ITunes version 11.1.3 will not let me purchase music
I just downloaded iTunes 11.1.3 after updating my laptop to OSX Lion 10.7. I was able to redeem my gift card no problem but it will not let me buy any music. I enter my password to buy the song but nothing happens afterwards.
Can anyone help?

What exactly happens when you try to buy something ? If you've already removed the card from your account then iTunes shouldn't be asking for any details about it.
If you log into into your account is the card still shown . On your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should be a payment link. If you are doing it on your phone then tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account - that should also give you a payments link on your account's page.

I downloaded a newer version of iTunes, 10.7. Now it will not let me purchase anything. I get an error code -42408. What does this mean and how do I fix? I have edited and revised all my names and account settings, checked payment. Quit, restarted. Help please, I'm going crazy without my iTunes. I'm on a MacBook Pro.

OK, I have fixed it here. Here's what I did:
quit iTunes
trashed ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iTunes.plist
started iTunes, and authorised my account
Worked straight away after that ! -

No one here can say specifically why. But you need to do what it says, contact iTunes Support. Click the Suppor tab above then the link under the Contact Us area and you'll be take to a page where you'll be guided appropriately.

If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

I currently have version 10.6.3 for iTunes. After downloading the new IOS7 software, my phone will not let me transfer music to it without version 11.1 of iTunes. I have gone through and downloaded the missing versions of iTunes (10.6.8, 10.7) and when i try to upload them onto my computer, I receive and error message saying I need version 10.6. Please help!Reset the phone (no data loss): press both the home and power buttons for at least 10 seconds, releasing when the Apple logo appears.

IPhone will not let me add music
My iPhone will not me add any music to it. It will not let me sync music to it, or drag music to it. I've tried clicking the box to manually manage music and that has not worked, neither has hitting the sync button. When I try to drag music from my Library the red circle with a line through comes up. When I try to sync, it just won't do it.
Then I guess I would recommend you try uninstalling iTunes and all of its components as outlined here: Windows XP, Windows Vista/7, and then reinstall the latest version of iTunes. You must follow this guide, uninstalling all of the components and in the correct order, or it will not be successful. Also, uninstalling iTunes only removes the application; it won't touch your iTunes library or data.

Wanted to load an app onto my wife's ipad. BUT, the program keeps saying I've already purchsaed it and will not let me purchase again. I've tried everything I can think of.
