ITunes U Daily Report: Enclosure

I cannot understand how is calculated the "enclosure" value in iTU reports.
The apple official guide wrote:
"View the aggregate value for the SubscriptionEnclosure/SubscriptionRedirectedEnclosure user actions.
The SubscriptionEnclosure/SubscriptionRedirectedEnclosure user actions occur when the iTunes U iOS or desktop app downloads a new item in the collection. If the iOS or desktop app detects new content in the collection, it downloads the content."
But I cannot understand what it the difference between "subscription enclosure" and "subscription redirected enclosure". When an event is registred as "SE" or "SRE"? What it does mean "enclosure" and how much important is this value?
Someone can explain me it in "simple english"?

From iTunes U Public Site Manager:
...iTunes U Public Site Manager uses a content caching system for some content available in the iTunes Store. iTunes U Public Site Manager reports some user actions routed through the content caching system as "Redirected” actions...
Simply SubscriptionEnclosure means that the downloaded episode is coming directly from your server, while in SubscriptionRedirectedEnclosure the downloaded episode is coming from Apple servers caching system; caching allows to save your server bandwidth.
You can consider this action the same type as a download action: in the old excel weekly summary reports the SubscriptionEnclosure was part of the "Total Tracks Downloads" sum.

does anybody have any suggestion about how to get daily report for iTunes U public site ?
The only information I've found is in iTunes U Administration Guide for Private Site with the following example

Find the solution by myself.
There are two iTunes U sites with different credentials: one is the original iTunes U Public before first activation and another created automatically by the activation process. The last is the actual iTunes U Public site
managed by iTunes U Public Site Manger. The difference is the domain name of the site: if I sign in using my domain name with "-dz" added at the the end, I can access the actual credentials (Site URL, Debug Suffix, Shared Secret, Administrator Credentials) that differs completely by the ones of the original iTunes site.
No where I found information about that, neither I've received any notification mail about the domain name change after the site activation process.

In the August 29th iTunes U Administrator email, there was a mistake in the example for the Daily Report Log Web Service.
The example showed:

Currently displaying audit log reports in REST or API is not supported by Microsoft. SharePoint online in Office 365 just supports saving an audit log report as a Microsoft Excel 2012 Preview workbook.

ITunes U Daily Logs -- no data returned since 2010-03-23

I'm getting the same problem as reported at http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2381374&tstart=0. I download daily logs using a Perl script that has worked fine for about six weeks. As of 2010-03-24 I am no longer able to receive data: "No daily report log data found for the requested time interval and iTunes U site." When I specify an end date, then I get notice that the dates are out of range due to there being no data after 3-23. Anyone else experiencing this?

and treat this date as Order creation data audat field in VBAK.
based on this fetch the data from VBAK and VBAP with the following fields like
VBELN, KUNNR,NETWR,POSNR, MATNR,ARKTX,KWMENG,WAERS etc and display in the report

No data for daily report sent from my PC

Since a clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate on my PC, no data is being sent to the Cisco server from my PC. Previously I was running the RC version of Windows 7 Ultimate on this PC, with the same router and configuration, and no problems in being able to access a full daily report. I was using Outpost Security Suite Pro, which allowed the data to be sent, but am now using the native Windows firewall, configured to allow NM outward communications.
I asked Support to assist with configuring the Windows firewall, but they were unable to assist, as they did not know how to do this- I would have thought that as NM is Windows 7-compatible, this information would have been available to them.
My netbook is running Windows 7 Ultimate RC, with OUtpost Security Suite Pro, and does send the data for the daily report, when using my home wireless network and the same router, so I suspect that the Windows 7 firewall is causing the problem with the PC.
Can anyone advise me on the specifics of configuring the Windows 7 firewall to allow NM to send the necessary data so that I can get the daily report?

First only one Software can be turned on within the operating system, otherwise you have problems. Also Network Magic needs Full Access, not just Outward Access.

we need to generate a daily report stating that this many Alert sent to this subscriber group and this many are closed .
Ex: We have [email protected] is the subscriber and for this subscriber we have created 3 subscription for send notifications.
In a native mode we can able to export alerts details by group or objects. but we need a report based on subscription.

put tht sql query into a simple text file, name whatever.sql
find out how to start sqlplus and pass it the name of the text file to be executed. (hint - find the SQLPlus manuals at tahiti.oracle.com)
put that sqlplus startup command in a file that your unnamed os will recognize as an executable batch file.
use your unnamed OS's scheduling mechanism to execute the batch file.

Maybe you should back up and explain the business problem, before you start down the road to Database Hell chasing an ill-conceived solution.

Compiling iTunes U Usage Reports?

Has someone come up with a good way to compile the iTunes U Reports into something useful? I appreciate Apple's "iTunes U: Usage report" for knowing what tracks are getting hits, but putting the data together week by week is a pain. I was wondering if someone had figured out a better way? Thanks for any help or suggestions.

I used good ol' fashion Perl to create a web app for distributing stats to our various internal players.
I cron job GetDailyReportLogs once a night to get the stats, then use Perl to parse the stats into meaningful data for year, month, series, episode, etc. Then, my favorite part, I use Perl's Data::Serializer to save all these data to files.
When a user loads the app, I just pull up the already processed data file and pass it to HTML::Template files. Because the data are already in the correct format for my various line charts, bar graphs and tables, the page loads very quickly and I'm not reprocessing the same data over and over, and I'm using AJAX to pull in the template for each chart individually.
So, using the iTunes U web services and Perl, I was able to pretty easily create a web app that lets users dig through their own usage stats. They can view top series, total downloads, most viewed episodes for the year, month, series, etc.
Perl might be old fashion, but I still love it.

As per my understanding parent que was not for any schedule program.
Just check in SAP Monitor and WT document posted on a day and from that sort with document type GR. If needed you can create variant and pool data as required.
More can be done if we create new node for extracting such document. Check enhancement in EWM monitor development document in market place.

Why CallsAnsweredToHalf is greater than CallsHandledHalf in daily report?

I am using Cisco 8.5.2.
I understand the definition of CallsHandled and CallsAnswered. They may not always equal because it may counted in the next reporting interval.
However, why it doesn't equal in a daily report?
Checked Termination_Call_Detail has 14 calls which equals to CallsHandled. But, CallsAnswered is 16. It is quite strange....what is the extra 2?

Can someone explain above situation, please?
