ITunes too small on startup

Hi.
My problem is that when iTunes starts it always reverts to a small size, not the mini-player before any asks!
I can drag it to the size I want but it reverts to its very small size on restart. It always used to stay at whatever size I dragged it to.
I can't honestly say that anything has been changed recently apart from the normal software updates.
Anyone able to help?

Itunes 12 Font Too Small

Apple what have you done? i have got the font set on the large setting in preferences and it is too small to read in my music or my playlist. Itunes 11 was ok but you have decided to decrease the size of it by 1 or 2 points.
I am considering going back to itunes 11 unless this is fixed and for a person who's eye sight isn't the best then it is very hard to read the playlist files in the player.

Going back to the suggestion by mmu1253397, what is your screen resolution? Your resolution may be too small (640x480 or 800x600 for instance). If you right click on your desktop, choose properties, then go to the settings tab, you can increase your screen resolution (drag the slider to the right). By doing so, you shrink the size of everything on your desktop, thereby allowing you to display more (including more of a maximized window). I'm running iTunes on three different PCs with resolutions of 1024x768 and 1600x1200 and have had no issues displaying the complete iTunes window.

ITunes Windows too small

Just a comment. This does not affect the operation of iTunes but I just wanted to point this out. Your panes such as the New Releases, Just For You, Exclusives and Staff Favorites are slightly too small. Since I can't adjust the font size, the names of the artists are always cut off on the bottom. Can you , in future revisions, make the panes adjustable or just make them bigger so the information is not cut off? Thanks, and if by chance there is something in my setup that is wrong please let me know?

ITunes Window Apparently Too Small

I just received a 160 GB iPod classic as a gift and tried syncing it with my iTunes. It prompted me to download a more current version of iTunes so I downloaded iTunes 7.5. I cant do anything with my new iPod because I'm stuck at the software license agreement screen, I clicked on "I have read and agree to the Software License Agreement" but the only two options on-screen that I can see are to cancel and save, neither of which do anything. I've tried unsuccessfully to expand the iTunes screen and even uninstalled and re-installed iTunes. Nothing works. It seems like such a simple problem but it has been aggravating for the past few hours or so. Anyone have any solutions?

Solution found.
I am a Vodafone customer and installed the Vodafone app which asks you to turn off wifi connection on installation as it needs to communicate with their servers over 3G.
After restoring the iPad via iTunes this is the only app that I did nor re-install and seems to be too much of coincidence that while in full screen view watching films my wifi is switched off and 3G data connection is established 10 - 15 minutes into a fiilm and my data allowance gets eaten up!
I would also get push notifications from Vodafone saying "my daily data usage was almost used" with this app installed.
Have tested and on 3rd time watching sky go still wifi is on after 30 mins.
DO NOT INSTALL VODAFONE APP FROM THE APP STORE.

Itunes screen too small

ok i just got a new ipod nano and i downloaded the new software. when i connect it and it shows up to say register your ipod its too small to see and i can't see it say register now just register later on the left side. what should i do?

Two options:
1. Increase your computer's display resolution above 1024x768 (XGA) or
2. Click the left hand pane scroll bar and drag to the left, shrinking it to the point where the Register button appears on the right.

When using itunes my screen becomes 'too small"

when I start i tunes on my pc (windows XP)
everything on the screen gets bigger
i-tunes works perfectly and within the screen
but with a screen that's too small, it's very difficult to run
other programs
basically I'm forced to stop all other programs whem running i-tunes

If you can hook up an external monitor you can try that, but otherwise, that machine is not suitable for running InDesign. Many of the dialog boxes are taller than 576 px.

PC HD too small to consilidate song Files.

I have songs scattered over several hard drives(3) in my desktop Win XP PC. The drive the main iTunes library is on is too small to consolidate all the songs. The library of itunes songs is much larger than my ipod. I want to to move the files and library to a larger drive. Suggestions?

Are any of the drives large enough to hold everything?
Just go to itunes preferences > advanced tab
Set the " itunes media folder location" to the drive that is large enough.
Make sure "copy files when adding..." is checked.
Then run the file > library > consolidate command.
iTunes will move everything to the new large drive.

Printing inserts - they always end up slightly too small

any suggestions? i'm just using the print command in itunes. but when i cut them out using the guides, they always end up just slightly too small for the jewel cases. is there some page setup thing i need to be aware of?

Cover Art Too Small

Hi,
strange thing. I have used the cover print functionality of itunes multiple times without any problems.
But suddenly the covers are printed much too small. About half the size. The scaling in the page setup dialog is set to 100% and the page size is set to A4 and portrait. Of course I could increase the scaling in the page setup dialog, but hey ...
I don't know if I have changed some strange settings but which would that be?
Using an other printer driver and reinstalling of itunes did not solve that issue. Even in the preview the cover is wrongly scaled. All other applications eg. word, preview, texshop are printing without any problems. Other machines, like my iBook, are printing the cover correctly.
Would be happy for any hints solving this issue.

I too am very interested in an hints. For example, I just printed one out on US Letter 100% and the actual measuement of the jewel case insert wit cover art is 15cm X 7.5 as opposed to a standard one which is about 30cm X 12cm.

Ipod fonts got too large at startup?

My ipod fonts just got too big at startup and makes it extremely difficult to unlock or operate applications.

when you near to your itunes, just connect it, choose your device in itunes (so you see your ipod with version, capacity etc.)
at this page you have settings and a button for accessibility, there you can change it too

Error message: ORA-00821: Specified value of sga_target 4M is too small

Dear all
My database instance is down,when I am trying to start, it throw any error:
ORA-00821: Specified value of sga_target 4M is too small, needs to be at least 28M
The problems started when erroneous altered sga_target to some values without specifying the unit.
My question is, how can I resolve this issue while the database instance is down? I am using spfile
I tried to start the instance with pfile (startup pfile='D:\oracle\product\10.2.0\admin\orcl\pfile\init.ora') it throw errors:
LRM-00109: could not open parameter file 'D:\oracle\product\10.2.0\admin\orcl\pfile\init.ora'
ORA-01078: failure in processing system parameters

Hi,
What you can do in this case and you don't have a good pfile, you can do the following:
1. locate the spfile, normally in the $ORACLE_HOME/dbs directory
2. Make a copy from the spfile to be sure will not be damaged.
3. Do on unix prompt: strings -a <spfile> > newpfile.ora
4. Check with an editor the newpfile.ora and edit. The pfile will contain all the settings and you should change the SGA_TARGET value to a size of 400M or higher. Smaller values can be done but are not advisable at 10GR2 or higher.
5. Try to startup the database using the updated newpfile.ora.

I have restarted a server, and after the restart when i bring back all the instances on it. One of the instance, upon start-up an error was thrown back to me.
SQL> startup

Soft subtitles in video files are displayed too small on iPad

I have many mp4 files imported to iTunes Library. They contains some soft subtitles. But when I use iPad to watch, the subtitle is too small. I can't even read it. And iPad has no option to change the font size.
What can I do to solve this problem?

I have the same problem and cannot tackle it down yet. Using handbrake and itunes to sync movies and the subtitles are very small.
Hope someone could help.
