ITunes tells me it has a new update . . . but won't load it.

The Updater says 10.2.2. is available to me, but when I ask it to download the new iteration, the window then says that no updates are available. What am I missing? I have closed the program, restarted, and tried with and without my iPad connected. Nothing.

Yes, I tried all that several times. I finally simply downloaded and reinstalled iTunes 10.2.2 (my application kept telling me that I had had 10.2.1(1), even though my update history said that I already had 10.2.2.

Firefox tries to update but won't load

I have a macbook 5,1 intel core 2 duo. Intel Core 2 duo 2.4 GHz
It's been loading Firefox just fine but for the last week it can't load the Firefox update though it tries daily.

If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the disk image (dmg) file to the desktop

An iPhone backup to a computer via iTunes stores the photos in a backup file that is only meant to be be used if needed to restore back to the phone. There is 3rd party "extractor" software available but otherwise the photos are not directly viewable.
The backup via iTunes was a good idea and your Camera Roll photos should be there and should be able to be restored to your new phone. However if it was me I wouldn't rely on that alone. I would also import the photos to a computer where you can see and verify that you have a copy. That is a good idea at any time (not just when you know you might need it). Any phone can be lost, broken, suffer hardware issues, etc at any time and lose all data on it. iPod touches or any iDevices from Apple sync only to one computer. If you sync to a different computer, all your music will be replace with the music from the new computer's iTunes. If the music were purchased from iTunes, you can re-download them again otherwise the music on iPod touch will be deleted. Do you have iTunes backup?

Is this particular car stereo stated as being compatible with your iPod Mini? If you aren't sure, check the manufacturer's support site or give the car stereo manufacturer a call.

My phone tells me that I have 12 updates but when I press update all or update any individually nothing happens at all. It also does not ask me for my password any more but my iPad and mac book do.
I have signed in and out of the app store and the password is correct. I have tried both kinds of reboot but that did nothing. I have tried to update the apps by connecting phone to Mac book pro...it shows the apps being download on the Mac book and says it will sync them to my phone but it does not. Everything else on my phone works fine.
Any ideas ...Please!

You cannot redownload audiobooks.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.. Copy them from your backup copy of your comptuer.

That's because you're using the same Apple ID on both devices. On your phone: Settings>FaceTime>You Can Be Reached at>Remove your Apple ID.

If you are getting the blank app update screen, many, many people are having this problem over the last couple of days. It is a problem that Apple must fix now.
According to Fly150 in another discussion, this will work.
If you want to update the Apps while waiting for Apple to fix Updates:
1. Go to App Store
2. Select Purchased
3. Select All
4. Scroll down to find the Apps showing update
5. Select update on the Apps
This should update the Apps and get rid of the update count in App Store. Apple needs to fix this. It is a workaround only until then.

If you have music that was purchased on different iTunes accounts than the one you use, then you must provide the password, otherwise the tunes are not considered yours. You can turn off iCloud and just use the usual USB sync method. But I wonder whether you'll have the same problem?

If you are seeing a blank page in the Updates Tab of the App Store it is a problem that many other users are reporting as well. It is a problem that has to be fixed by Apple. You will just have to wait until they fix it.
