ITunes Ver. 8 won't download

I just the Chromatic and I tried to download the latest version of itunes because it doesn't' sync with my ipod. It says I need Windows XP or XSP something or something newer. I don't know how to upload music or even sync my new ipod to my computeeerrrr! Someone help me.

I am afraid you post is difficult to understand.
iTunes requires Windows XP with Service Pack 2 or later, or Windows Vista.
Are you using Windows XP professional as is says in your signature and have installed Service Pack 2 or 3? You should have been offered the upgrade if you are using auto updates.

  • My iPhone 5 was reset by mistake now my music won't download which I'd purchased from iTunes and I tried buying another tune on iTunes , it won't download to my phone but it downloaded to my ipad3

Hi can anyone help please, my iPhone 5 was reset by mistake and now my music will not download to it even though it was bought from iTunes, i purchased another song with my iphone5 and it won't download ether to my phone but has downloaded to my ipad3

Try force-closing the music app on your iPad by double-tapping the home button, swiping up on the preview above the music app, then tap the home button again.  Then reset the iPad by holding the power and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then release.  When it restarts go to Settings>iTunes & App Store, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in.  Then try downloading the songs from iCloud again.

  • Bought bulk sms App and it appears downloaded in iTunes. Can't access my Apps in iTunes and won't download to my my iPhone either, please assist!!!

Please assist. I bought group sms App from iTunes store and it downloaded to my Windows Ultimate 7 Pc. Cannot get it downloaded to my iPhone 4 and cannoy access any App in iTunes that I have downloaded before. Supposed to transfer to my phone with sync but no transfer happens notwithstanding numerous syncs. Apps remains unclickable in iTunes and not accessable, please point me in the correct direction??

That is because they only work on iOS devices.
As for the other issue, connect the device, select it in the left hand pane.  In the right pane, select the Apps tab.  Is Sync Apps checked?  Is the specific App(s) checked?  Is Automatically sync new apps checked?
Any errors in iTunes or on the device when syncing?

  • Rented iTunes Movie won't download!

I rented a movie on iTunes last night, and I can't seem to download it to my iTunes. My account has been charged for the amount of the rental, and I went to the "Store" tab and selected "Check for Available Downloads," but nothing appeared on the download list. Any ideas as to why this is happening would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

It's quite interesting how a business model like this survives: you pay your money, and you don't receive your product. Since many of the movies that one tries to download on iTunes simply do not download, the business model should be changed to bill you AFTER the movies is successfully download, not before. Too much time and hassle is spent trying to get a credit because of iTunes unreliability issues.

  • Itunes match won't download music to my iPad

My music library is very extensive. around 4000 songs. I have a brand new iPad Air 2 and Match will not download songs.
Os 8.3 running also. I've tried syncing and it won't do that either. I give up

First trouble shooting step is to always simply quit iTunes, wait a few seconds, then launch it again and try to download the tracks again. If that doesn't work, then stop iTunes Match while holding down the Option key and quit iTunes. Wait a few seconds then relaunch it and start iTM. After adding the computer and letting the scan complete you ought to be able to download the tracks.
Once you get the tracks downloaded immediately purchase an external HDD that is 2 to 3 times the size of the internal HDD of the computer and start using the backup software of your choice to backup all your personal data. iTunes Match is not a backup service. You are responsible for making backups of your data.

  • ITunes just won't download. Please help!

    Hey.
I got a new laptop at the weekend which runs on Vista. I've had an iPod Touch for about a year and have used it previously on another computer previsouly with no problem at all.
However, I've trid to download the latest version of iTunes for my new laptop but it will just not download. It normally gets to somewhere between 20% and 40% but then just freezes. If I try pausing the download and then restarting it, it still doesn't carry on but just sits there.
If anyone has got any ideas at all then it would be much appreciated. I am on Firefox and have Quicktime installed.
    Thanks for any help.

When you say "download", do you mean that you cannot get the iTunes installer copied from the Apple web site successfully? Or do you mean that you have the installer on your computer but that after running it, it gets part-way through but then fails?

  • Movies rented from iTunes Store won't download what can I do?

I have rented 2 movies from iTunes and keep getting error messages. I have checked storage and have more than enough available.  Any suggestions?

This happened to me as well on May 14th. I have paid for the movies but still have not been able to complete the download or remove them from my download list. I have tried all suggestions on all other threads. Sync, restore, hard resets, tried swipping left. Nothing is working. I have cleared history & cache. I have logged out of itunes.

  • Itunes 7 won't download on my Mac

I purchased the 7th generation ipod and it will only work with the most recent Itunes, When I go to instal the most recent Itunes on my Mac it won't allow me to install? What do I do?

Choose About this Mac from the Apple menu and check the processor.
If it's a PowerPC Mac, it can't run an iTunes version newer than 10.6.3.
If it's an Intel Mac, click here, install the DVD, and run Software Update twice.

  • Two new songs I added to my iTunes library won't download on my phone. Next to the song is a dotted circle. Is this because it's from the internet and not from the iTunes store?

Is this happening to anyone else?

If you cannot find the file on your hard drive then once you delete the current broken entry you should be able to redownload from iTunes in the Cloud. This assumes the item in question qualifies. Note that audiobooks, digital booklets, iTunes LPs & Extras, ringtones, selected movies etc. don't.
If prompted don't hide the item. You may find that you need to close and then reopen iTunes before it will appear for download.

  • ITunes upgrade won't download due to 'invalid signature'

I have a 2nd Generation iPod Touch which will not download any iTunes software upgrades when prompted to do so.  The first error message advised me to go to Tools, then Download Only (which I did).  The next error message said that iTunes has an invalid signature.
There is a very useful health related app I want to use but my software needs to be upgraded first.  Can anyone help me please?
    Thanks very much, NathalieS

I would delete the download and redownload the updat file.  It is located here for a PC
    ipsw location
For a Mac you the Fibder search and search for *.ipsw

  • ITunes match won't download all songs from CD

Im having trouble downloading certain songs with iTunes match. There's a few albums I uploaded to iTunes from a cd that are not able to download one or more songs to my devices. For example, one album has 13 songs, but one song is greyd out. I don't understand why that is. It's the same with a few other albums as well. All albums with this issue are albums that were CDs I uploaded to iTunes.
My computer is authorized, so I'm lost. Any ideas out there? Thanks

  • Upgraded to iPhone 5s but iTunes Match won't download the music I previously had on my 4s

I backed up my iPhone 4S (ios7). Synced my iPhone 5s (ios7) as a restore from my 4s backup. Everything shows except for my iTunes Match music. My playlist titles show, but contain no music. Also - no music under Albums, Songs, etc. I have turned iTunes Match on and off. It says it is downloading iTunes Match and I get the status bar. Once the bar is finished , there are still no songs on my 5s.  Anyone else having this problem? Thanks!

On the iPhone disable iTM then open the Music app and let the content clear out. Now re-enable iTM.

Update: I am running iTunes version 5.01.04 I was prompted to update my iTunes and this is the version it gave me. Everything worked fine before this update. Is there something about this new version that I should know in order to have my ipod automatically update when I plug it into iTunes online??

  • ITunes Match won't Download Entire Playlist

I have iTunes Match and want to download all tunes from certain playlists to my iPhone so that I have access to them locally rather than streaming.
If I hit "Download All" at the top of the playlist, it only downloads the first 25 songs and the rest just have a spinning red circle. The only way to download the remaining tunes is to manually tap each spinning red circle to get it started, which isn't practical with a playlist of 1,000+ tunes.
    Any ideas?

Hi I have the same problem

  • ITunes update won't download to my PC

Running Windows XP and iTunes 10.5.  I click on Help then Check For Updates and then get a dialogue box that says "iTunes 11.02 is available. Would you like to download it now?"  I click on Download iTunes and am taken to the Apple iTunes download page.  I click on Download Now and receive Opening iTunesSetup.exe dialogue box.  I click on Save File and nothing happens. Searched this site for answers, found a couple and tried them....nothing.  Ideas / help?  Thank you.

    Download the apropriate version here:
    iTunes 11.1 for Windows (32-bit) - Support - Apple
    iTunes 11.1 for Windows (64-bit) - Support - Apple
This time choose "Save" not "Run".
Once it downloads go to where ever you saved it (most likely Downloads) and run it.
