Itunes took some of my music and wants me to pay for it again
I bought an album off of itunes off my Ipod Touch 4th gen a while ago, and recently i bought another Ipod touch 4th gen because i needed more space. I went to download my music to my new Ipod, and when i looked in that album only two of the songs were there. So i went on to itunes and it said i had only purchased those two songs and that i have to buy all the others again. How do I get them back without paying again???

Hi Hooper123456,
If you are having issues redownloading a previously purchased app, you may find the following article helpful:

Hi, I've purchased a few films from itunes (and they are listed as Purchased in my account), but I can't find them on my computer or my itunes account, and itunes wants me to pay for them again. How do I get around this? I've tried all the suggestions, and it's hugely frustrating.
If you are in the UK, and the film studio allows re-downloading, and you are signed in with the same account that you bought them with, then they might show under the Purchased link under Quinklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page for re-downloading - if they don't show then check to see if they are hidden (hiding and unhiding).
But you should be keeping and maintaining your own backup of your downloads and noy rely on being able to re-download any item as they are occasionally removed from the store by the content provider (film studio, tv company, record company etc). -

To redownload content, iTunes must be signed in with the Apple ID used to purchase the content and must be authorized for that account. -
Can I uninstall and reinstall iMovie without paying for it again?
My iMovie crashed recently, and I want to reinstall it again so that it will work. Basically, my iMovie '11 came with my OS X Mavericks update (so you could say it's preinstalled) and what I want to ask is this: can I open Launchpad and delete it from there (effectively removing it) and reinstall the app again from the App Store without having to pay for it again? In my "Purchases" section it says iMovie '11 has been installed.
Thanks!my QT wont launch either the error i get there is: quick time failed to instilize error number -2095 please make sure quick time is properly installed on this computer
my apologies, clschofield58 , i accidentally linked you to the wrong post. here's the careful standalone install technique.
download and save a copy of the QT 7.0.3 standalone installer to your hard drive. (we'll run the install from there rather than online.)
http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/standalone.html
switch off all background applications prior to the install (especially antispyware and antivirus):

will itunes launch after that?

I lost my iPhone and had to purchase another. I was able to download all my past music purchases but have not been able to download the tones I've bought because iTunes keeps trying to charge me for them again. How can I do that without repaying for them?
Ringtones are currently a one-time only download from the store. Have you not got copies of them on your computer's iTunes and/or on a backup that you could sync to the phone ? If not then you can try contacting iTunes support and see if they will grant you a re-download : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

It was an in app purchase (Instafollow was free, but I paid for the full version via in-app)
Sounds like you are trying to download the paid version from the Store, instead of the FREE version.

All of my music is missing from iTunes since my last computer died and had to get a new one. How do I get that music back without having to pay for it again? I've read somewhere there is a "form to request to download iTunes purchases again", is this true?
Media should be included with the backup of the computer that all users should be creating on a regular basis as part of basic computer/data maintenance.
In the event that you do not have a backup (stop being lazy.... keep backups of YOUR data and other important files)
If you are in the US and running iTunes 10.3 or later, it is possible to redownload music via iCloud from purchased history.
If you are not in the US or for some reason cannot run iTunes 10.3 or later, contact iTunes customer support and ask very nicely for the opportunity to redownload the content. They are not required to provide this opportunity.
It is also possible to transfer content from an iDevice that was purchased via iTunes. On the new computer, sign into the iTunes account, authorize the computer, connect the device then select File > Transfer Purchases.
The simplest method of all is to transfer or copy the media (and other important files) from the old computer or the backup of the old computer. Typing "move itunes library" into the search bar here or into google will reveal step by step instructions on how to do this. -

When I statred iTunes match I lost some of my music and all my playlists, has anyone had this problem? And can I restore it?
Restore your media from the backup of the computer created prior to restoring the computer.
You did create a backup, correct? Not doing so would be extremely unintelligent.
iOS devices are NOT backup devices.
