ITunes update was corrupted and now I can't update anymore.

Hi all!
While trying to update iTunes (either by Software Update menu or iTunes itself) it displays the following message:
Both Software Update and iTunes detects that there's an update available. Yet, the message above appears once I click on the Install button.
Any idea how to solve this?

What I'm not sure now is that the corrupted update data is still somewhere in my Mac or it was replaced by the new installation I did. (Yes, I'm the kind of person who needs to keep control over the computer things)
I don't believe so. I think the trouble with getting the updates is more at the Apple servers end of things with this particular issue. (Reports of this error message come in patterns which seem to suggest that.) So I think you should be okay.
... the acid test will be when the next iTunes update comes out. (It's been around two months since the last one, which seems an unnaturally long time between updates, already.)

Cannot figure out what your talking about since it makes no sense.
If you are the account owner you can go to the My Verizon web portal http://www.verizonwireless.com
You must log in with your cell number and your my Verizon portal password. Not the account pin.
Once there you can change your plan and services. However repeated incorrect login attempts will lock you out of the site. It a fraud prevention measure.
1-800-922-0204 call support with your cell number and or account number and account pin and they can assist you.
If you don't have the information then there is nothing they can do.
If you can verify who you are they may be able to reset your account access. But only if you are the account owner.

According to several websites I've read, Chicalogic looks sketchy at best, illegitimate and spyware at best.

Registry cleaners have very little good use, and usually end up damaging more computers than they fix. I'd recommend uninstalling the software.
That being said, Try to start Firefox in [[Safe mode|Safe mode]]. This mode disables all extensions, user customizations, hardware acceleration, etc. temporarily for diagnostic and troubleshooting. If Firefox works find in Safe Mode, then this is likely an add-on issue. Restart Firefox in normal mode, then type "About:addons" (without the quotes) in the address bar. Disable your extensions one by one, restarting Firefox between each one, until you find the trouble maker. Once you do, you can disable that add-on and report the issue to that add-on's developer.
A few other basic trouble shooting things you can try is this:
Run all Windows Updates, install all needed service packs, etc.

Installed iTunes 9 as advised and now I can't access store

Hi, just installed iTunes 9 and advised when trying to purchase a film and now I can't access the store. I can access my account etc but just get a blank screen when trying to access store! Have tried technical support but they say it's my computer's problem. Why? when I was on the iTunes store 10 minutes previous! Have limited computer knowledge but any help would be appreciated as I'm about to be flying and need some new films!

I have exactly the same problem. I haven't had access to the iTunes Store since upgrading to 9.0.1 nearly two months ago and none of the suggested fixes have worked for me. I use iolo as my firewall. Does anyone have any ideas?

If the download does not resume, then Quit the App Store app and delete the partial download in your Applications folder. Then you will have to start the download all over again from the "Purchases" section of the App store.

On iphoto, my import was interrupted and now I can't exit or re-import my photos because it says that I need to wait for the previous import to finish. How can I fix that?

Hey, I just went through facebook hell. I couldn't verify my facebook profile name adequately, so they deleted my account. My spotify was linked with this account. Since I can no longer log into facebook, I can't access this spotify account to cancel my subscription. I tried contacting Spotify, but no response. Please help! I had spotify premium and can't afford to keep paying for something I can't use. On top of this, I made a new spotify account with my e-mail instead and now I can't log in with my computer. It consistently says incorrect password even after I had uninstalled and reinstalled the application as well as restarting my computer. If somebody could help me it would mean the world to me. A good friend just passed and on top of losing all of facebook pictures together, I can no longer just cry and listen to spotify in my room hah. Thank you SOOO much.

Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.
If you still have not gotten a reply:
Did you get a confirmation email from the contact form? It should be similar to "Spotify Support Case #XXXXXXX". If so, reply back to that email and tell them you still need help.
If you got an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it saying you still need help, even if it's from a no-reply address.
If you never got an email, look in your spam folder to see if there is an email in there. Make sure you are checking the email account you used to sign up to Spotify. You can check the email on your account here.

I updated my iTunes to 10.6 and now I can't log into my Apple ID on my iPod Touch. Help?

I did the new update of the itunes for my itunes and ipod touch (4th generation) and now when I try to log into my apps my apple ID window pops open and keeps popping back open when I try to log in. I tried downloading the newer Itunes, it didn't change anything in my Ipod Touch that apple ID still won't work. When I first updated to the 10.6 I was using a very old version of Itunes and it changed a lot in my ipod which I think had something to do with it now messing up.

My iPod was stolen and within half an hour my iTunes account was locked from an attempted hack.
I reset all the passwords and have since gotten a new iPod but anytime I try to login to my account everything freezes. I can access it online and on this forum, obviously, but my laptop running windows7 freezes instantly and my desktop computer running windows XP freezes as soon as I try to go to the store.
How do I fix this? It happens on both the computers I had authorized for that iPod and I'm not sure what to do.
Do I need to delete my account and start over? If so how would I do that? I've been told it is extremely difficult and usually results in the loss of use of iTunes on any computers you had authorized before.
At this point I don't even care about the money I'll lose on my old account I just want my music back.

My account balance was deleted and now I can't purchase anything from the iTunes Store

I redeemed a $100 gift card about a month ago, used barely any of it and now the balance has been deleted from my account. I added another $40 in gift cards today and still cannot purchase anything from the iTunes Store. A red message pops us telling me to contact iTunes Support. How can I:
1) Recover my account balance?
2) Make a purchase?

Try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) and then log back in and see if it then works.
