Does the iTunes U app support video out with the HDMI and VGA adapters?

I also experience "time out" issues with PSM and actually have experienced them since moving to PSM last Summer. My experience has been that the content uploads successfully even though the session times out...but I can't edit any metadata until I log out and back in.

Itunes audio and video out of synch on PC

I downloaded TV shows, but the sound is not in synch with the video when watching the show on the PC.

I have the same problem. Has anyone gotten an answer yet?

Looking for an app that combines an equalizer with video out.

I'm looking for an app that has video out (like "Upsize" or the iPod built-in photo slideshow) with an equalizer (preferably like "Denon Audio" or "EQ Pro" so that I can listen to equalized music through my TV. Upsize is close, as it allows for album art to be displayed on my TV while the music plays however, it does not control volume and you must use the iTunes equalizer before you start the app. My TV is the type that will not play audio without an accompanying video signal when using a component cable to connect my iPod to the TV inputs.

Try my application Dates to iCal. it runs on the Mac, but you can sync the calendar to your iOS device.

Connect the iPod to your computer and look at the storage used by the various categories as shown in the colored bargarph in iTunes.
Come back with the results.
What is the Other on my iPhone and How to Remove It
An "other" larger than abount 1 1/2 GB usually indicates that the "other" includes corrupted files.
First try:
"First you go settings/general/usage/music/then left swipe over music and press delete and you would think it deletes your music but it doesn't instead it deletes your other but make sure your ipod is connected to a computer while doing this"

Next, usually restoring from backup eliminated the corrupted files. However, sometimes restoring to factory settings/new iPod is required.

Video out from ABC app to my TV

I have ABC's app that allows me to watch their shows. It works fine on the iPad, but when I connect an Apple Composite AV cable to my TV all I get is sound. No video. I have my iPad set to video NTSC but I don't get it on my TV. Any ideas out there? Thanks.

Only a few apps right now support the Video Out function... the developer is tasked with making their apps compatible with this...over time more and more will I assume... For now only a few native apps are like the Movies in iPod section or the Keynote App (strangely Pages and Numbers are NOT supporting video out currently)

I changed to a new iphone 5, but it keeps coming up with my old Apple ID FOR iCloud sign in. My Apple ID is correct for iTunes and App Store and on my ipad. The user names stays greed out on the iCloud sign in and I can't change it.

I recently changed from my old Iphone 5 to a new one. The Apple ID that comes up when signing into iCloud is my old Apple ID, yet the correct one is shown on iTunes and apps. I can't change the Apple ID to the correct one, and am unable to restore my latest back up from icloud. I have tried everything, but I can' t change the Apple ID on the phone. It stays greed out. My Apple ID is correct on my ipad and when I log into my iCloud account via the internet. How do can I fix this?

Skip the iCloud sign in for now.
Once you reach the home page, go to settings and sign out of FaceTime and Messages. This should also sign you out of iCloud.
Go to iCloud in settings and sign in with the correct Apple ID.
If that does not work
Skip the iCloud sign in
Go to Apple ID.apple.com and sign in
Change your Apple ID to the old one
Delete iCloud account on your device with the old Apple ID and the same password.
Go back to the website, change your Apple ID back to the current one. You will receive an email to verify the account. Verify first.

My old Apple ID won't allow me to use the old password to log out of the cloud. I can't use the new one, either. The new Apple ID is in the iTunes and App store. But I can't change it on the cloud without logging out. Which I can't do.

The iTunes and App Stire has the new Apple ID, but I can't get into the settings to change it on the iCloud. It asks for the Old Apple ID and password, which doesn't work. Does anyone know how to change the old Apple ID on the iPhone in the settings for the iCloud?

First, try the new password. If you didn't sign out of iCloud prior to changing the primary email address of your Apple ID, this is what can cause this problem.

Video out fire wire port from iTunes?

Final cut and Pro Tools LE both have the ability to send video from a G5 to a TV out of the fire wire port via a Canopus ADVC-110. Why doesn't iTunes? I understand that the new Mac TV gizmo plus an airport card will do this, but I already have all the hardware I need for this to work. I just need iTunes to take advantage of the same external video option that Final Cut and Pro Tools LE have. Anyone know of a patch or something that would make this happen. Or at least a stand alone player that will play the m4v iTunes video files and play video out fire wire port to my canopus which will then send it to the TV?

In an attempt to get my iTunes downloaded TV episodes to play on my TV without having to buy the Apple TV hardware and an airport card I have been trying to find a way to convert the m4v video files into a format that can be read by a stand alone player that allows me to output video playback through my fire wire port so my canopus box can then send it to my tv and stereo. I tried iSquint and it does not work. I get an AppleScript error "Can't make "" into type real. (-1700)" If you hit OK the program then spins it's wheels with the progress report "Preparing Audio for File 1..." It is still my belief that Apple should enable iTunes to output video through the fire wire port. Since Final Cut Pro and Pro Tools LE have that ability and it works I assume that it should work wth iTunes. Please send iTunes feedback from within iTunes and ask apple to add this option to iTunes.

Noise only on optical audio out when playing the itunes festival app.

On my Apple TV running the lastest OS I'm haveing a probleme with the itunes festival app only.
I only receive noise on the optical out, HDMI is ok.Probleme does not exist on the other apps

Can i only watch lectures I've downloaded within the iTunes u app, or do they go elsewhere on my phone? Having trouble locating videos, the books however work fine.

Courses have to be deleted / unsubscribed from individual devices. (I believe this is to avoid personal data loss, such as course notes and such.)
If you really want to remove the course, follow these steps on your iPad:
Go to the course list
Tap "All Courses" at the top (if you have a teacher-enabled account)
Drag the list down until the Edit button appears
Tap Edit
Select the courses you want to remove
Tap Delete

ITunes 11 for Mac "Update All Apps" grayed out, requiring relaunch to update again

On iTunes 11.2.1 (1) "Update All Apps" grays out after I update once. I need to relaunch iTunes to get it to be clickable again. I am definitely logged in, etc., so it seems like a bug with iTunes, yes?

The last several versions of iTunes have had this bug. The "Update All Apps" works once, and then it's greyed out after that until you quit and relaunch.
As a workaround, you can click the first app, hold down the shift key, and click the last app to select them all. Then right click on one of the apps and select "Update X Apps."

How to get video out to display menus and apps...

I have a 'myvu for iPod', which is a little video screen in your glasses, and it displays "Videos" and "YouTube" clips fine but I can't seem to get it to display videos played in other applications like the 'TED' app, photos, cover art during music playback or the menus for navigation. How can I configure the IPod to play everything on the audio/video out instead of just YouTube and Videos?

The ipod touch can only output youtube and movies at the moment on an external display.
