ITunes U not available via Apple TV?

Why is none of the iTunes U content available via the Apple TV? It is basically podcast material, whether audio or video, but I cannot find a way to listen/view it with my Apple TV. Any suggestions?

FYI:
As I posted above, I've experience the same issue: iTunes Match cuts out at 25 seconds. All other functions on Apple TV are fine. All firmware is up-to-date. Have reset the Apple TV device. Spoke with Apple Support for abourt 20 minutes. No issues with my network. Went to Apple store and received a new Apple TV2 device. Result after all of this: iTunes Match cuts out at 25 seconds.
Update: An Apple product specialist suggested it might be an issue with one of the ports that Apple TV requires from ISPs. I called Comcast/Xfinity, they checked the aforementioned ports and told me everything is OK on their end.
The problem remains.

Content available in iTunes Store NOT available via AppleTV?

I'm sure this has been answered a thousand times over, but it's perplexing me and I found I can get answers quickly from the folks here.
Why is it that movies and TV shows that show up as available for rental or purchase in the iTunes Store, don't show up the same natively in the AppleTV interface?
For example, I missed last night's episode of the show "Breaking Bad." I can find it and download it just fine from the iTunes Store in iTunes, but when I search for that same show via the on-screen search on the AppleTV I yield no results. It doesn't find the show at all or even any reference to the network AMC. I see another AMC show "Mad Men" in iTunes but again not in the search function on the AppleTV. I even checked on my iPhone and indeed BOTH shows are available to download to my iPhone!
Do these not connect to the same database of shows? Why can I download something from my computer and stream it via Airplay but not just rent the content straight from the AppleTV? Is this a limitation of iOS or does it solely have to do with streaming vs. downloading?

Well, that's a real bummer. Certainly limits some of the usefulness of the ATV and it's connection to the iTunes Store if has to be tethered to a PC to access all the available content.

Apple itunes store not available

When I try to order a movie, it keeps saying apple itunes store not available. I can watch netflix, itunes radio works, geinus does not work, just can not order movies. I can preview them just can't order movies. It get stuck when I try to sign in to itunes. The screen get stuck and I have to unplug and plug back in to clear screen. HELP

Found that my ATT Uverse router's Firewall was set up to block Applications, Pinholes and DMZ Had been activated. Once I added the Apple TV to the list, for all programs, it started working. In all probability AT&T and/or Apple software updates probably created the issue.

Please understand I am a frustrated customer like you, , but the availability of movies that have been shown before is dependant on licencing from the rights owners. Sky quite rightly have to pay the film studios for the ability to show to Sky's customers. As I understand it they purchase the right for a period of time, hence when the right expires then it has to be removed. The costing of the movies does reflect on the anticipated popularity of the programme, hence an older less popular movie might seem expensive but if not many people watch and pay that would be right. The apparent silliness of having movies in the store and on demand, allows those people who do not have a movie subscription to rent the movie on a one off basis. I agree that Sky seem to be licencing some programmes for shorter periods and it really upsets me when movies appear in buy and keep but not available to rent only. I recently queried Sky about Fortitude being available in OnDemand until 2022!, then of course found out that Sky owns the rights of the series. I can only say be careful if you are a movies subscriber and wish to watch a movie, not to select the Sky Store version if it is available in the Movies on Demand section. I recently wanted to watch a film that I found in Sky store at a cost, and just to be sure I searched for it and found it was to be shown on Channel 4 in a few days. I don't think we'll ever understand how such decision are made as to how long they licence movies for and how the charging model works with the film studios. Logically you would think that a smallish fee to have available indefinately and to pay the studio fee based on the number of rentals would be better, but that might be difficult to administer and Sky would have to have extra server storage fees, which they outsource. Thank you for your responses.. To Sjazbec, At least you guys in Germany and the Netherlands have some kind of posters from Apple to let you know that the feature is not available.
There is no such warning on the Irish Apple site.!
My point was that, I would not have even considered trying to reorganize my itunes library had I known that the feature is not available in Ireland.
And that falls into the domain of Apple Ireland advertising.. which I"m sorry to say is false and misleading.
There are no "posters" telling the Irish customer that icloud / itunes music is not available!
I"m not blaming Apple for not "having the feature" in Ireland.. I am upset at them for falsing advertising a feature that they cannot for whatever reason deliver to Irish customers..

With my ATV2 ......... Recently when I click on a film in my "Wish List" I am getting "itunes store not available ,try again later"............however, if I select the film from film list or search I can watch it - so the itunes store IS available!! This never used to be a problem and I could always watch trailers by clicking on the film in my Wish List.
It is nice to determine which movies to watch by checking out the trailer directly from my Wish List as I have a LOT of films in there ready to go.
Anyone got any suggestion - I would be most greatful .

Itunes store not available message when trying to play purchased programs

When I try to play one of the tv series purchased on itunes I get a message 'itunes store not available, try again later'. All other purchased tv shows and movies play just fine. Can anyone help?

I'm having the same problem. One TV series refuses to stream on the Apple TV, stating the iTunes store is unavailable. All other purchased content streams fine on the Apple TV.
I can download the TV series in iTunes on the computer, then stream from the computer to the TV. That works, but not when streaming directly over the Internet without a computer.
I have engaged Apple Support, but so far they have been pretty useless in assisting me. I have sent them screenshots, hand-held videos of the problem, descriptions. This is insanely frustrating and very disappointing.

i rented a movie (so the store IS available if you want to spend MONEY!), but everytime i try to download the movie, i get a message that says "itunes store not available, try later"... if i had known that, i would have just driven to the **** store and rented the movie there!! i tried restarting, tried newest version of itunes... nothing. i also see some security issues that apply to windows, i checked my internet connections, security, it's all fine... i have no problems with anything else... and i was able to download stuff yesterday!

I have been having the exact same problem!! I purchased 3 songs a couple of weeks ago, and 2 downloaded, and the third will not. Everytime I try checking for available purchases it gives me "the iTunes store is not available. Please try again later." A couple of days ago I tried downloading a free song, which worked, so I thought maybe it would work and I rented a movie. Well, the movie won't download and I got the same message. And, of course, I have been charged for both the song and movie that I purchased but cannot access for anything. I even talked on the phone with an Apple representative for an hour and achieved nothing. I emailed Apple, was given instructions, which I completed, wrote them back (because this is what the email said to do if the instructions didn't work) and got the same set of instructions as a reply!! So frustrating. Fix this or give us our money back!!!

I have installed NW 7.0 portal Ehp2 system on Solaris cluster with logical name . Now when I try to start SAP with the startsap script . it is not starting the database (Oracle) . It just checks whether DB is running and giving message J2EE database not available via test , and asking to check JdbCon.log .

1. Now first step take backup of tnsname.ora & listner.ora

, if still error exits then pls paste the contain present in sqlnet.ora.

This is a common problem .Actually ur database pwd is not same mentioned in the configtool----
secure store.
Change the database password and update the same in the secure store of configtool.

We are moving the CI to the different server keeping the database on the same server, it is dual stack BI system, SCS instalaltion went fine, for the CI installation, we got to the error while bringing up the CI , it is not able to connect to the database

The trans.log doesn't give any error

The Dev logs are not generated as of now, so can't paste them,
Copied the lastest version of kernel, but it didn't work.
Put the tnsname and schema profile, dbms\type was already there, But it didn't work too.
