ITunes U site down.

This year we have not been able to access our itunesU site, the connecting page comes up and iTunes loadsbut then I receive an error message” No unhandled exception to display.”
I have tried this on a machine outside of our network and with the virus protection disabled. Suggestions would be wonderful! Thanks.

We've checked your site and it is loading and functioning normally. Typically when acess to private site had been working previously and then stops working there is an issue with the transfer script. If the script is functioning correctly but access is failing, this is almost always attributed to the clock on the system runnng the script being out of sync with network time.  For security purposes the transfer script needs to be submitted within a 90 second window.

    Our school district has been accepted to have an iTunes U site. I received an email with a link to "activate" the site.  When I click on the link I I get the following message:
    "Your request is temporarily unable to be processed. Please try again later."

  • I can't get on itunes web site

    Please help. I am trying to download some songs from the itunes web site and i keep getting this message coming up..'itunes could not connect to the music store. The network connection was refused. Could someone please let me know if i have done something wrong. I downloaded some tunes a couple of weeks ago,so it used to work fine. Please help.     Possibly you have some firewall stuff enabled which is blocking your access. (Could be hardware - broadband modem? - could be software - Antivirus stuff? - could just be iTunes being bolshy!!)
    My advice is idiotically simple (I have had the same problem) - do nothing, just keep trying - do not get frustrated, and finally it will decide that not working for you isn't a good idea, and abracadabra, one day it will work!!
    For me - I do not keep my machine always on - after the latest upgrade iTunes would not load - I didn't care, but after a few restarts iTunes and Music Store sort of felt lonely and unwanted, and now load and work immaculately!!
    I sort of put this down to Mac philosophy.....

    Sorry, but iTunes U is not available in the UAE, so you cannot set up a site for your institution. When, or indeed if, iTunes U will ever be expanded beyond the countries in which it is currently available is something none of us here can say.

  • When i try to go to the itunes store, itunes will close down.  I have Windows 7 64 bit and I use chrome to access the internet.

    I recently upgraded to windows 7 but had this problem in Windows XP as well.  If I try to go to iTunes from Chrome it seems to break my connection with iTunes and I can't get to the store anymore.  When I try to launch the iTunes store, my iTunes application closes down.  No error, it just shuts down.

    I think that being signed into your apple.com account but with Safari first and foremost would be better as that would allow an Apple cookie to be set down onto an integral proprietary application (yes the Safari browser - go figure). Then (that is secondarily) you should sign into iTunes and have (more reliable) fun.
    Google's motto was "Do No Evil" was it not? So do you honestly believe that their primary business interests and application performance jives with that of Apple? Sometimes yes, other times...no. Sorry, just sayin.

    hi Alvin,
    i used to stand while working with my MBP for over a year - sometimes standing up the whole day. i recently moved house and, due to restraints in my new place, i'm no longer able to do so.
    i'm still trying to get used to sitting now and found that my legs are cramping up frequently. that may be due to the fact that my body got used to me standing and is now adjusting, so only time will tell.
    from my experience, i'm inclined to agree with those studies and would encourage other users to try it.

    Some contributors to Public iTunes U courses/collections in our institution cannot sign in to the iTunes U Site Manager for the last couple of days:

    They get this message: "We're sorry, iTunes Site Manager encountered an error"
    We all use iMac or Macbook Pros.
    As an iTunes U admin, however, I can log in without any problems.

    Updating iTunes may not be the reason at all. It could very well be the Support Team has fixed the problem, which i think is the case.
    Also, I learned i should report EACH problem to iTunes U Support Team using its Report Form:

    I used the Report Form a couple of months ago to report a different problem. One tech support person responsded and I have been emailing to that individual via email about a few more issues since then. This, however, is NOT a good practice. Reporting each problem using the report form will help the iTunes Support Team to prioritize the work based on urgency. 
    Anyway, I am releaved it is working now. Thank you. And thanks to the iTunes U Support Team and iTunes U Editors.

    Over resent weeks the down load time for the Appel TV Gen 3 has gone very slow, To the point that you can not watch the movie as it does but buffer and you have to stop about every 15 mins. I have a fully cable internet at 100mps or more. Other Australian sites down load movies in 2-3 min at worst and often can stat and play thought in 1 min 30 secs.
    Apply TV was not like this in fast month to April, But May and June are Not Good

    Have you verified speed via speedtest.net ?
    Have you checked at different times?
    Check istumbler or netstumbler to verify interference
    Make sure you are on your ISPs DNS (settings - network - configure DNS - automatic)

    Just make sure Automatic Downloads are set up for that publication;
    Newsstand updates subscriptions only when using a Wi-Fi connection. If you aren't seeing the latest issue:
    Verify that you are connected to a Wi-Fi network.
    Check Settings > iTunes & App Store to verify that Automatic Downloads is enabled for that publication.

  • ITunes download site not working....

    Hi guys, i've been trying to download and install the new version of iTunes for the past 2 days now.  Since 07.30 yesterday morning to be exact.  Yesterday i got to about 99% and then the download crashed completely and wouldn't restart when I tried to bring it back up again.  Now, all i'm getting is "Internet Explorer Cannot View The Webpage" on the iTunes download site - has anyone heard anything about how long this is going to be going on for?

    What operating system are you running?  I doubt it's an iPhone OS on a Mac Mini, but if you meant to choose 10.4 then you're out of luck.  http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/  At the bottom of the left hand column on this page, you'll see it requires OS X 10.5 or higher.
