ITunes "TV Shows" tab has disappeared.

When i downloaded iTunes 9, i noticed that the TV Shows tab had disappeared from the iTunes store. I thought maybe Apple had decided to stop selling TV Shows, but then a few days back my friend told me about how she downloaded all the episodes of her favourite show so she could watch them whenever she liked! I was interested, as i also love that show, and asked her where she had downloaded them. She replied that she had bought them off iTunes store. And so after a little investigation, i found i was the only one with this problem.
I contacted iTunes about this yesterday via email, but was replied to with links to iTunes store help. As if i hadn't checked all the help and assistance topics already!!!
Today i was quintuple-checking the help topics, and found the forums. So i'm posting here in the hopes that someone realises that i'm neither lazy or stupid enough not to check the help topics, and i've also searched the forums. I didn't find any other topics stating the same problem, so here we are.
Does anyone know how i can fix this?

What country are you in?
Not all countries have TV show content in the iTS. For example, Greece, Belgium, China, Romania....erm, it might be easier to list the countries that DO have TV content.
Scroll down to the bottom of the iTS home page. The bottom right corner has a flag icon to change the country's store, in case you've wandered away from your usual page.

- Delete all AB and resync
To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Manage Storage>Audio Book (if present) and delete
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

The "+" to open a new tab has disappeared. How do I get it back?

The "+" that usually appears to the right of the tabs and opens a new tab has disappeared. Looked through the Q&As and couldn't find the answer.

Make sure that toolbars like the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible.

Open the Customize window and set which toolbar items to display.

*if you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the Customize palette then click the "Restore Defaults" button to restore the default toolbar setup

You can check for problems caused by a corrupted localstore.rdf file if this didn't help.

Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with your purchased album.
First, I recommend trying to download the album from you list of past purchases. Use the steps in the section titled "Download previous purchases on Mac or PC > iTunes Store" in the following article:

If you have tried those steps and still do not see the album, it may be that the album is hidden. Follow the steps below in iTunes on your computer to check if it is hidden and unhide it:
To unhide your purchases
Open iTunes on your Mac or PC.
If you're not already signed in, choose Store > Sign in.
Choose Store > View My Account. (You may be asked to enter your password again).
On your Account Information summary, scroll down to the "iTunes in the Cloud" section and click Manage.
Choose a content type by clicking Music, TV shows, Apps, or Books from the top.
Click the Unhide button next to the item you would like to restore.
Note: If the item you are unhiding is not already downloaded on your computer locally, it will begin downloading automatically.

What you're trying to do now is:
EFI->kernel (EFI stub)
This is appealingly direct, but it's tricky to get working. What the wiki now recommends is:
EFI->gummiboot->kernel (EFI stub)
...or...
EFI->GRUB->kernel
These approaches are less direct, but they're easier to configure. The trouble is that both the EFI's built-in boot manager and the EFI stub loader are tricky to configure. For a newbie to get them both configured correctly on a first attempt at installing Arch is very difficult. Getting the EFI to launch gummiboot or GRUB is easier because these programs don't require the complex parameters that the EFI stub loader requires. Those parameters can instead be specified in the gummiboot or GRUB configuration file, which is easier to manage for quite a few reasons.
If you want to pursue using the EFI stub loader directly, you certainly can. I've learned from experience, though, that it's not worth my time to try to help with users who want to do this. Using an intermediary program is easier to get working. IMHO, the direct approach has no real benefits except that it gives you bragging rights that you've done it. Your system won't boot any faster or more reliably in the more direct approach. (Well, technically it will be faster, by only by a matter of milliseconds, assuming you use a 0 timeout value in gummiboot.) In fact, it will be less reliable, because gummiboot, GRUB, and rEFInd all offer ways to adjust boot options on a boot-by-boot basis, which is very helpful when fixing problems. You can't do this with the direct approach.

You can't remove the App store app, you must hav moved it to a folder somewhere. Swipe the screen to the right until you get to the search screen then do a search for the app.

Can I upload music from iPod to iTunes? My music has disappeared from my iTunes account, but still have it on iPod.

The 'x' to close each tab has disappeared. How can I get it back?

The 'x' in the left hand corner of each tab has suddenly disappeared. When I hover over it, it does not appear either. How can I get the 'x' back?

Empty the Safari cache. Press Command + Option + E
Then quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that didn't help, try this.
Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following:
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test again.

The "+" tab has disappeared.

I recently installed Firefox 4. It seem great. Initially it was fine, but the "+" tab to add a new tab disappeared at the end of the open tabs row has disappeared. I still have the shortcut at the top of the page, and, if i double click in the blank space next to the last tab in the row, a new tab then will open. Strange!

There used to be a setting where you could set limits on the Safari history but those settings are gone now. IIRC, the settings were for 100 items, 150, 200 or something like that. It was a number of items in the history list and not a number of days. Since iOS a devices can sync bookmarks with Safari on your computer now, perhaps, that is where the history limit can be adjusted.
I am not a good judge of how long the history is retained because I erase my history and website data on a fairly regular basis. With the reading list feature and the ability to create a shortcut on the home screen for websites, I don't often find the need to go back to my history for weeks in the past.

ITunes TV Show Store has vanished from AppleTV???

Hi,
The iTunes TV Show Store is missing from my AppleTV - bought just before the release of the current model.
By this I mean the list that appears under TV Shows on the main menu - Favorites, Top Shows, Networks and Search.
Only "My TV Shows" appears with the episodes that I have sync from my Mac.
There is the usual Cover Flow on the top of the screen for the most popular TV series, and from there I can access a very limited "Other Customers Also Bought".
I can use the Add To Favorites but the Favorites section still does not appear in the list on the main menu.
The iTunes Music and the Movie Store still appear and work correctly with all their functions.
I did have to restore the AppleTV to factory settings last week, but it was working fine after that.
The TV Show list just disappeared at some point on Saturday evening (I think).
I've tried other iTunes Stores that sell TV Shows like France and the UK, but I'm getting the exact same problem.
I was going to try another factory restore, but I thought I should see if this is a problem others are having (google shows nothing) - especially since the list just vanished while the device was in standby.

Basic develop tab has disappeared in Develop module

I'm stuck, I can't process any images as the basic tab has suddenly vanished. Anyone had this and how can I get it back?

If you right-click on any of the other section headers in the develop module (tone curve, etc.) it will present you with a list of all the different sections. Make sure there is a checkmark in the Basic checkbox. It seems that several others have encountered this problem when moving to Lightroom 5. It isn't something I have had trouble with.
