Itunes update has no photo sync button

Where is the photo sync button with the new itunes update?  So how do I sync my photos cuz can't find anywhere the word photos.

I think you forgot to plug in your iDevice. Do this now. This is what I see after I plug in my iphone. I click once on "iphone".
This is what I see when I click on iphone. Notice books and photos are not showing up. They are missing regardless if it is full screen or in a window. Notice there are no scroll bars.
Now after I drag the window to the far left, moving quite a bit of the window off the screen, and expanding the window on the right, I can now see books and photos.
Hope that helps.

  • Latest 12.1.1.4 itune updates has issues with syncing to iPhone 6 Plus

I was one of those folks wary of upgrading to iTunes 12 at first but once I did I actually liked it. I especially liked the fact that my frequent syncing problems seemed to have gone away.
Sadly, these problems came back with 12.1.1.4. For the life of me, the latest iTunes version would not recognize my iPhone 6 Plus or it did but when you tried to apply a sync, it lost visibility of my phone.
In exasperation I tried to get the older version from the Apple Website but for reasons that boggle my mind, they no longer had the 64 bit version of 12.0.1. Only the 32 bit version which would not install on my 64 bit Windows 8 OS.
I was able to find  a 64 bit version of 12.0.1 on some other site I found while googling (and this is why I have a virus checker. :-P) and re-installing that worked great. As soon as I ran it, it recognized my iPhone and I could sync like a fiend.
Has anyone come across this issue with 12.1.1.4? I am staying pat with 12.0.1 until Apple fixes the issue.
I know that bugs will happen in software but given the level of importance of syncing ones phone, this really is a feature that needs to be rock solid. Not only that, but the older versions of the software really need to be properly available on the Apple Web site.

    Hello Mirochi,
I am sorry to hear you are having these issues with your iPhone 6 Plus. If you continue to have issues with a looping Trust notification, you may want to try resetting the Lockdown folder, as outlined in the following article:

  • I have a MBP running 10.6.8 and after the recent iOS update I have not been able to sync my devices. I was able to sync an ipod, but not iphone or ipad. iTunes recognizes my devices, but sync button stays grayed.

I have a older MBP running 10.6.8 and after the recent iOS update I have not been able to sync my devices. I was able to sync an ipod, but not iphone or ipad. iTunes recognizes my devices, but sync button stays grayed. I've changed my USB hub, reinstalled iTunes and run disc cleanup. No luck.

You said that your computer will sync other iPods? Are they iPod touches? Other iPod use different drivers the the touch And iPhone and iPad).
    You can try:
iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows
Does it charge? Does the iPod work?
I would try on another computer.

  • ITunes updated and no longer syncs with iPod Touch 4th gen

On January 26, 2014, I updated my iTunes software.  After doing so, my iPod Touch 4th gen no longer syncs with or is recognized by iTunes.  Reinstalling iTunes has not worked.  I suspect that this is a problem created by the iTunes update.

  • Updated iTunes software & ITunes Updater and now cannot sync iPod

I was requested to update my iTunes software and install the iTunes updater, which I accomplished. Now when I go to sync up my iPod I get the following error message "iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to be closed, We are sorry for the inconvenience" It will not allow iTunes to remain open or sync with my iPod. It didn't happen prior to installing the updater. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hard to believe an update did this!! I had the exact problem-updated my iPod & iTunes software & iTunes was crashing whenever I hooked up the iPod-"unclicking" all of my purchased music did the trick! THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH FOR THAT TIP-I'M SURE I WOULD'VE STILL BEEN TRYING TO FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM!!
Wish I hadn't restored factory settings first since I would have at least still had my piles of PURCHASED music on the iPod-I accidentally had ONE purchased song checked off to update the iPod & it crashed all over again-glad it was easy enough to figure out which song wasn't from my cd collection that I uploaded! Does anyone have any idea how this will be handled? It seems that money should be refunded for buying these songs for Apple products that, upon the company's instructions to upgrade, can no longer be played on the hardware they're specifically designed for! Or at least they're hopefully coming up with a new upgrade to solve the problem! Very irritating situation!

    Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!

  • The last itunes update has failed - getting error program C:/program files (x86)\itunes\itunes.exe - R6034 attemp tp load C runtime library incorrectlly. I have tried to repair and reinstall. getting same error - can ayone help

the last itunes update failed - getting error R6034 attemp to load C runtime library incorrectly. Program reference - Program C;/prgram files (x86)\tunes\itunes.exe - can anyone help. I tried to use epir and did an uninstall and reinstall and still geting same error

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
    iTunes
    Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
    Bonjour
    Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
    Please note:

  • Latest iTunes update has elminated the "refresh" feature making download of podcast a waiting game.  Any solution?

    Installed iTunes update 12.2.1(1)
I used to download daily podcast by using the "refresh" click.  That is no longer an option.  What is the solution?

  • Latest Itunes update has ruined itunes and rendered ipod unsupported.

itunes updated and after having to go through a mess to fix it (ie) I had to delete all my apple related programs and reinstall itunes (11.1.4.62) to get it to work at all, now my ipod says "unsupported accessory is not supported". How do I fix this so that my Ipod connects to Itunes again?

  • New iTunes Update Has Made it Impossible to Load to My Ipod

I just downloaded and installed the new update for iTunes. When I next attached my ipod to load things on to it I couldn't. I shows up on iTunes, no problem. But when I right click on things to add them to the ipod it doesn't show up under the 'Add to Playlist' category as it used to. I've found that if I select 'Autofil' that will put music onto the ipod, but I have no control over what order they are in. Any rearranging of the order after they load won't take. Also, none of my Audio Books from Audible.com will load onto it at all.
I tried restarting the system, restoring my ipod to factory settings, uninstalling iTunes and then installing it again. I even downloaded and used the Ipod Reset Utility. Nothing works. So, all I can have is random music but none of the Audio Books which were my REASON for getting an ipod in the first place.
Does anyone have any ideas why this might be happening and what I should do about it?
    Thanks,
    Georgia

I'm having a lot of problems with the new iTunes update. I only use the Shuffle for podcasts, while exercising. With the new iTunes, I cannot even load podcast on the Shuffle.
The Autofill features never worked for podcasts, even before the recent update, but at least it was a convenient way to clear my Shuffle. I was able to highlight podcasts, then add them to the Shuffle manually.
Now, the Shuffle does not even show up as an option, just as Georgia Millet described.
Is there a way to roll back iTunes to the older version, until this can be fixed???? This is extremely frustrating.
I may just switch to a different software, if these problems continue...

  • How do you delete a photo album off your phone that doesn't have the delete option available? and the photos section on iTunes has no photos synced?

so I have an iPhone 4s and a while back I put a photo album on my phone, but now I cannot delete it!! The delete option isn't there to do it on my device and I have tried unchecking the synced photos button on iTunes and that doesn't work, I just want them off my phone.

If unchecking and syncing in iTunes doesn’t work, you may have to use a third party tool like iPhone PC suite. With it, you can delete the photos and videos in Camera Roll, pictures in apps, pictures transferred from computer to iPhone and more. Use “Crtl + A” (for Windows) or “Command + A” (for Mac) to select all the pictures in an album and delete them, the album will disappear automatically.

  • ITunes photo sync button causes crash

I'm using Windows XP and iTunes 7. I'm trying to add photos to my iPod Nano, and since the only way to do that is through iTunes, I'm kind of screwed. Here's why:
Whenever I click on the check box that would sync a photo folder to my iPod, iTunes just crashes. I've tried restarting everything, and tried restoring my iPod. Nothing seems to work, and I'm STILL on hold with tech support, and have been for about 10 minutes.
So if anyone can help with this problem, that would be awesome, because I'm pretty irritated at this point.
    Windows PC   Windows XP

OK so i got mine working, hope this helps..
1.Restore iPod to factory settings (if you don't mind wiping your iPod clean)
2.When it reconnects, Itunes will ask you if you want to automatically sync Music and/or Photos when you connect. I said no to Music but YES to Photos. (previously i said no to both)
3.Once setup is finished, click on your iPod in Itunes, and now if you go to the PHOTO tab instead of crashing when you click "Sync photos from" it is now already ticked, and you can then select a folder to import photos from the options on the right!
After all i tried to fix this problem all i had to do it seems, was to tell itunes to "auto sync photos" during the setup process.
    Hope this helps you!
    Please let me know!
Oh and sorry for the rough translation. I was so excited getting it all to work that I rushed this so i could get the info to you!

  • ICloud update 3.0.1 40 has removed my sync buttons in Outlook 2007. I run it as admin but the add in is "unloaded" and will not install :-(

I am about to get a nervous break down from this. FINALLY I got my 2 iP5 and my 2 Win7/Outlook 2007 PC's to work and sync together. This latest update did remove that add in and it's impossible to install / load it. Tried as an admin but of course no result. I hate this so much that I am glad I don't meet any of you Microsoft or Apple guys who produce this updates. WHY NOT DO A BETTER JOB?

I have now got my "buttons" back ("Refresh iCloud" & "Notifications"), but in spite of that my shared calendar does not sync the events I insert in my PC Outlook 2007 to my other 3 devices.
Events between my 2 iPhones (iP5/OS 7.0.4) work fine, even with my other Win7 PC.
All was fine until I updated my iCloud a week ago... :-(
I have now - as an admin in Outlook - under Tools/Trust Center/Add ins activated the iCloud Add-in, so it is not any longer Deactivated (?)
Under Help / Outlook 2007 - under Disabled Items the add-in is now removed. It was there even after it had been removed from the Trust Centers Disabled Items..
This is honestly the most stupid way of using nice time (thank god it's raining today and my golf was cancelled.. )

  • ITunes 11.4 has greyed out "sync" button and won't back up iPhone 6?

I have iTunes 11.4 and when I connect my new iPhone 6 it doesn't have the available option to sync. It is greyed out and will not sync. Also, when I press, "back up," it doesn't work either. I have told my iPhone to trust this computer, (same as my computer), and I have reset warnings and tried that again. iTunes 11.4, iPhone 6, 10.6.8, iOS 8.

I found the solution on this site, and it worked for me:
    http://www.technipages.com/itunes-app-screen-and-options-to-sync-apps-are-grayed -out
This problem is usually caused by a restriction setting on the device you are syncing with. You may have enabled this setting to prevent your kids from making purchases while you weren’t looking.
To fix this problem, disable the restriction with these steps.
From the iPhone, iPod or iPad, select “Settings“.
    Select “General“.
    Tap “Restrictions“.
Enter the password that was set on the device. If you don’t know it, ask anybody who has handled the device to see if they set a password.
Slide the “Installing Apps” setting to “On“.
