palm OS, which provides a much more robust and reliable synchronization experience. More information about that application can be found here:
