ITunes unable to verify address for sales tax - "Please try again later"

Just bought a new iPod Classic, and when I first connected to my MacBook, I got all the way through registering the iPod when I came to a screen for address verification. The county I live in was able to be pulled up in the drop down menu, but when I hit done, it loads for a bit then gives me an error message that says "We are currently experiencing technical difficulties. Please try again later."
Since I can't sync my iPod until I am done with this screen, I am stuck. Has this happened to anyone else and is there any fix besides waiting for the error to be fixed?

When encountering iTunes Store connectivity issues, the following resources provide the best solutions. To isolate the issue further, I'd be curious to know if it persists on other Wi-Fi networks (assuming you are using a portable computer). Please try again later."  I have tried manually assigning a new IP address and changing the DNS settings to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as suggested in other posts but it has not made any difference.  Perphaps someone from HP can resolve this issue.  Please help.

    When enabling eprinting for the HP LaserJet 500 MFP M525 it would not register with the services. It has been stuck on this status for several days under web services: This device is currently being registered for ePrint. Please try again later.
    I have reset the printer factory defaults, upgraded to the latest firmware, and the status remains the same. ePrint does not show the device as registered or a way to cancel the registration. I am looking for some suggestions to remove the device fom this status in order to attempt to register the device again.

    From that help page:
    For LaserJet: Print a configuration page from your printer to locate the IP address. Open a Web browser and type the product IP address into the address line. The HP-embedded Web Server will open. Click the HP Web Services tab. Select the option to remove Web Services.
    This doesn't work, since the printer doesn't thinks it's connected. It still says that "HP Web Services is not enabled":

    That's the issue.

    When I turn on my MacBook Pro, I get the message "File Sync - Unable to turn on iDisk syncing. Please try again later."  I also get the message when I click on Mobile Me in System Preferences.  I also get it when I try to open a Numbers file from my Drop Box files.  When I click on iCloud in System Preferences and click on the Manage button, System Preferences freezes, and I must force quit it.
    This has been going on for a long time.  I have a Mac Desktop, and everything seems to be working perfectly.  As far as I know all of my files remain synced.

    iDisk died with MobileMe. It is no longer active, so it will not sync anymore. You can turn iDisk syncing off in your System Prefernces or update to Mountain Lion and the MobileMe section will be gone for good.

    I just watched a recorded show in a series from my DVR (located in the living room) fine in my bedroom (non-DVR).  When I went to watch the next show, I get this error:  "DVR Message:  Error:  Unable to play the selected program.  Please try again later."
    However, if I go into my living room and try to watch that show from my DVR, I can watch it.  
    Any suggestions on what is happening?

    Hi there, I am very sorry about the trouble you are having with your DVR playback.  Here are a few things that you can try to get this issue resolved.  First try to unplug the DVR from the power for a full minute and restore power to the unit.  If that does not work try unplugging the power from your FIOS router for 30 seconds and restore power to the unit.  The light that is critical is the Coax LAN light if that light is not lit the DVR will not be able to communicate with the other set-top boxes.

    I've moved to photos from iphoto and for a while all was good. And quite exciting. My entire 15k photos have migrated and are available on all my devices. 
    Suddenly, I get this warning when I select or try to edit a photo: Cant Download Photo: An error occurred while downloading a larger version of this photo for editing. Please try again later.
    There is an exclamation  mark and a warning triangle on the picture. I am only able to test on my ibook as my Imac is out of action.
    If I log in to icloud in Safari, I can down load the full sized image no problem.  Any one got any ideas?

    Well stone me, it's started working.  Nothing changed on my side.....  go figure.

    I originally had the issue where it would not connect at all but got that fixed.
    Now I am experiencing the issue when trying update the ipad ios to version 5
    The process finished backing up the ipad then it says unable to connect to the backup server try again later
    Any idea what I need to do now?

    If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect to your computer & click on the "Update your device using iTunes".
    Tip - You may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily.  Then download and install the iOS update. After you update to iOS 5.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).

    There are some discussion in google forums regarding this issue. But I am not sure if they are using the same version of Picasa. I want to figure out if the problem comes from the compatibility between Picasa and mountaion lion or not. I recently updated the os x.

    Based on the numerous posts regarding iTunes and the App Store, there appears to be an issue at Apple's end. Although Apple has not provided any indication on the cloud status page.
    Do not change your settings.

    When we try to play them it tries to load it and then says there is a loading error and try again later, but it never works.

    The problem was solved by Apple Technical Help. The process is as flollows:
    1. Open Safari
    2. Menu item Safari-Reset Safari - remove all website data - reset
    3. Now if you try to login on iTunes connect it will work.

    I have a user with a new iPad2, who has set up an iTunes account.  It takes her username and password, which it recognizes (it fails if she fat-fingers it).  Then it says that it is a new account, and offers her the terms and conditions which she agrees to, and then it takes her to the screen asking for her personal info and credit card info, which she fills in.  Then it pops up a message from the iTunes Store that says "Your request is temporarily unable to be processed.  Please try again later." 
    She has tried this multiple times over the past week, same error each time.  This morning, just to vary things a bit, we tried logging in to her account in iTunes on her iMac.  (If nothing else, a real keyboard and mouse is less painful...)  Exactly the same behavior -- it clearly knows who she is, bringing up address information, etc. when she puts in the right username and password.  But it will not complete the signup with the iTunes store, so she cannot get applications (even free ones) downloaded on to the iPad.
    If I sign in with my appleID and password (set up years ago, and with iTunes gift card credit on it) it simply takes it and works -- but not on her credentials.

    Found this discussion:  https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3603097?start=0&tstart=0 which was really helpful.  The problem is that we were trying to change this person's credit card associated with the AppleID from her personal card to her company credit card.  Going to http://store.apple.com/us/account/home and trying to Edit the credit card information at least got us to a more useful error message -- it complained about the credit card billing address.
    So we went to Plan B, and created a new appleID for her, following these instructions http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2534 to get her an appleID without a credit card.  It then happily completed the registration process, and now she can download free apps.
    When she needs to buy an app, I'll probably be back.  (Sheesh, apple, this should NOT be this hard to give you money!!!)
