ITunes to Media Player

How can I change my files to convert to Media Player? I can NOT get my iTunes to play and all of the music that I PAYED FOR from iTunes, is in my music folder but NOT recognized by Media Player. I am TOTALLY ****** OFF! You don't even have a way to contact someone for help on this issue! I trusted in iTunes to buy my music, and now it is lost to me.

Music purchased at the iTMS is DRM protected using the Fairplay DRM. This is an Apple only DRM and Windows MEdia Player cannot read it.
Only iTunes and the iPod can play iTMS purchased music.

Probably your menu bar is hidden. To reveal it, click the triangle by the half-shaded box at upper left and click on Show Menu Bar (as piictured). This will reveal the menu bar with File, Edit, View, etc.

Movies itunes or media player

I have a free download of a digital movie and they are asking me if I want itunes or media player. Can they both play on the playbook? Is one better than the other? It is a legit copy but I can only download it once. I am hoping that once dowloaded I don't have to change the format in order for it to play on the playbook. Please help me!

How do I move songs from iTunes to Media player. I used to just drag them over but I won't let me anymore.

You should be able to download a codec that will allow Windows Media Player to play non-protected AAC files from the iTunes library. I believe this function is built in to WMP for Windows 7 and 8.

Crackaly Music in iTunes not Media Player

When I play music from any source (CD, mp3, m4p) in iTunes, the music plays clearly for a few seconds and then starts to sound "crackaly". It progressively gets worse until you can't hear the music. The same songs play fine in Windows Media Player, and also play fine from my iPod once they are sync'd. I have reinstalled iTunes, and have the latest version. I have also updated my audio drivers.
Does anyone have any idea what I could do to fix this?
If not where can I get support for this type of issue?
Why does apple make it impossible to find any support phone #'s or email addresses?

How do I import music from itunes, windows media player or my music onto a ipod?

I have just got Now 83 on cd and want to download it onto my iPod touch (4th gen ios 6.1), I have iTunes and have made a playlist with the songs on, I have ripped the files onto windows media player and i've got the songs in my music folder. What do I do now? I've tried copying the playlist and file but it doesn't work so... (10 points if good answer)

No - exactly the opposite.
You cannot sync the music on the iPod, from the iPod to iTunes.
You have a choice:
Follow lllaass's tip, mentioned in his post of 22:35 this evening. Not my preferred method, because I believe it becomes difficult to manage with a large complicated Library and an absolute nightmare if you ever need to Restore your iPod. Not to mention moving everything to a new iPod, eventually. But don't let me stop you.
Take my advice. Put all your music etc. into one Library, using an external drive to move songs from other computers to the one computer and iTunes Library you intend to use. That way, you have one Library to work with (which you should then regularly back up onto the external drive, so that if your computer's drive fails, you can restore your Library from the most recent back up). Play counts, Playlists etc. etc. are all there, in one place. Less likely to lose some content, compared to having stuff all over the place.

Cant add any file to itunes from media player

i have tried dragging songs into library and tried using the add to library option and nothing at all happens, the songs play fine in media player... please help!! very frustrated

I assume that you mean the Windows Media Player.
Well, if those files are in .wma format, AND also Protected. Then iTunes can't handle them. Unprotected .wma files can be imported/added to iTunes - however iTunes needs to convert them to either .mp3, aac, aiff or apple lossless. (Depending on your import settings)

Does anyone know if I can play the music I have on my itunes in Windows Media Player? Or how to change the file format successfully so it will play in WMP. I've just bought a new phone & want to put some of my music onto my phone, but don't know how to.

can anyone help me with a file ive been having problems with a file for windows media player, i want to move it to itunes, but ive tried so many ways, dragging, opening files, almost everything i know of. if it works in media player, it's probably the wrong format for iTunes (.avi won't work!). i dont know if they plan to fix this or not, but you can find software to covert the file types.

Are you trying to copy songs with a .wma extension? If so, these files are not supported by the iPhone (wma is a Windows Audio format) so you would not be able to play them.
If your songs are in a DRM-free format, such as MP3, then the easiest way to copy these would be by importing the library into iTunes and then transfering them to the phone.
If you do not want to use iTunes, there is unfortunately no easy way to copy your media files.

Itunes &windows media player compatability

I use WMP and used to burn cds. I then installed itunes and while I can still burn cds using the same "d" drive using itunes I can no longer get WMP to recognise that drive and cd burner. Is it possible that by installing itunes it has overridden the possibility that WMP can use the same drive to burn cds.

Im trying to import music from widows media player to itunes, but when i delete the music from media player itunes can no longer locate it, i just want the music saved to itunes so its not taking up double the space.

I am having trouble transfering music from windowns media player to itunes. If i delete the music from windows media player itunes cant locate the song.

I've tried changing the file location in preferences>advanced, but every time I open iTunes it doesn't find the library.

Changing the location of the iTunes Media folder tells iTunes where to put new media, not where to "find" the library.
