Itunes v 11.1.5 keeps installing over and over
When I install itunes v 11.1.5 it goes through ok, the program works but I keep getting the apple software update asking if its ok to install the same version. I have said yes about five times and it keeps installing it over and over. How do I check the version on my itunes and how do I stop this update for the same version I supposedly already have?

Adobe reader DC keeps installing over 11
Use Reader 11 and lately every time I return to my computer, Reader DC is now the default reader. I did not want to change from 11 so I remove DC and reinstall 11. the next day I return to my computer and DC is back !!
I do not like DC, do not want to use DC, I want 11 to be my default. Is there a reason DC keeps installing over 11??? Can I stop this somehow? I do NOT want to use DC, I do not like its interface nor any of its "improved" features, I just want to stay with 11 and be left the h*ll alone by DC.
Can anyone shed some light on this??

I do NOT want DC on my system, I only want version 11 and no further since my other software does not play well with DC including my Chrome browser. I did follow the steps you mentioned and still DC managed to install itself over 11 so I had no luck keeping it from returning. Even if you tell it not tu update it does whatever it wants anyway. My current solution, which is a bad option but I have no choice, is to install a different brand of viewer. I prefer to have Adobe Reader 11 but it only lasts for a day before DC comes in and takes over. I am not sure even the removal tool from Adobe can remove it. I have scanned my system for viruses with 3 different packages and found none. There is something about Dc still stuck there and it will not go away. I may have to go manually into my registry and delete every single Adobe key and sub-key there, that will take a while.

I am having trouble viewing iStore. It appears as if its a Flash issue, as several minutes after logging in to iStore I get a non-flash page of iStore in my iTunes window. I have re-installed everything and tried opening all ports in router, and used msconfig to bring up each service individually to see if there is an effect.Flash and iTunes have been re-installed ...any ideas?
I agree. I don't rely on iCloud as a backup, that is what I have my portable hard drive for. Its 500 GB so I can hold my entire iTunes library several times over on it. I have all my movies on my hard drive, but somehow "The Mist" got deleted off of my hard drive, so I figured "Well, the option to redownload an already purchased movie is available through iCloud, I'll just do that!"
And permissions and download availability have nothing to do with it, the movie's still there, it still allows me to redownload it. The only problem is when I click download, I get that message.
And nobody else uses my computer, but I do have multiple accounts authorized on it. Even still though, I am attepmpting to download it through the account I purchased it under. :/ -

Why does Adobe Flash Player 11.9 keep installing over and over on Windows Internet Explorer?
I am having a problem with Adobe Flash Player 11.9. When I visit a site that uses Adobe Flash Player (i.e. NBC News.com) the system keeps asking me to install Adobe Flash Player 11.9. However, Adobe Flash Player 11.9 is ALREADY installed on my system and is working fine. Each time I try to re-install Adobe Flash Player, it doesn't do anything except go through the installation process. Tell me how to stop the notifications.
You've probably got cached files that keep sending outdated info to pages you visit.
Download this file: Deep Clean.zip
Close IE. Check your task manager to be sure the iexplore.exe process is terminated.
Unzip the file.
Double click the deepclean_set.bat file.
A command prompt window will open and your Disk Cleanup settings manager will open too.
Check EVERY box in the list and click OK.
Then double click the deepclean_run.bat file.
Again, a comman prompt window will open, and your Disk Cleanup will run, clearing many more files than the standard cleanup does. It WILL take a while to cleanup.
When it finishes, you can delete the deepclean_set.bat file as you won't need it again, but keep the deepclean_run.bat as it can be used to "deep clean" your disk whenever you need it. Save it in your documents folder.
Afterward, open IE again and go back to NBC. You shouldn't see any prompt to upgrade anymore. -
I have a Macbook Air 13" (mid 2012), recently i installed windows 7 with my original disk and code. I downloaded all the drivers via bootcamp assitant, however everytime the machine keeps disconnecting spontaneously from the internet, and keep saying that there is not driver for the adapter.
What can i do???I install it according boot camp instructions. My thunderbolt adapter used to work fine with windows 7, but suddenly windows 7 did not recognize the driver of the adapter, and each time i install it, happens the same.

Whenever I shutdown iTunes on my computer, it keeps re-opening and I have to go to Task Manager and end the process in order for it to shutdown.

I discovered that its not a battery issue
The reason is that it's chargeable while the phone is switched off completely !
after a while you can see the battery charge is full 100%
but when it's switched on the phone wont charge or recognized
the cable from wall charger or usb so I the ITunes won't sync or see the device !
I think its something with the software !
I tried to update to IOS 5.1.1 but after downloading
it wont install the new update I got this message;
"Unable to Install Update"
An error occurred installing IOS 5.1.1
So that only chance which I think it might hwlp solving the problem is dead now
I really have no idea what to do other than taking this phone to Apple

OK folks I started my deep research about this issue ( MY problem )
Don't know if some one out there is even got similar issue
The battery is charging well while my phone is switched off so last night
my Iphone runs out of charge completely 0% so I plugged the cable
and switch it on after a while and all the sudden it shows that the battery
is charging while its switched on !!
If you want to do this you have to plug the charging cable first then turn off
your Iphone and wait for a while then turn it back on ( sipmle off ) no need
for the (Hard) Reset or recovery mode / DFU mode .
Just as a normal way to of switching off your Iphone by
Holding down the sleep/wake button at the top right-hand corner of the iPhone for a few seconds.
This will bring up a screen asking you to run the slider across the screen to turn off the iPhone.
Wait few seconds and repeat that with holding that same sleep/wake button at the top right-hand corner for like a Sec and it will turn on , Then you can
see that your phone is charging while its on !
If you unplug your charging cable this will ruin the whole plan and if you
you plug it again it wont show anything and will not be able to charge
while its on and you have to repeat that procedure.
Now we are sure that out Dock and Charging Port and battery are working fine , So whats the problem here and why my PC wont detect my Iphone ??

So I think my main problem is from that tiny part that makes all that
problem I have now so I have to replace it first just to make sure before
replacing any other parts so this is the start I hope this was the problem
that caused all this !!!

I'm trying to install iTunes 10.3 on my PC (windows vista) and I keep getting this message, "There is a problem with this Windows Installer Package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor." I accidentally removed the Bonjour service from my system a few weeks ago, but my iTunes continued to work. Now I have no iTunes and I don't know how to fix it. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!

also saw 1 marked as correct answer... (just browse the discussion pages before you ask, this answer appearantly was sitting there from oct. 14...)

Hi Rick,
by "repair" I mean I went to the control panel, option - programs and features, and in the list of all my installed programs I selected "Apple Software Update". On top of the screen you find the options Uinstall, Change and Repair. I clicked the repair button and that did the trick. After the repair I could uninstall the program. I also uninstalled iTunes, Apple Application Support, Apple Mobile Device Support en Bonjour, thus all Apple programs. Then I installed iTunes 10.5 again and everything went fine.

I cannot install ITunes 10.6, my computer keeps blocking on it. At first I had problems with the upgrade, then I couldn't start iTunes anymore, so I had to uninstall it in orde to reinstall it again. However that doesn't work.
Everytime I run the installation process, it blocks my whole computer when I'm in about 3/4 of the install procedure; The only thing I can do is push the on/off button to turn my PC off...
I have an iPhone and would like to be able to synchronize my data... Can someone please help me with this...

Mieke (Belgium)It will work with Windows 7 32 bit. On a 64 bit you will have to install Windows XP Mode. You can download it from the Microsoft Website. The XP Mode will run Windows XP in 32 bit. Microsoft has easy instructions on the download. One download at a time. Install the first download then the second download. You will have to copy your icon from all program and paste to the desktop if you are going to use it often.

You should first uninstall iTunes completely.
